However, a conversation ensues and Ginevra at the end of it sees through the telescope...her mother trip, again. Continuity mistake: Everyone is waiting to know what happened to their fellow team member in the snow. Suzumori is leaning with her hand against the window on what turns out to be the right part of a double door. Continuity mistake: At dinner, look at the close-up of the table shown when they mention that the 'tune-up guy' fractured his leg last year. The guy with the blue sweater, Yukioka, has a full glass of orange juice in front of him and the spoon in the saucer is pointing towards him. Kindaichi butts in making everyone uncomfortable, and in the overhead view of the table the glass is nearly empty and the spoon turned around. (00:05:10)

Continuity mistake: Onizuka is on his bike with Mizuki after she utterly murdered the sushi plate. He is still reminiscing about the sweet prime cut tuna while he is at the traffic lights. Several people cross the street; there is a family with a little kid, and a guy in a denim jacket. In the wide shot it's clear that the family is to the guy's left, but in the tighter angle the guy passes them by on the opposite side. (00:34:00)

Other mistake: 'Li-Chan starts explaining Keita about the Neuronoid. The screen that briefly appears as she tells him about the original purpose of the machine is filled with gibberish letters. (00:10:20)

Character mistake: During Wakaouji's flashback, if he really picked the picture from his breast pocket the way it is depicted, then the picture he showed to the captain was upside down. Would be kinda hilarious, but I don't think that is what the animators were going for. (00:16:35)

Continuity mistake: During the board meeting, watch the moment when Ponty namedrops Dr. Kildare. Mr. Bratt is a couple inches away from him, but in the reaction shot looks like he's sitting far away from him. (01:38:50)

Continuity mistake: When Ponty's rival asks at the board meeting "May I ask a question?" the man with the cigar is smoking it, and then just holds it in his hand next. (01:37:25)

Stupidity: Arashi tells Hoshino through his radio to call the HQ, but as shown several times throughout the show, his radio is perfectly able to do that directly himself. Even in this very episode later Hayata uses the standard issue radio to let the HQ hear the alien's requests. (00:07:20)

Continuity mistake: In the executive washroom, Finch says "Wish me luck"; Mr. Bratt wishes him luck grinning like a shark. He has his left hand in his pocket, but in the previous shot his arm was folded. (01:30:50)

He is then trying to tell Rosemary something in front of the elevator, but Smitty next to them seems to sorta hinder them. Smitty is putting a glove on, and in the next shot not only she has it on, but her arms are crossed. (00:38:25)

Continuity mistake: At the beginning of the movie, Finch hops on the boom platform to start his day as window cleaner. His fellow co-worker on the platform is a guy with a big pompadour. A minute later Finch breaks into his song (and into the building) and his co-worker is now a different man with shorter hair. (00:03:35)

Continuity mistake: When the chief of personnel Mr. Bratt leads Miss Hedy LaRue towards the stairs, a woman in an orange and beige dress is moving down the same stairs. In the close-up of the derrière of Maureen Arthur the aforementioned woman is coming down the stairs again and starting from one of the top steps. (00:31:35)

Other mistake: Everyone present in the scene reacts to Kenmochi popping the police inspector badge out of his jacket pocket. That includes the female crewmember who is peeking from the corner behind Kenmochi and that can't see it at all. (00:18:00)

Character mistake: During a sarcastic comment in the final days, Linda mentions "an action figure of Dr. Manhattan, a naked patch for the sims", with no capitalization - she meant The Sims, as in the game.

Revealing mistake: Several times during the game the name of the person saying a line followed by a colon (so, the basic formatting of the script) appears in the actual line of dialogue, sometimes together with the proper name field, other times with no name field at all.
