Continuity mistake: Interviews at the American Colony Hotel in Jerusalem. At quarter to 4 Lennox fixes his mother's wristwatch; the sunlight is much dimmed down in the shot when she waves him off. (01:00:25)

Continuity mistake: Poirot wants to interview Lennox Boynton at the hotel, where he is having a toast with his wife. The wife leaves the table picking up her hat. Under the hat there's a plate with a napkin on it, untouched, but when Poirot sits at the table, the napkin has been used, or at least it's not resting neatly on the plate anymore. (00:59:20)

Continuity mistake: As Poirot is attempting to leave Lord Peel's office, Miss Quinton says that she's going to visit Petra with Mr. Cope. There's a cut mid-sentence (those are never good to see), and while her position is almost flawless continuity-wise, in the background the curtains on the left window are parted and away from the wall in the second shot, were straight in the first take. (00:57:30)

Continuity mistake: Poirot tells the doctor that if she 'put the clock back two hours' she would have protected Raymond. During the dialogue, the extras in the market on the background don't carry between cuts, or do it wrongly, like the man with a basket that walks next to the car coming from different directions. (00:52:50)

Continuity mistake: In the scene at the market in Jerusalem, when Poirot tells Dr. King "Offer him five", the merchant at the stall is standing in front or behind a trinket with a large rectangular pendant, depends on the camera angle. (00:49:45)

Death on the Nile (1978)

Other mistake: The flashback that shows when the culprit is able to inform the accomplice that Mrs. Ottenbourne is about to expose them differs in many small details from the original; when she enters the room, Ustinov by the door fixes his jacket with one hand, and in the original scene he did it with two, when Simon urges her to tell the story from the beginning she has her hand on her chest in the flashback and not in the original. And her last words are "I saw that it was" vs "I saw it." This is no subjective, hypothetical flashback. (01:48:05 - 02:10:05)

Death on the Nile (1978)

Continuity mistake: When Poirot calls the doctor's testimony "irrelevant", the doctor's left hand is on his leg, but he's holding his clock's chain in the next shot. (02:00:25)

Death on the Nile (1978)

Continuity mistake: When Poirot says "That's not quite right" in rebuttal to Race's frustration, he raises his index finger. The same gesture in the reverse angle has him with both index and middle finger raised. (01:46:10)

Death on the Nile (1978)

Continuity mistake: Poirot has a chat with Jackie before dinner after the murder. She says she is ashamed, holding the railing. Poirot tells her that now he, Simon, is available to her again, and Mia Farrow has just the back of her fingers against the railing. (01:40:45)

Death on the Nile (1978)

Continuity mistake: Inside Pennington's cabin, Poirot finds the document they were looking. He shows it briefly to Race, who is holding a file with a black binding on the right side (so he's holding it the wrong way). George Kennedy shows up in the next shot, and Race is standing there holding the file this time the correct way, and facing the other way after a further cut. (01:38:05)

Death on the Nile (1978)

Continuity mistake: When Poirot accuses madame Otterbourne repeating the "can't libel the dead" phrase, Angela Lansbury is staring him down with her left hand nowhere in sight. Reverse angle, and she is clutching her pearls with that hand. (01:35:05)

Death on the Nile (1978)

Continuity mistake: When Mrs. Van Schuyler mentions a "popping sound", David Niven's position is different in the two takes; first his hands touch, then he suddenly has one hand on the armrest. Similarly, when she mentions "an indifferent champagne" her hand is on her embroidery, but she was gesticulating away from it before the cut. It's then Peter Ustinov's turn to be inconsistent; Niven asks "Could it have been a small pistol" etc. and Ustinov is fingering his moustache, but in the next shot he isn't. (01:29:00)

Death on the Nile (1978)

Continuity mistake: Race hears Poirot's morse code and grabs his mighty swordstick; look at his tie. When he's inside Poirot's room, his Royal Green Jackets tie is styled different; in his own room the small end reach approximately the second-to-last red diagonal stripe of the wide part, while in Poirot's room the small end reaches barely the third-to-last stripe. Death on the Nile (2022)

Other mistake: In the origin story of Poirot's facial hair, we see the damage on his cheek is massive, well into the cheekbone. His girlfriend says he'll grow a moustache to cover it, and surprisingly, it works - nevermind the fact that scar tissue wouldn't grow hair. When we see the scar without the moustache, while smaller than the initial damage, it still extends into the cheek at the level of the nostrils in a way that the 'stache couldn't seamlessly cover like in the rest of the movie and its prequel.

Character mistake: The second screen of Nutaku's "ending" begins with quotation marks that never close - and they were never supposed to be there in the first place, her line begins only a few words later.

Ghostbusters (1984)

Revealing mistake: When the ghosts are released from the storage unit, there's a shot of the light beam followed by a wide panoramic view of New York where the ghost lights depart as strings and orbs of energy. If you look at the Empire State Building, you can see that the first orb supposedly passes behind it, but its outline can be in fact seen through it. (01:09:05)

Ghostbusters (1984)

Character mistake: Peter tells Egon over the phone that he gave Dana "300 cc of Thorazine." Besides the funny implications the movie ignores on how and why he was in possession of it, Venkman says "cc", but the drug is dosed in mg, so at the very least Venkman misspoke (that'd be 1/3 liters!). The line is not in the shooting script and other sources like the novelization just say that Dana had some valium lying around. (01:02:30)

Ghostbusters (1984)

Continuity mistake: Dealing with Tully, Annie Potts says one rather oddly foreshadowing line to Harold Ramis about his death, and then clings to him. Ramis puts a hand on her shoulder, and the position is different in the next shot. (01:02:00)

Continuity mistake: When Venkman is in Dana's bedroom the quantity and quality of light coming through the window changes between shots; look at the side of the window when he is counting down, for instance. (00:58:30)
