Visible crew/equipment: When Drew Barrymore runs away after the killer just called her 'blondie', there's nobody behind her character, and yet a new shadow is cast on the wall to the left when the camera follows her around the corner to lock the front door. (00:03:50)

Scream 2 (1997)
Trivia: Joel walks away from Gale leaving the footage he shot. Since his van has been taken as evidence, he has a cab waiting. If you look at the cabbie, who is barely visible, you can see he is wearing a neck brace. That was an improv gag by the extra, who showed up with the brace supposedly as 'protection' against his throat being cut off. Wes Craven enjoyed the idea, much to producer Marianne Maddalena's dismay, but eventually it didn't lead to any extended screentime for the extra. (Anecdote from the DVD commentary). (01:14:05)

Ghostbusters (1984)
Revealing mistake: The hotel where the Ghostbusters conduct their first sorta-successful disinfestation is supposed to be called "Sedgewick Hotel." However when the trio enters the hallway, through the window you can see the sign "Biltmore's Cleaners", and to the left "One Bunker Hill." The real hotel in Los Angeles used for the movie shoot is the Millennium Biltmore, which is in the One Bunker Hill area. (00:29:55)

Ghostbusters (1984)
Continuity mistake: Dana is at the Ghostbusters' who just tested her with a device. When she says that she does not believe in 'those things', Ego picked up a cheez-it and brings it to his mouth. In the next shot he's not the one with a snack to his mouth, Ray is. (00:23:25)

Ghostbusters (1984)
Continuity mistake: The guys have just been thrown off campus. A liquored-up Peter walks Ray to the right explaining; "I believe that everything happens for a reason." Before the camera cuts away, you can see the head of a girl with a red ribbon in her hair that is going down the stairs. Next shot and she hasn't even set foot on the first step yet. (00:14:45)

Ghostbusters (1984)
Continuity mistake: Dana witnesses the horrific appearance of Zool inside the fridge, and as she tells the Ghostbusters, slammed the refrigerator door shut and left. However, when Peter talks to her in the living room after he checked the fridge himself, you can see that the items on the table (the one by the TV she watched the commercial from) have been radically rearranged, something she surely wouldn't do leaving in a hurry. Ghostbusters (1984)
Other mistake: After the trio stormed off the library, they are walking around the campus. As Venkman giggles mocking the "Get her" lack-of-a-plan, to the right of the screen there's an elderly lady who keeps staring curiously right at the camera. (00:12:20)

Ghostbusters (1984)
Continuity mistake: The future Ghostbusters don't have a clue yet what to do with the ghost of the librarian. They send Peter first, who tries to work his charm saying "Hello. I am Peter." Harold Ramis in the background is pointing the camera at a different height/angle between the two shots. (00:11:30)

Ghostbusters (1984)
Continuity mistake: Venkman is questioning the shocked librarian about possible use of drugs. Director Delacorte in the background is half turned towards them, but he's facing them directly in the close-up when Venkman says "Just asking." (00:08:05)

Ghostbusters (1984)
Continuity mistake: The shot that introduces the existence of the Ghostbusters is a shot of the door of the "Paranormal Studies" laboratory inside Columbia university. It's a door that opens to the left and bears a glass panel with the names of the 3 scientists. When the shocked kid and Ray use it though, the door swings the opposite way. And when the Ghostbusters get back to their lab and find the Dean there, it's a double door with no glass, which was a prop built just for that opening shot. (00:02:45 - 00:13:10)

Scream 3 (2000)
Continuity mistake: Cotton agonizes on the floor with his right arm raised, but for the views with the camera pointed at the killer, his arm is lowered. (00:09:10)

Scream 3 (2000)
Continuity mistake: In the action sequence where Cotton pushes Ghostface against the bookcase, the killer faces the wall, then at the cut he is facing Cotton before the case falls on him. (00:08:55)

Scream 3 (2000)
Continuity mistake: Cotton arrives at his apartment; seen from behind, he leans into the door putting his right hand on the frame. Side view and he's leading with the left. Very similar mistake a handful of seconds later; look when he moves up the stairs. He gets one foot on the last step and it's the right foot, then it happens again, but it's the left foot that leads. Scream 3 (2000)
Continuity mistake: Christine turns off the stereo. Look at her hair, and keep looking as she walks along the corridor. The hair keeps changing position over her shoulders between takes. (00:04:50)

Scream 3 (2000)
Revealing mistake: Cotton is trying to reach his girlfriend using his phone. He shouts "Pick up the phone!" then curses because he has to quickly sverve. In the last shot of his maneuver at that crossing, two other cars have to zigzag to avoid a collision. Skidmarks which match their motions are already present on the asphalt, very likely from a previous take. (00:03:25)

Scream 3 (2000)
Continuity mistake: Cotton is talking in traffic using his car phone. Notice the way he holds it in the very first shot; his pinky finger is behind the receiver, but it's on a different position after the cut. (00:00:35)

Scream 3 (2000)
Other mistake: Cotton's opening line in the movie is that he won't go below 1 million bucks as he's risking his reputation for the cameo, furious that they can't write him a decent part for the Stab movie. So he's still negotiating, but the news story later in the movie says he filmed the cameo the day before.

Scream 2 (1997)
Other mistake: Much like in the original Scream, an absurd amount of time goes on since the time when Dewey is left for dead (they broke into the school at half past nine according to the clock) and when first aid is administered (the morning after).
