Continuity mistake: After the intro, Florence reaches Jack at the shack and leans against the wall while he's whining about the speech he has to write about their boss. In all close-ups Joséphine Jobert's hair flows in front of her shoulder, but in the one wider angle (when she shrugs him off with "I don't know, sir") her hair is fully behind her back. (00:04:25)

Other mistake: Meeting with the suspects for the first time, Jack is flipping through the brochure with the player profiles while "The prof" is saying that logistically speaking the murder is impossible. Jack looks down at a page, but the close-up shows a different one. (00:08:35)

Plot hole: Reviewing the details of the case at the Harbour with Rachel, you learn that the missing girl last used her passport on May 23 entering the US, but later in the same conversation it says that the last time she used her credit card was to pay for a meal on May 19.

Revealing mistake: During De Niro's voiceover in the "Dear father and mother" letter, the camera pans towards the stage where Senator Charles Palantine is giving his speech. As De Niro mentions the anniversary, a dude in the crowd spots the camera and waves hi to it, says something like "Wonder what's up?" to someone next to him in the crowd and leans to his left trying to stay in frame longer. Continuity mistake: Travis Bickle is preparing for his mission. He puts the flowers in the sink and burns them, he cuts one sleeve from his shirt so he can accommodate a special retractable holster, and then...then he is writing a note for Iris, wearing a shirt with both sleeves, in a room still full of wilted flowers. Trivia: Spoiler; In this episode, for the first time the suspect (and eventual culprit) is not present for the ending confrontation, with a chance he'd get away with murder. The actor playing Samuel Palmer, Larrington Walker, died before the finale could be filmed.

Continuity mistake: Director Okinawara is being grilled by his boss. The close-up of the hand slamming on the table shows the sleeve of someone wearing a brown jacket, but his boss wears a powder blue one. (00:02:55)

Stupidity: After a brawl with gunshots exploded in the cafe, and having just seen Jane pull from the backseat a huge gun, Elena is shocked that the bad guy is shooting at the car and even asks "OMG, is he shooting at us?" How does a line like that make any sense, already late in a chase with weapons involved from the beginning? (00:20:45 - 00:22:40)

Stupidity: The bad guy who spies on Bosley is visible from the very beginning of the scene, when Elena is not even inside the cafe yet. The cafe does not have many customers and the bad guy is using a loud vintage typewriter with a big mirror mounted on top (!). The Angels are portrayed as being super smart and their setup is so careful, but somehow they managed to miss something amazingly obvious. Conversely, nobody would have ever paid attention to a laptop or any silent, modern-age device perhaps with a camera or something similar, so the bad guy chose the most blatantly conspicuous accoutrement for his spying job. Try showing up to a cafe punching the keys of a big clunky typewriter and literally everyone will be looking at you. (00:18:25)

Continuity mistake: In Hamburg, Elena is showing the USB pen to Bosley by opening the newspaper; the cup of coffee faces opposite directions between shots. (00:20:00)

Continuity mistake: At the end of the formal introduction of Sabina and Jane, Sabina wraps her fist around the bottom rope of the ring asking "Who's the client", but in the reverse shot her hand is at an angle and does not clutch the rope. (00:18:10)
