Continuity mistake: When the fake tourist tells Xander "You need a new plan", a guy with a blue tank, khaki pants and a black and white sports bag passes by. Vin Diesel rebuts "I need a new map" and the same guy is passing again, and again. (00:17:40)

Character mistake: The astute Xander Cage is able to guess that the fake tourist approaching him is, in fact, a fake because he spoke to him in English and he couldn't have guessed he was not a local. Of all the possible hints, given the fact that everything about a guy who randomly sits next to you and starts talking to you saying vaguely ominous things is suspicious, especially if you are a former CIA agent on the run, Xander's reasoning does not hold much water there when you consider that he was reading a map in English, with notes scribbled all over also in English. Anyone could have guessed that, and the guy takes a good look at the map, in fact comments on it. Besides, the tourist could have simply been looking for someone in this foreign country who'd knew his own language, and someone who has obviously been abroad a lot could be a good candidate for that. Continuity mistake: When Xander's Dominican girl wakes up not finding him in bed anymore, she walks to the beaded curtain and opens it. She does it in two separate shots, with her left hand being at the same height of her right in the first shot, coming down from a higher position in the next shot. (00:17:05)

Continuity mistake: When Xander Cage justifies being a cheapskate freebooter to the buxom brunette, he's leaning all the way against the hut, left arm outstretched in the first shot, while in the second shot he's in the middle. (00:16:15)

Continuity mistake: After the ski sequence, Xander walks to a bus stop and gets a skateboard from a kid. He grabs it by the front, his hand above the wheel, but in the next shot he's holding it by the side and only then shifts his hand to the front. (00:13:35)

Continuity mistake: Tony Jaa joins the others outside the CIA building "just in time." Behind him, a cab stops by. The cab appears and disappears between shots, "just" arriving again once he triumphs over his showboating motorcyclist adversary that does wheelies instead of shooting. (00:10:55)

Factual error: Deepika Padukone cuts through steel using a thermal lance - you can see in a shot with Yen and Bisping sparks flying through the door. She then opens the same metal door placing her unprotected hand on it and keeping it in place for a second. The whole door must be pretty darn hot, surely enough to discourage anyone to give it a barehanded casual push. (00:10:40)

Continuity mistake: Michael Bisping tackles the CIA agent and they begin a brawl in a room. There's a close-up on Donnie Yen looking at them, but in the next shot he's nowhere to be seen between the open doors - he appears only in a different shot a couple cuts later. (00:10:15)

Deliberate mistake: The elevator chime we hear at the beginning when the CIA exec reaches the floor, and the one we hear when Michael Bisping storms out of it to tackle the agent, are different. That's obviously a Deliberate Mistake since the second time around the chime is meant to resemble the bell ringing at the beginning of a match, a nod to Bisping's main occupation. Deliberate or not, the implication that Bisping has been hiding for no reason in a closed elevator for minutes is kinda comical. (00:07:40 - 00:10:10)

Stupidity: At the very beginning of Donnie Yen's fight inside the CIA conference room, security barriers start descending in the room, windows first and then doors, but somehow the exitway for him (which even communicates with the main elevator. Not a secure bunker or anything) starts shutting down a minute later so he can baseball slide past it before it closes. That's pretty nonsensical security protocol. In fact, the whole operation is successful because apparently the CIA Headquarters lack any cameras and sensors in the corridors, security at the lower floors, main doors, perimeter, especially during the top brass meetings (that happen in a room with huge windows with reinforced glass a man can break jumping at it). Factual error: When Xiang shoots at the agents in the conference room sliding along the table, he surfs through it without buttscooting or moving his legs or anything; he gave himself a light push with the foot at the beginning, but he couldn't glide like that for such a prolonged time and length even if the room were built not level, and he soaped up his fancy leather jacket before the fight. Revealing mistake: Xiang storms the CIA headquarters at the beginning of the movie and fights off a dozen of agents and executives. Check out the moment when Toni Collette comically pokes her head from under the table and Donnie Yen kicks two agents. The second agent is charging at him with his fist raised, but blatantly stops with no guard raised, waiting to be spin-kicked into oblivion. He was also seen hopping up but when they get blasted away it's the burly Asian guy who is level with Donnie Yen, not him. (00:09:35)

Other mistake: When Donnie Yen does his spinnarooni thing on the conference table, one of the CIA agents in the background has his gun pointed at him, but breaks his stance acting scared right when the villain stops being dangerous as he is standing up. (00:09:20)

Continuity mistake: When Donnie Yen is at the CIA HQ, at one point he's looking for a way out and jumps back-first on the large desk starting to spin on his back shooting all around himself. In the first shot there's nothing directly under him, but in the aerial shot he's doing the weird breakdance move having one of the desk pads underneath him. (00:09:20)

Continuity mistake: When Donnie Yen snatches the Box from Jane Marke and puts his butt on the table to do some showboating, the old looking guy reaches for his gun very promptly with an angry face right at the beginning, then it cuts to a shot of Donnie doing a silly shrug, and the guy is frozen and befuddled for a second, pulling the gun only later with an even meaner face, that is instantly different at the cut. Continuity mistake: At the meeting of the CIA high-ups, Toni Collette says "One of you is behind this", holding the Pandora Box. Notice the man who just spoke before her, with his arm resting on the table. Reverse shot, and the forearm is raised so his hand is on his cheek. (00:08:55)

Other mistake: When Ruby Rose is introduced, the Italian localization does not understand the reference to the game "Call of Duty", and thus just translates the expression literally. Italians play "Call of Duty", not "Dovere." (00:33:10)

Factual error: The doomsday device used by the bad guys to hack the various satellites apparently gives them also magic boosts, since normal satellites do here things they can't, such as autonomously move around changing orbit and jetting towards Earth, in seconds even. Not just that; they burn during atmospheric entry staying overall intact, including the 'wings' with the solar panels, which would be the first elements to disintegrate. (00:03:00)
