Continuity mistake: Throughout the various episodes set at the sport facility near Yomiuriland for the final phase of the elementary school tournament, the ferris wheel changes size and number of its carts, and sometimes coloring.

Character mistake: The characters keep referring to this match as Jun Misugi's last, hoping he'll win it, but Meiwa is an opponent just as fierce as Nankatsu, so even if Misugi beat Tsubasa, he would need to play still one more match. It's Misugi's last only if he loses (as in fact happens, but they can't know that).

Factual error: Ken Wakashimazu, the reserve keeper, just announces a substitution, himself, from the crowd (not even the bench!), his presence unbeknownst to the coach and everyone else in attendance. For those not familiar with the rules of soccer (or ANY sport!), that's really not how it works in an official match. (00:13:30)

Continuity mistake: At half-time, Tsubasa and Misaki remark that Hyuga does not seem to be quite himself. Misaki's arms are relaxed down his side, but in the next shot his arm is bent behind his back. (00:13:25)

Continuity mistake: At the tactical meeting before the match, Misugi is wearing long beige pants in the opening shot, then all of a sudden the blue shorts of his normal uniform. (00:16:10)

Revealing mistake: The opening reprises the last part of the previous episode, but Oda (Furano's 11) 's reaction to Hyuga that tackles him from behind (which would be a red card, incidentally) is different. For some reason the shot when he turns around is mirrored, so he turns to his right, but he is running facing left in the next shot. (00:01:45)

Continuity mistake: With his insight, Misugi asks manager Yayoi if she talked about his situation with Tsubasa. She mentions that Tsubasa wants to turn pro. Misugi reacts with his mouth closed in one shot, wide open in the other. (00:09:45)

Other mistake: At the end of the match that Misugi singlefootedly turns around for his team scoring 4 goals in 15 minutes, the TV commentator praises his skill dubbing him "Field prince." In his internal monologue, Hyuga takes exception...so he is responding to something spoken on TV and that he couldn't hear since he's on the pitch. (00:07:10)

Continuity mistake: Moving constantly forward, Misugi and his teammates leave in the dust Hitachi's number 3, 4 and 5 at least three times. (00:04:20)

Revealing mistake: After scoring, the Hitachi team advances to try to secure the result. During the progression of their forwards, the background with a ferris wheel repeats itself, and there's even a small audio gap before the crowd cheers repeat in a loop. (00:03:00)

Continuity mistake: Dinner at Forestier's home, and Georges Duroy does not know which knife to use to eat. The asparagi in his plate are across the small pie in the wide shot, and in close-up they are arranged entirely on the side without his intervention. (00:08:20)

Revealing mistake: In the flashback of the scientists' fate on the planet of Death, the sole survivor manages to run away and avoid the ray of "Belfagore" (which is just a big flashlight). Problem is, he does not; before hitting Bending behind him, the beam fully lit up his back, but he suffers no adverse consequences, no dropping dead for Jefvus. (00:06:40)

Continuity mistake: Janet asks the protagonist, horrified, if she had sex - since it totally would spoil her image if she did. She is holding her martini in hand but at the cut it's on the table. (00:03:10)
