Ghostbusters 2 (1989)

Character mistake: At the psychiatric ward, Ray says that Vigo is a XVII century tyrant; it's not a very fitting way to describe him, since he saw the XVII century for just a decade; as the book mentioned, he lived from 1505 to 1610 and was the scourge of Carpathia for the XVI century. (01:16:15)

Suggested correction: Not a mistake, Vigo was a tyrant in the 16th and 17th centuries, Ray chose to label him a 17th century tyrant because that's the century he died in. It would be like calling Osama bin Laden a 21st century terrorist, which is correct, even though he also committed terrorist acts in the 20th century.

Stupidity: The evil corporation (and the FBI too) wants to use Richard Parker's work against his will, but he knows that without him they can't replicate the experiments. So what does Richard do? But of course he escapes making sure to leave his son behind; if the evil corporation didn't kill Richard, they could have easily blackmailed him through his son. That's of course assuming they would never figure out on their own that his DNA is compatible and use it - a risk Richard knows given his choice of words mentioning "my bloodline."

Stupidity: Richard Parker didn't have an escape plan for his family or for erasing his experiments, but on the other hand he had a custom James Bond-like secret laboratory hidden in an elevator of a metro station - something he surely couldn't have built in his spare time, and yet at the same time he seems to be 100% sure that his boss does not know about it because he sent to it a pointless message that gives away the secret he gave his life to protect. The lab has a private satellite feed and stayed powered for the whole 12 years of his absence, too.

Continuity mistake: When Max holds the cables and sings happy birthday to himself, the position of his left-hand changes, from more distant to the ring of the connector in the view from underneath, and closer to it in the other angle. (00:36:10)

Continuity mistake: When Max is talking to his boss and fantasizes to assault him, there's a woman walking past them reading some documents, and she keeps coming from the corridor and passing them by - that's without considering Max's fantasy, just shots of the 'real' events. (00:27:50)

Sammo

Revealing mistake: Max is having a delusional monologue at the mirror with his imaginary friend. You can notice that the 'gap' between his teeth is represented by a piece of black tape. (00:24:30)

Continuity mistake: When Peter pulls the boot of the costume under the cover to prevent May from seeing it, you can get a good look at the stack of books he's going to trip into a few seconds later. In fact, you can still see even as he trips, that the stack includes the famous leather bag from his father. He doesn't knock it to the floor when he trips, but the next shot just shows it on the floor anyway. (00:23:25)

Stupidity: Spidey at the beginning of the movie strips out of the costume in literally a second, but when Aunt May is at the door of his room he fumbles around for an eternity and is unable to change just for the sake of a gag. This pairs up with another nonsensical gag; Peter is in a convenience store, dressed normally. In a split moment he wears the costume, and he put the jacket, hat, scarf, backpack on top of it. If the store had a camera, or he uses those clothes normally as Peter, his secret identity is compromised.

Continuity mistake: The little bullies are pushing the wind turbine kid against the fence; they literally have their fingers inside the links; they look up and notice Spidey, barely move very slowly, but a moment later they are much further back in the alley giving him a solid few meters of space where he lands. (00:20:35)

Continuity mistake: Coming out of the Chinese restaurant, Emma Stone is closing her coat, and you can see in the view from behind that she even completes the movements to properly tie the belt. The scene continues, the belt is perfectly fitting and closed, but the last shot of the scene shows Gwen Stacy in front of the door with the coat open and the belt loose. (00:17:35)

Sammo

Continuity mistake: When Peter is kissing Gwen by the podium, Garfield's right hand is on Emma Stone's cheek, but in the reverse angle his hand is on the middle of her back. (00:14:35)

Deliberate mistake: When Spidey jumps on the hood of the truck, Rhino squirts him using the wipers. Funny, but he can do that only because the detergent sprays forward instead of the angle actual windscreen washers are pointed at. (00:12:50)

Sammo

Continuity mistake: The very first time we see Max Dillon, he's carrying literal blueprints around. He mumbles "There's more room on the sidewalk"; notice behind him just after he says "Excuse me", a man with white hair and beard, smartly dressed with a handkerchief in his breast pocket. The shot changes and the same extra is coming from the opposite direction in front of Jamie Foxx. (00:09:15)

Other mistake: We see a good view of Spiderman's suit during his acrobatics in the air at the beginning of the movie; it's skin-tight and has no compartment or belt. However, when Gwen calls, Spidey reaches behind his back and pulls his phone out. (00:11:30)

Other mistake: In the "How to Play" demo reel, we learn to "Move joystick back for DIFFENCE", which would be a pretty rad typo for "Defence."

Sammo

Other mistake: Spider-Man learns about the plutonium heist because he overhears it from a helicopter as he jumps by it. Admitting that Spider-Man has enhanced hearing that he doesn't show to that extent in the rest of the movie, he also manages to completely block out the noise to pick up the person speaking inside it, and is unaffected by the changing distance (they both are in motion in different patterns).

Sammo

Stupidity: Richard Parker needs to upload the video message with his 'confession'. The entire operation requires him mere seconds but instead of taking those extra seconds to do it from home (the bad guys already ransacked his place), he waits to do it when he's on a plane, which in 2002 was not really a great option. It should also be noted that he says he is uploading "all of it", but the only thing uploaded according to the computer is the video.

Sammo

Other mistake: This movie is set in 2014 (obituary of Norman Osborn) and Peter's parents disappeared in 2002 (articles printed by Peter, FBI files), but in the first movie the young version of the protagonist was credited as " Peter Parker (age 4). " Peter Parker is not supposed to be a 16 years old boy in this movie which opens with his graduation.

Sammo

Continuity mistake: In the opening scene, Richard Parker hears his son Peter calling his name, and he rushes to check on him, opening the door to his study who has been ransacked by someone. That's the same scene as the first movie, only it is absolutely not the same; not only the position of the items in the room is different (and so also the lighting, since lamps were amongst those objects) but Campbell Scott opens the door using both hands instead of just his left (check out the same timecode of the first movie).
