Continuity mistake: The close-up of Robin's door with the "WRITING" sign on the handle features a shadow completely different from the one Magnum's body casts in the previous and following shot.(00:09:45)
Plot hole: Magnum is incredibly slow to unveil the charade at the base of the episode; he does it based on something marginal (Robin Masters does not do "research" for his novels), but he completely overlooks the key plot point of 1-17 "J. Digger Doyle" was that he does not use a typewriter, but he dictates the novels.
Continuity mistake: Magnum just met the Athertons. The secretary asks him to speak in private, and Mrs. Atherton gives him a knowing look. She holds her foulard in hand differently between the two shots.(00:09:10)
Continuity mistake: When Magnum asks Hayes what's the secretary doing at the estate and not in Greece, he has both hands on the card. Next shot and, like in previous ones by the same angle, his right hand is on the piano.(00:07:55)
Continuity mistake: Archer Hayes shows Magnum the invite with the wrong time. He hands it with his right, which turns into the left in the reverse shot.(00:07:40)
Revealing mistake: Magnum arrives at the Nest. He opens the door and moves past two swashbucklers to talk with the person playing the piano. Is he really playing the piano, though? Apparently not, because the instrument is open and you can see that the inside does not move at all.(00:07:00)
Stupidity: The croquet ball inside the hole is bright orange and easy to spot from Higgins' position. It's impossible he didn't see it as he was dropping the explosives.(00:03:50)
Continuity mistake: Higgins mentions Robin's project to finance "a home for incorrigible boys." He already has in hand the two bombs he reaches for in the bag during the next shot.(00:03:10)
Other mistake: Christopher Reeve's nurse has just installed the camera, and they are showing it to Daryl Hannah. During a close-up of Jason Kemp's camera displayed by a monitor, she notices that the woman victim of domestic abuse is wearing too much make-up for that time of the morning, no doubt to hide the results of the beating she took. Jason does not move the camera at that point, but a minute later he (it actually looks like she is the one doing it, but there's an engine buzz so it should be Jason operating it, not her turning it by hand) rotates it to the right. The visual in the monitor is unchanged from earlier even if the camera moved.(00:33:30 - 00:34:30)
Continuity mistake: Eric Bana is listening to the police radio frequencies at the beginning of the movie. He does it in close-up with his left hand on the money, by his right arm, but in the next shot his position is different, since his hand is holding the right forearm.(00:00:50)
Continuity mistake: Ben got his job. He has to see his wife though, and she passes him the divorce papers. The papers are in an envelope she slides across the table with the flap face down. It's face up in the reverse shot.(00:06:30)
Continuity mistake: Mr. Shamsher at the beginning of the movie steps out of the helicopter with one door open, but when he brings across the other leg both of the large doors are suddenly open at the cut.(00:03:00)
Continuity mistake: During the credits, Amaia Salamanca kisses her girlfriend cupping her face with her fingers that change position between shots.(00:02:30)
Continuity mistake: The alarm clock chimes; Juno Temple reaches up with her left hand, putting it on the upper part of the pillow. Michael Angarano crawls over her to turn the alarm off, but she's napping with her hand by her chin, on the bottom corner of the pillow.(00:02:40)
Continuity mistake: The three friends are at the hospital. As Raissa and Katia predicted, Dr. Victor is hitting on Paula. As they follow him, the stethoscope around Raissa's neck dangles differently from her neck between cuts, with the cup on top of her hair or under it, closer to the shoulder.(00:05:35)
Continuity mistake: In the first shot of the choir (three students harmonizing on a note) the girl in pink holds the sheet with her left hand at the corner and the right hand in the middle. Cut to the wide shot, and she has the left hand in the middle and the right hand at its respective corner.(00:03:50)
Other mistake: In the arcade version (available also for Saturn and PS1 in the Iren Arcade Classics collection) of this game inspired by a Jackie Chan movie, the protagonist, Kung-Fu master Thomas, sees both his martial art and name butchered in "Kanfu" and "Tohmas."
