Continuity mistake: In the transition when Bouc tells his mom that Poirot is his "friend, and he's famous", Euphemia is holding her easel and brush differently between shots. (00:19:15)

Death on the Nile (2022)
Plot hole: This adaptation further exacerbates the problem of previous movie and TV versions; in the novel, Jackie would make the female designated witness talk over and over pretending also to get drunk after Linnet left to go to bed. In the Ustinov version it happened too, but the diversion didn't seem to last more than a couple minutes. Same in the Suchet version. Here, Simon even provokes Jackie practically the moment his wife exits the room. There's no time whatsoever for her to change and get in bed, let alone fall asleep.

Castle (2009)
Nanny McDead - S1-E2
Continuity mistake: After talking to Alexis at the end of the episode, Castle closes his laptop and puts it on the desk. He looks for the picture frame, and in the background you can see in two shots that the laptop is open. Wider angle, it's closed again. (00:40:15)

Castle (2009)
Nanny McDead - S1-E2
Continuity mistake: Castle and Beckett are walking with Mr. Peterson asking him about the possible affair. He says that she was making "Us" dinner; there's a woman in the background, grey coat and a scarf. The scarf changes position at the cut when they call him out on the pronoun. (00:20:25)

Castle (2009)
Nanny McDead - S1-E2
Continuity mistake: Interviewing Chloe, the protagonists tell her that Sara's ex thought she had a new guy. Look at the cyclist in the background (that already made an appearance earlier); he reappears in the next shot as she goes "Uhm...", and he moved backwards. (00:18:15)

Castle (2009)

Castle (2009)
Nanny McDead - S1-E2
Continuity mistake: Castle is on a break at home. Alexis asks him "Who got killed today?" He's putting the cap on a spice dispenser, empty. When she follows with "Do they know who did it?" the dispenser refilled. He then puts it down, but it's back in his hands at the cut. (00:09:10)

Castle (2009)
Nanny McDead - S1-E2
Stupidity: Mrs. Peterson tells the cops in the first interview that the phone went 'straight to voicemail', which would happen if the phone was off, and it's not the case. There's no reason why she'd lie about this particular fact. Which ties into the larger problem that the cops are looking for the missing phone but nobody tried to call it nor the phone company told them it was still on, or the plot wouldn't work.

Castle (2009)
Nanny McDead - S1-E2
Factual error: The establishing shot of the building where the murder takes place features on the foyer quite prominently "715 - The Langham." The story takes place in New York, but The Langham (named after the famous British hotel) is the name of a residential building in 715 S Normandie Avenue in Koreatown, Los Angeles, used in this episode. There is a hotel by that name in New York, not an apartment building, on 5th Avenue. (00:01:00)

Flowers for Your Grave - S1-E1
Continuity mistake: At the precinct checking Tisdale's alibi for the passport stamps, Castle asks why can't she just admit he was right. Ryan next to her is holding the receiver in a different way (look at the index finger) at the cut. (00:34:10)

Castle (2009)
Flowers for Your Grave - S1-E1
Other mistake: Castle's book "Storm Fall" is a bit of an enigma, since it is amongst all the other books in the collection of the scapegoat killer when Kate opens it, but Castle gifts "an advance copy" to her later, while in the very first scene of the show there is a party with the book already in the hands of the public. Reviews and a proper release appear only in the fourth episode.

Castle (2009)
Flowers for Your Grave - S1-E1
Character mistake: At the end of the episode, Castle finds his inspiration again and there's a word processor page fading in/out with text being written. Funnily enough, whoever typed in overlooked something, since there's a sentence that says "Begfore she felt safe." (00:41:30)

Continuity mistake: During the poker game with the other authors, Stephen J. Cannell says "You're bluffing, Patterson." The way he holds the cards differs in the two shots. It happens again later after Patterson says that he wouldn't put a bullet in Alex Cross 's head. (00:22:40)
