Factual error: Dave Franco mentions the difficulties finding any hotel in Berlin because of Folson Europe and the Oktoberfest, which would be consistent with mid-September; in the year 2014 when the movie is set, Folsom started on the 13th. But he also adds that the G8 is in town, which is a question mark (couldn't have been the G8 Summit as it was not in Berlin but in Brussels, and in June anyway) and, "this week" the Berlin marathon, who took place on September 28th, definitely too late to be in the same week as Folsom. Continuity mistake: The day of Sophie's first birthday, just before the arrival of the babysitter the friends are having a toast with juice. When Messer asks "Are you crying? look at the glass in his hand; it's about 1/3 full, same as the rest the scene. Except after the doorbell rings, when Katherine Heigl asks "Why do you need a babysitter?" there's a brief close-up with Messer's chest in frame, and the glass there is about 2/3 full. (00:11:10)

Continuity mistake: In the shot the parents take with her daughter, Messer and Holly when the baby conks Katherine Heigl on the nose, Josh Duhamel's bottle is visible in frame, neck sticking out. Cut, and it's not visible anymore until a couple seconds later, when he is holding it from above. (00:14:20)

Seinfeld (1990)

The Statue - S2-E6

Continuity mistake: The first time we see Ray, he kisses his fiancée's hand. Elaine in that shot is holding her papers, with the thicker black book closest to her chest. A couple of shots later when he bows to "Jerry, lord of the manor" the books in Elaine's arms have switched position. (00:05:50)

The Statue - S2-E6

Continuity mistake: George had enough of Ray's pawn shop story and jumps up calling him a thief. Watch the couple at the table; the woman, wearing a purple sweater, has her hand on the man's arm in the reaction shot, when nothing of the sort was happening in the wider angle. (00:15:30)

Ride Along 2 (2016)

Continuity mistake: The brothers in law are shaking hands with Captain Hernandez in front of the district. There's a woman with long brown hair and carrying a purse. She keeps passing them by walking up the stairs, twice with a friend with a purple top, once on her own, and comes down the stairs not too long after. She's not the only extra recycled / passing a few times in succession, for instance a bald black man in a dress shirt. (01:31:20)

Revealing mistake: KantMiss puts the chicken badge in her sister's hand. Actually through her hand, since it stabs her with a long and sharp pin. But as she holds her hand, the long piece of metal is gone - it's perfectly fine for the characters to suddenly heal from one scene to another since it's a crazy spoof movie, but here we are midway through a visual gag and the nail is missing while the girl is still screaming in pain trying in vain to pull free. Riot (2015)

Factual error: The good guys manage to take over key parts of the prison by homebrewing some chloroform mixing alcohol and bleach in a cute little spray bottle, crawl through the ventilation system and slip in the room a couple dainty squirts. Which instantly knock the guards (one of them with a full face helmet) out. All of this is of course bahooey; chloroform is really volatile and would never make it across the room, and the dosage is absolutely negligible. If the gas were this powerful (which is not) would have KO'd the two agents anyway while they were doing this chemist stunt preparing the gas itself in the tiny broom closet.

The Dilemma (2011)

Continuity mistake: During the chat in the opening credits, Winona Ryder's right hand keeps changing position even when the flow of the conversation is continuous and there's absolutely no room for changes in between shots. When they talk about the crossbow case she even goes from holding a forkful of food, to a glass of wine. (00:02:00)

Riot (2015)

Factual error: The protagonist is serving time in a federal prison, but he regularly sports a bracelet with a very long string, complete with an anchor-shaped pendant super-easy to weaponize (he never does in the movie, being a good guy!) and going pretty much against every regulation.

Riot mistake picture

Factual error: Throughout the movie Danielle Chuchran wears full makeup (lipstick, eye-shadow, even mascara) despite being a prisoner. All the other female characters wear no make-up at all (or if they do, it is completely inconspicuous). It should also be noted that she is an outcast that is on the wrong side of the people who run the joint, the fact that she's the only one dolled up makes no sense other than for the very non-plot related reason that she is the deuteragonist, 'good guy' and gets close-ups.

Ride Along 2 (2016)

Continuity mistake: For some reason, Olivia Munn decides to go create a distraction dancing with Pope. When she goes down the stairs, two women are ascending, but at the cut an entirely different one is coming up (who was also seen going down just at the beginning of the sequence anyway). (01:02:30)

Ride Along 2 (2016)

Revealing mistake: AJ is looking through Pope's files. They various mails scroll by really fast but even without slo-mo it's fairly easy to pick up the fact that they are repeats, with the phrase "No mistakes this time" popping in more than once. Unless everyone is prone to mistakes in Pope's organization, it does not make sense. (01:12:45)

Ride Along 2 (2016)

Continuity mistake: Pope stops the trio as they are trying to slip away from his residence during the party. Filmed from behind, he is talking to them being to Ben's right, but filmed from the front, he's positioned between Ben and Maya, to the point that when he walks forward they have to make way splitting left and right. Ride Along 2 (2016)

Continuity mistake: Ben and James have stopped the "ghost" truck. Ben is gloating that it's their "first bust as the Brothers-in-law." Notice the cone of light under the vehicle, at the lower part of the car door. Next shot it's suddenly gone. The side of the pick-up keeps switching between lit or not, and in the last shot from normal height the doors are even fully open. In the aerial shot that comes after, just one door is open and the other closed. (01:16:40)

Continuity mistake: When AJ tells the gang that there's a shipment every morning, Ben goes "Let's do it." Likewise, she changes arm position when James tells Ben that he needs to talk and they move away. (01:21:25)

Continuity mistake: James and Maya open the cargo container and find pile of of drugs and weapons stashed there. Ice Cube holds the automatic weapon in different ways depending on the angle (just look at the strap), and when Pope gives them a shout you can see also Olivia Munn reach for the gun (which is on the cargo bed) using her hands in a radically different way.
