Stupidity: The Imperial sub-boss and his guards deserve to die just for the fact that they allowed a supposed prisoner to be brought in full blaster-proof armor complete with wrist guards that contain deadly weaponry. Who would sit across the table with someone who is wearing a flame throwing suit?

Continuity mistake: Preparing to walk into the Client's compound, Cara wraps a cloth around her tattoo. The shot of the crew walking away from Kuiil (half of his head in the foreground) shows Gina Carano not wearing any bandage, the tat fully visible. (00:26:45)

Continuity mistake: When the two bodyguards approach Greef Karga and the others from behind with the intention to shoot the good guys, the green guy has his pistol already fully raised, but conveniently when Karga double crosses him the gun is lower. (00:24:45)

Continuity mistake: When Greef Karga approaches Mando's party apologizing for the far away rendez-vous (French is trendy even in space), the leftmost guy in his group has a long axe-like weapon he holds in his left hand, right hand at the reverse shot, let again in the rest of the scene. (00:17:20)

Continuity mistake: When Kuiil says that droids are neutral reflections, depending on the shot his right arm is lowered or raised towards the beast he's feeding. (00:12:40)

Other mistake: Kuiil says (and shows in the montage) that the droid had to be taught everything from scratch (takes days of practice to handle a bottle and pour a cup) and has developed a new personality. Yet it is highly skilled in combat as if it could access all the abilities it had when it was a bounty hunter. Either a droid has a 'muscle memory' that needs to be built back from scratch, or it does not. With his master having been in the army as a mechanic, it's strange to say the least that he could make a killer droid out of him, and that the droid can ride with mastery a speeder bike when he never practised it.

Other mistake: During the episode, everyone mentions that as a precautionary measure, Cara Dune should cover her arm tattoo that shows her status of (former) shock trooper for the Rebellion. Nobody even remotely mentions the Rebellion tattoo she has on her cheek showing she is a survivor from a planet vaporized by the Empire. It's like going to a Nazi meeting covering your Allied army rank but sporting a Star of David tat on your face. You are not making it much better. Nobody seems to notice though.

Plot hole: Kuiil is shown salvaging the droid from the building's ruins. A campfire is still burning and the droid's remains are still smoking, but at the end of the mission he spent a couple days at least with Mando on the jawas' sidequest. The only time when he could have got the robot when the ruins were still smouldering would have been right after Mando left, but that implies he's been a huge jerk not giving him a ride, and lied to him when he acted surprised he was still alive - it's also impossible he could have had the droid on his property without Mando seeing it and freaking out. Plot hole: Mando's ship appears in front of the X-wings, but they ignore it entirely without even acknowledging its departure. Considering they have strength in numbers and are chasing a fugitive and acting with extreme prejudice, it makes no sense. (00:36:40)

Continuity mistake: Between Burg's defeat and Mayfeld's encounter with the group of droids he easily disposes of (even if he couldn't hit or damage them earlier on), Mayfeld's shoulder gun switches side in one shot. (00:30:40)

Stupidity: The security droids appear impervious to blaster hits at the beginning of the episode, but nobody from the crew grabs one of the droid rifles, who instead easily pierce their armour. Mayfeld then one-shots them no problem when the plot requires him to towards the end of the episode.

Character mistake: During the fight with the Devaronian, Mando at one point has both guns pointed at him, but his finger in the first shot is not even on the trigger. (00:29:10)

Continuity mistake: The sequence with Mayfeld jacking the door lock of the cell is obviously different takes, since the white lights on the control panel are inconsistent, and his left-hand position and Xi'an's facial expressions are different depending on the camera angle. (00:21:50)

Continuity mistake: When Satan himself (or not) hurls the sentry droid into another one and a blast ensues, the crazy overacting Twi'lek is either hopping with sadistic laughter or shielding her eyes from the explosion depending on the shot. (00:21:40)

Continuity mistake: When the Mandalorian says "Easy, nobody has to get hurt here", the wimpy security guard is holding the alarm transmitter in a different way (the hand is angled in a different direction). (00:19:20)

Chapter 5: The Gunslinger - S1-E5
Plot hole: Something about the timing of the episode does not work. The two pursuers see in their first day of chase a dewback (animal mount). They storm Fennec's position when it gets dark. They quickly capture her, and then Mando wanders the desert to catch the dewback. It takes him the whole night to do so and get back to the encampment, which seems an absurdly long time considering he had it in his sight (and was even sending for it his partner who had no thermal vision). This also implies that Fennec was in the middle of the desert with no mean of transportation of her own.

Character mistake: Mando's xenophobia against droids is so strong that he would not have them repair his ship (even harmless maintenance droids), nor take a cab with a droid driver, yet minutes later he talks to a droid bartender about a very sensitive topic like the search for illegal work.

Audio problem: Amy Sedaris hands the rifle to one of the droids as she walks closer to the baby. The droid puts the gun down and a sound is played as if he set it on something solid, but in the next shot the rifle is gone and there's nothing but sand around there. (00:06:50)

Stupidity: The necessity to deal with the AT walker through a complicated plan stems from the fact stated by Cara that on the planet there's nothing that can destroy the legs of the mecha. Ignoring the Ewoks' guerrilla tactics from Endor, Mando has a fully functional ship that in the next episode one-shots an enemy ship and that he has no reason not to use in here (which is a planet outside any jurisdiction, against an enemy with no anti-air capabilities).
