The people around him when he leaps are different from the ones around him when he lands; in particular you can notice behind him in the second shot there's a lady with frizzly hair and a white sweater that already sped way past him in the first one. Stupidity: Towards the end of the season, the Borg Queen uses Soong to get control of the ship. When asked by the heroes who gained back control, she says that her plan is to get back to the Delta Quadrant and prepare for the Confederation that she already fought in her 'future'. If that's her plan, it's quite silly; she prepares for a conflict she might lose, when she has in her grasp the man who, as she knows, will originate the Confederation itself; Soong, not to mention that she can assimilate (or destroy) the whole Earth already. No reason is given why she'd let 'us' live and thrive.

Character mistake: During Act 1, Steve invites the romantic interest of the protagonist to ride his (dad's) Mustang. Prominently featured amongst the merchandise they sell at the store, packages of Fruit Blast cereals advertised as having "DELICOUS taste."

Black Butterfly Murder Case: File 1 - S3-E1

Stupidity: Since "Touno" was prominently featured on the photo of a lengthy article about the butterfly crypto-entomologist Shimon Madarame, it's quite strange to say the least that Kindaichi and his journalist friend wouldn't have the slightest clue about his name or generic occupation. Generally a magazine does not put a person in 1/3 of a double page spread without at least hinting the reader about a person's identity, especially when they are not doing anything in the picture.

Black Butterfly Murder Case: File 1 - S3-E1

Continuity mistake: Itsuki chokes on his beer reacting to a page almost entirely filled with text. Kindaichi then looks at a page with a photo spread with pictures taking 2/3 of the page. (00:00:02 - 00:01:50)

Continuity mistake: The old lady grabs a knife and throws it at Jack Deth. In the wide angle he lets go of the stove, but in the next shot he's still clinging to it with his left hand. (00:05:05)

Revealing mistake: When Jack punches the old lady, he swings way off target, and also 'she' (the stuntwoman, really) turns towards the counter and uses her arms to push herself to the other side. (00:04:45)

Character mistake: Seven of Nine asks Tallinn to lay down suppressing fire, so they "split up." She explains "We have twice as many chances to get to the ship if we divide and conquer." 'Divide and conquer' (Divide et impera, for the Romans) means to keep the opposition weak by favouring the conflict between their different factions. It is not used to describe splitting up your own forces to have better chances to make it out of a trap alive.

Hide and Seek - S2-E9

Plot hole: Adam Soong tosses the phaser before it explodes. The explosion is an underwhelming bang in the air that does not hurt anyone. Soong is a chubby old dude, with no access to teleport technology or any tech, no allies left in the area, inside Picard's home in France, and all he did was run out of the door, unarmed. All Rios (or anyone else, really, arguably even Picard-bot) has to do to catch him is comfortably jogged through the corridor, but somehow since he went out of the camera view and the plot doesn't want them to look for him, he ceased to exist, and he can stir trouble later after he gets (somehow) back to California.

Farewell - S2-E10

Other mistake: When Tallinn dies, not only she is killed through a neurotoxin made in 2024 by a human, for humans, through a patch that the killer carelessly touches himself (we have to be generous and assume he developed some antidote to it) and somehow they can't cure with their advanced tech, but her eyes become bloodshot with visible red blood vessels. Romulan blood is green.

Continuity mistake: When Christine and the groom have a look at the battle on the nearby building, in the shot from the front you can see to the left a very excited guy hop from foot to foot with his mouth open. In the angle with the camera behind Christine, the guy is directly next to her, but there were a couple more people between him and the bride.

Revealing mistake: When he old lady jumps over the counter to attack Jack with a cleaver, she is replaced for the physical struggle by a younger person; you can see her face when the two struggle against the table. (00:04:55)

Character mistake: In the opening credits, the actor Art LaFleur, correctly credited as such in the end credits, appears as "Art Le Fleur" (00:01:00 - 01:15:50)

Continuity mistake: After the successful capture of the two crazy butchers, Tuba and Cheung are in their boss' office. During the earlier part of the scene, the left hand of the boss goes from above to below the table as the camera angle switches to the reverse, and vice versa. (00:43:15)

The Game Mansion Murder Case File 3 - S1-E25

Stupidity: The killer's plan is rather clever, but there's a huge hole in it; assuming the killer needs to be part of the game to set up the traps, there's absolutely no reason for the person they want to -benefit - from the crime to be part of the game. In fact, it is absolutely crazy; they were not involved at all, ignoring who the victim was, and if you wanted them to inherit from the victim, you'd want them to be MILES away from the crime instead of endangering them and inevitably implicate them. If all went smoothly, the police and media would surely have been on their case for the huge coincidence; they survive a murder and inherit from the victim of said murder.

Continuity mistake: When the bad guys bring the suitcase, the one wearing gloves does not finish opening his end. However, in close-up his hand while being at the same spot rests on a suitcase already fully unzipped. (00:32:45)

Continuity mistake: In the gag of the photo on the pier, the guy taking the shots at first is wearing his scarf with one end dangling in front of his chest (when he asks the model to be more feminine), but immediately later the scarf runs behind his back. (00:24:55)

Continuity mistake: Tuba is approached on the pier by a bad guy, or at least one guy with a really nasty 'stache. The guy puts his hands on his hips, and they are at a different height depending on the camera angle. (00:23:40)

Continuity mistake: Rambo makes his nosy colleague put a headset on and pumps the music. In the scene, Rambo is holding the Walkman in opposite directions in close-ups and the normal angle, as you can tell by the side the headphones are plugged in. (00:22:30)
