Continuity mistake: In the opening brawl, one of the bad guys grabs a wrench from the counter to use it against Sammo. However, the tool was on the counter in the previous shot (showing another baddie escaping) and it was lying in a different position. (00:01:40)

Continuity mistake: Aguilar is restless during the party, and he picks a tarot card from the table, which turns out to be Death arcane. In close-up the card is held by a single hand, but Frank Wolff is holding the card between both hands both before and after that shot. (00:42:20)

Continuity mistake: When Gatou Vardebedian is holding Gus Cardinale at gunpoint, the gun keeps changing position between shots (under his throat, by his nose...) and she is holding it straight or turned sideways. (00:13:00)

Factual error: Richard Harrison enlists the protagonist in the Allied army. He brings Maestro Bordigoni along on a tour of sorts, performing in several cities freed from the Nazis. But the headlines are just wrong; Bordigoni supposedly plays on "Thursday January 14th 1944" in Rome - it was a Friday and most importantly, Rome had not been liberated yet. Same mistake for Bologna; Bordigoni holds a concert on Friday May 8th 1944, wrong day of the week and in a city still controlled by the Axis. (02:16:40)

Continuity mistake: When Polka-Dot Man hurts Starro's leg, its minions cry out in pain as well in unison, but they do it holding their knee or thigh in one shot, their ankle/calf in the next. (01:53:00)

Character mistake: David Dastmalchian is the Polka-Dot Man, hyphenated in the comics, and in the end credits of the movie. Then again, when Waller threatens to kill everyone off, the name of the character appears in print as Polka Dot Man, no hyphen. (01:49:40)

Continuity mistake: When Amanda Waller orders the blonde subordinate to "Open it", the digital clocks show the same times shown minutes earlier when they had yet to wake up, contact them, talk to them, order them to retreat, witness their change of mind. All of which certainly took longer than a minute. (01:46:45 - 01:49:35)

Continuity mistake: After Waller issued her order to leave Corto Maltese to its fate, Bloodsport turns his back to Starro that is wrecking the city and walks towards the camera. Just a moment before the cut, Margo Robbie is shrugging, a gesture that is supposed to happen in the next shot, and she in fact repeats it in the next shot a second later. (01:48:30)

Continuity mistake: Seeing all the Starro drones being held captive in the "Dirty Little Secrets" section, Rick Flag says "Good God". Thinker replies "If God existed..." etc. During this sentence Flag lowers the gun slightly before the first cut, but the gun is angled higher as it cuts to Peter Capaldi and even higher in the wider shot. Other mistake: Escaping from her captivity Harley kills a dozen people with the javelin in brutal gory ways, but when she gets on the taxi the weapon's golden finiments appear to be spotless. (01:14:00)

Continuity mistake: The Corto Maltese Army is storming the pleasure district. As the camera pans from the club doors to the incoming vehicles, to the far left there's a john wearing a brown suit posing one-handed in front of a girl. In the wide shot from behind the trucks, you can see that a soldier pushes the guy back to the wall. But as their commander gets off the hum-vee and yells to search everywhere, the guy is standing in the corner, and at the next cut he's back against the wall. (01:01:45)

Continuity mistake: For the early happy ending, Ellery Queen takes the jeweller by surprise giving him the pearl necklace, and the fella, incredulous, touches his breast. The hands swap position at the first cut. (00:07:25)

Continuity mistake: Look at the overhead shot of the limo approaching the Presidential palace. The gates including the sandbags where military men are stationed are in the shade. We see then a valet open the door for Margot Robbie, and the spot is in the sun. (00:41:35)

Continuity mistake: When Harley bursts out in a Mario Kart-themed insult at the Cortomaltesians, the braid in front of her shoulder is the left one and not the right one. (00:41:00)

Stupidity: When the rebel leader talks to Rick Flag guaranteeing her help, she mentions that she will help to find "this Gaius Grieves", speaking as if it was someone unknown to her. He's been around the island (going to bars and surely not being reclusive) for 30 years; it's pretty difficult to think it would not be one of the most known people on the island, given his role, unique appearance and the small community.

Continuity mistake: When the team gets to the rebel leader's tent unnoticed after a patently absurd massacre, Alice Braga is holding her cup with both hands around it. Reverse shot, and she has one hand on the top and one on the bottom. (00:36:00)

Deliberate mistake: When King Shark grabs the guard from behind and eats him, he screams loudly, but nobody reacts to it, not even his buddy who just went left to fetch a drink. Later Cena and Elba kill 'silently' every other guard, but when they get to a group of three that Bloodsport yo-yos to death, it's pretty impossible that those three could have missed the carnage just a little off to the left. Then again, at the end a whole tower gets demolished without anyone noticing, so It'has to be deliberate. (00:33:05)

Continuity mistake: Gus Soltic at the beginning of the movie pours ketchup on the eggs. When he's done, he moves away the bottle in one shot, but it's still vertical above the eggs in the next shot. (00:02:00)

Other mistake: Beach scene; by the clocks in the control room it's supposed to be just before or at most past midnight (22:52 in Florida, presumably). Explosions nearby, barely past the thick of vegetation, but the team instantly goes to sleep as if they were anyplace safe. To make it more absurd, they awaken in the 'middle of the night' when Polka-Dot Man relieves himself and King Shark tries to eat the rat lady. Cut to the control room, and it's 23:53. It's as if they did not try to move any distance at all. (00:12:35 - 00:29:40)
