Continuity mistake: Castle repeats incredulous "A week?" when Beckett tells him how long it'll take for the print results to come out. The cop sitting by confirms nodding, and has both arms on the desk. Reverse angle, and the left arm is off the desk, and back to both as it goes back to the previous angle. (00:16:15)

Continuity mistake: Castle approaches his mother and daughter at the bar and orders "a hit of the bubbly." He kisses his daughter; there is one open notebook stacked on top of a closed red one. The angle changes and the open notebook shifted off the closed one. (00:04:35)

Factual error: The climax of the first show by Tom Ford happens with the bold presentation of a Gucci g-string. Maurizio is alive and well here, but the event happened at the presentation of the Spring collection in 1997, months after his death.

Factual error: In the scene after the "stealing" argument with Paola, Patrizia asks her indifferent husband "Do you like my hair?" He's reading a page from "Il Foglio." First, it can't be the actual newspaper because it literally means "The Sheet" and its format is exactly that, a single page and he's reading a large bundle of pages, but more importantly, "Il Foglio" was founded in 1996, after Gucci's death. Factual error: Maurizio Gucci is killed practically in front of a recognizable landmark (Fontana delle Rane, "Frog Fountain") in Rome, but in reality he was killed in Milan. The registration plates of the cars in the scene are also "MI", which would be a pretty extraordinary coincidence in Rome.

Factual error: When Patrizia gives her reluctant father-in-law the locket the birthdate of the baby is not only historically inaccurate (real life Alessandra Gucci was born in 1977, in the movie they hadn't even met by that time) but does not fit the altered timeline of the movie itself, since it says January 20th 1980. It was established that they met in 1978 and married 2 years after that, so a baby in early 1980 is way too soon considering the pregnancy happens way after the wedding in the movie too. (00:58:40)

Continuity mistake: Patrizia is trying on some shoes inside the store in Via Condotti after Sophia Loren left. Al Pacino checks her out from behind, and you can see that there's nothing directly in front of the stool, but in close-up there's a pair of red heels. (00:42:00)
