Bad Boys (1995)

Continuity mistake: After the truck smashes through the drug deal location, there's a brief intermission with Julie trying to open her cuffs, saying "Go, go, go," and then Sanchez fires at a bad guy on the scaffolds, killing him. A few seconds of hectic action pass, Julie detonates the barrels, and Marcus looks up and shoots another villain on the scaffolds. As he falls, you can see another one close by; it's the same guy who died earlier. (01:44:50 - 01:45:25)

Continuity mistake: Marcus opens a locker inside Mike's house and fetches two boxes of ammo from it. Look at his body when he is about to close it; he reveals the content of the locker, with a pair of handcuffs shining in the darkness of the bottom shelf. When Julie looks inside to get her handcuff keys, the handcuffs themselves are in a different part of the locker. (01:30:00)

Plot hole: Marg Helgenberger's investigation reveals that the mole has called Club Hell from the precinct. However, if you look at the scene, the villains are not expecting them (Casper spots them practically by accident and asks out loud what the cop is doing there; Noah looks incredulous), and they are even having their ether traffic in the open at the club front. Note that technically it does not say that a call was made before the blitz, but considering the mole knew about it first-hand, it's unfathomable they wouldn't tip them off. (01:23:15)

Continuity mistake: When Marcus's sons yell to call their mom, in the first shot she is holding sunflowers, keeping them straight, stem fully vertical. In the next shot, it's at an angle. (01:29:40)

Plot hole: The movie would have been over in barely over half an hour if the detectives could access the file of Eddie Dominguez. It contained the revelation of who the mole was, which unlocks by itself access to the villain at the end of the movie. It's never explained (nor justified) in the movie why this file would be so secret and out of reach for the Bad Boys, other than to keep the plot going.

Bad Boys (1995)

Stupidity: The plan Fouchet enacts at the beginning of the movie is considered very clever by the captain, Mike, and everyone commenting on it. Fouchet emptied the entire police station (minus a single guard) by murdering a guy dressed as a cop and reporting the crime. It is said that the smartest part is that he did not kill a real cop so the whole force is not after him. The fun part is that he kills the fake cop and dumps him in the street, calling the police immediately after, himself, with the van they are using for the heist. Even assuming that his symbolic killing and massive heist right inside the police HQ don't draw the entire police force on him because of weird office politics he can't control, it's kind of amazing that his 'decoy' involved him having a head start of seconds from the police force he openly taunted, and that he can predict for unexplained reasons will be busy (but absolutely not looking for him) for 20 minutes.

Other mistake: Boyd calls an office in Rome, Inspector Lavazzi. Lavazzi is not in his office, so another officer, Valeria, answers the phone, saying a few lines in Italian (in the rest of the movie, she speaks English with Lavazzi). Shyann Yan is not a native speaker, which would be fine given her ethnicity, but she is also not a competent one. Surely, she is not competent enough to be an officer in Italy. (01:04:00)

Continuity mistake: Dr. Mackles' lecture is interrupted by a student who asks him a question. He raises his hands and says, "Sir?" A student in the first row turns towards him. But Morgan Freeman pauses for a moment and says, "Yes?" in a different camera angle; the girl in the first row then turns again. (00:05:00)

Stupidity: While certainly being a charismatic villain, Fouchet's actions throughout the movie seem to hardly make sense. He kills his henchman Eddie and the call girl he hired because he is afraid of the security of his drug deal being breached. However, he leaves two bodies behind and the whole 2 kilos of heroin in its original evidence room-taped package that directly connect this incident to the drug heist. Then, when he finally gets the location of the witness to his already obvious murders, he does not just put a bullet in her while she is at his mercy, but rather drags her around when she has absolutely zero value to him. He even tells Mike very kindly when exactly his drug deal is going to happen.

Continuity mistake: Fouchet dies with a dramatic close-up of Tcheky Karyo tilting his head to the left as he draws his last breath. Then an overhead shot just shows him facing up. (01:53:10)

Continuity mistake: After Fouchet is hit, he still manages to crawl a bit on the tarmac, his head well away from the painted part in the overhead shot. When Marcus taunts his "punk a$$," the close-up on Tcheky Karyo shows him against the white painted asphalt. (01:51:54)

Continuity mistake: The taxi leaves the scene with a left turn. You can see it is missing the front hubcap on that side, but it was in its place just moments before; no further crashing happened. (01:37:25)

Suggested correction: The taxi's front left hubcap does not suddenly go "missing" between two shots. The reckless taxi hits the median island (sparks in this shot), hits three metal trash cans, and slams into a car. It's quite plausible to accept that, due to these jarring impacts, even though no further crashing happened the left hubcap has already been jostled loose; so during Martin Lawrence and Will Smith's iconic close-up shot, there is sufficient time for that hubcap to fall off while the taxi is off-screen.

Super Grover

I never said it was from consecutive shots, just that there were no other collisions. It didn't look loose in the slightest after all the collisions you mentioned. The last time we see it on screen, it is actually hidden by a fender that is not supposed to be there because of another mistake already reported, so we could say that is part of that other mistake, if anything.

Sammo

Even though "there were no other collisions" that occurred, within the scene it's a reasonable possibility the hubcap could have been loosened by all the impacts from moments before. And the problem with stating "it didn't look loose in the slightest" after all the collisions is that a loosened hubcap can sometimes be completely unnoticeable visually while the vehicle is in motion. The hubcap could have fallen off as the taxi is driving away, while off-screen (blue fender shot notwithstanding).

Bad Boys (1995)

Stupidity: A movie always needs extra conflict, but Julie's reasoning for walking out on Marcus and Mike is one of the dumbest. "If his wife can find us, I'm a LOT better off on my own." What sort of logic is that? She's the wife of his best friend. Of course she knows where he lives. (01:32:45)

Continuity mistake: Marcus falls on a big pile of trash after he unsuccessfully tried to infiltrate his own home. The garbage bins fall with their lids facing outwards, towards the street. Mike and Theresa lean from the window, and an overhead shot of the garbage mess is shown. By any basic rule of cinematography and film logic, that is their POV, what they see. However, they "see" the trash cans facing towards them, towards the house. (01:21:25)

Continuity mistake: During the argument with the crazy and possibly murderous shopkeeper, there's a cut to Julie saying he's got "a cannon." He then shouts, "What do you want?" pointing said cannon towards where Martin Lawrence would be, but then in the reverse shot, it's pointed at Will Smith. Also, when they get him by surprise, their guns are in frame coming from the side, but they were standing in front of him in the rest of the scene. (01:16:00)
