Continuity mistake: The very first time we see Max Dillon, he's carrying literal blueprints around. He mumbles "There's more room on the sidewalk"; notice behind him just after he says "Excuse me", a man with white hair and beard, smartly dressed with a handkerchief in his breast pocket. The shot changes and the same extra is coming from the opposite direction in front of Jamie Foxx. (00:09:15)

Continuity mistake: The girl from the HQ answers the call from the recon pilot. Her pipe-wielding boss grabs the microphone twice in two separate shots, and her posture is different in both. (00:02:10)

Other mistake: We see a good view of Spiderman's suit during his acrobatics in the air at the beginning of the movie; it's skin-tight and has no compartment or belt. However, when Gwen calls, Spidey reaches behind his back and pulls his phone out. (00:11:30)

Other mistake: In the "How to Play" demo reel, we learn to "Move joystick back for DIFFENCE", which would be a pretty rad typo for "Defence."

Other mistake: Spider-Man learns about the plutonium heist because he overhears it from a helicopter as he jumps by it. Admitting that Spider-Man has enhanced hearing that he doesn't show to that extent in the rest of the movie, he also manages to completely block out the noise to pick up the person speaking inside it, and is unaffected by the changing distance (they both are in motion in different patterns).

Stupidity: Richard Parker needs to upload the video message with his 'confession'. The entire operation requires him mere seconds but instead of taking those extra seconds to do it from home (the bad guys already ransacked his place), he waits to do it when he's on a plane, which in 2002 was not really a great option. It should also be noted that he says he is uploading "all of it", but the only thing uploaded according to the computer is the video.

Other mistake: This movie is set in 2014 (obituary of Norman Osborn) and Peter's parents disappeared in 2002 (articles printed by Peter, FBI files), but in the first movie the young version of the protagonist was credited as " Peter Parker (age 4). " Peter Parker is not supposed to be a 16 years old boy in this movie which opens with his graduation.

Continuity mistake: In the opening scene, Richard Parker hears his son Peter calling his name, and he rushes to check on him, opening the door to his study who has been ransacked by someone. That's the same scene as the first movie, only it is absolutely not the same; not only the position of the items in the room is different (and so also the lighting, since lamps were amongst those objects) but Campbell Scott opens the door using both hands instead of just his left (check out the same timecode of the first movie). Stupidity: The plot could work only if everyone part of the trip were completely silent during the day; even walking through the empty corridors to go from one class to the next at the top of the hour would have inevitably tipped the other group that there was someone else nearby. Some even scream or freak out hitting things.

Continuity mistake: At the end of the episode, Van plants his sword in the middle of one of the planks of the pier, but as the camera angle changes, his sword is in a different spot. (00:22:20)

Continuity mistake: In preparation to the final clash with Tony Montana, Van flips his hat; between shots though he is also holding his whippy sword at a different angle. (00:19:25)

Stupidity: The Ghostbusters solve their problem with the evil slime by taking their clothes off; even doing so, they bathed in it, their faces and hair are coated in it and so are their boots. They are carrying with them doses larger than anything previously shown in the movie of a substance a mere smear of brought objects to life, but nah, everything is fine.

Continuity mistake: When Winston is run over (or 'through') by the ghost train, he holds the stick at different height between shots. (01:01:05)

Plot hole: The Ghostbusters go underground to search for the slime using a map. Even excusing their initial dumb decision to try to dig a hole in the middle of Manhattan when they could have taken that route to begin with, there's no excuse why after their acquittal they never went looking for that river of slime until Vigo burns their lab; they spent weeks studying small samples of the thing but never tried to reach again the source of the infestation to monitor it, which is absurd. Continuity mistake: When the three guys who aren't Bill Murray and so don't mind wearing overalls and carrying backpacks pull over as Peter fails to hail a cab, the car's license plate says "ECTO 2", but in the rest of the movie the plate is "ECTO 1A" (apparently because the former would have conflicted with the cartoon, where ECTO 2 was the mini-helicopter). Continuity mistake: The position of the socks (or whatever they are) sticking out of the suitcase when Peter presents the suitcase to Dana changes between shots. The one on top stick more in the second shot. (00:54:00)

Continuity mistake: When Peter talks to Dana and shows her the suitcase with her stuff (they sure seem to come and go as it pleases them from her home), Sigourney Weaver is holding the towel in a different way depending on the camera angle. (00:53:40)

Continuity mistake: When the Ghostbusters with their proton packs walk away from the car and get to the museum the morning after the bathtub incident, the people in front of the museum and on the stairs change at the cut. (00:50:25)
