It's the weapon he prepared for in the iconic "You talkin' to me?" scene, and practices handshaking with it. We see a scene when he prepares to go kill the Senator cutting the sleeve of the shirt off. And yet, when the actual attempted hit is shown, Travis has his hand (the gun hand) inside his jacket, alerting security. (01:36:30)

Stupidity: The Zeon commandos who plant the bombs on the Gundam correctly identify Amuro as the pilot. The Gundam is completely defenseless and pilotless during the whole bomb removal process - they could attack at any point and make the bombs explode shooting them like they did for the first one, but they just don't.

Coming Home - S1-E13

Stupidity: Amuro's mom is horrified by him shooting at the two Zeon patrolmen, and says it's "wrong to point guns at people", but was apparently completely oblivious of him being now a soldier and did not say a thing about it when he literally landed in the middle of the camp piloting a jet fighter, wearing his full uniform.

Stupidity: The protagonists need to know what Pope is planning with his drug shipments, in secret. So they sneak under a false name into Pope's party and... the policewoman goes dancing with Pope, who knows her and that she is a police officer! Good that nobody asks her anything - she'd have no way to explain her presence! At no point it is even hinted that he was just about to go upstairs, why would he, after all, with all those guests? And their secret mission continues with the alarm being triggered and Ice Cube KTFOing guards. Some stealthy mission, and they are even captured at the end! And even after all these epic fails, they just assume that Pope is not going to change anything about the shipment details. And to make all of this even worse, they know about the port commissioner situation, they talk about it and how necessary it is for Pope to control the commissioner, but don't take half a second to mention his name, which is all it takes for AJ later in the movie to 'remember' that he's been bribed.

Factual error: During the opening credits, when Nina Arianda' s name pops up, you also see the invite from the Verdi club for Florence's performance. It's the beginning of the story, but in the street you can see the cinema marquee for the movie "Three Is A Family", released on November 23, barely 3 days before Florence's death. (00:01:00)

Other mistake: After the weird scene with the dude in a wig, there's one quick display of all the various pages that talked about the viral video. One of those pages is written in Italian, but it's obviously machine-translated and/or not supervised by anyone speaking the language, since it contains multiple mistakes (including also an edit flub with the picture of the brothers on top of an article about medusae). Even the name of the magazine is certainly pretty bad for an Italian one; "Daily du Jour", which is French, not Italian. (00:14:15)

Other mistake: Mike and Dave put the ad on Craigslist, and people begin to share it through social media. The first time we see someone share it through Facebook the date of the post is "March 19 at 12:38 AM." Moments later there's a zoom in and now the date is still the 19th, still at 12:38 AM, but the month changed to May. (00:12:30)

Character mistake: During an intermission following Dmitri's revenge after the attempted hit on him, the Chief of staff discusses the data with Dr. Updale. There's a pie chart in the screen in the background, and the segments are; 5%, 25%, 16%, 14% and 50%, which add to...110%. It's not a pie chart, it's a pie and a slice. (00:50:15)

Continuity mistake: Nya knocks at the door of the building manager. She turns towards Dolores and asks her if she's seen him. Lex Scott Davis in the first shot is leaning against the frame with curled fingers, but her pose is with the hand flat in the reverse angle. (00:04:30)

Revealing mistake: Callahan proudly shows to a policeman an issue of the Portland State University "Vanguard", the magazine that is publishing his comic. Looking at the prop, it is instantly suspicious because Callahan's name is all over it like he's a celebrity, and in fact, the article on it is nothing but a copy and paste of Timothy Egan's "Defiantly incorrect" article from The New Yorker celebrating John Callahan's talents in 1992. Factual error: Annu's SAS stewardess uniform (the company is explicitly mentioned) is accurate in colors and design for the time period (it's the pre-1983 type), but the hat lacks the crest of the company, having just a generic golden laurel. (01:08:20)

Factual error: John Callahan is still a struggling cartoonist who has not even gotten his first gig when he shows to a woman at the library two sketches, the second being a joke about Starbucks opening a new coffee store in someone's rear end. Callahan shows the first issue of the Portland student gazette to a policeman a few scenes later and it is dated 1978, Back then Starbucks hadn't even expanded outside of Seattle yet, it will begin only a decade later. Continuity mistake: John wakes up in a hospital bed, with a doctor talking to him in a rather aloof tone. The stethoscope around Doctor Mirione's neck changes position every time the angles switch; the bell is either at his collar or all the way down to his coat's pocket. (00:25:00)

Revealing mistake: When Joseph goes to pick up the prisoner, there's a close-up of the paperwork; the prop is something recycled, or perhaps a real prison movement slip with Alex Veadov's picture stapled on, because the character's name is Vadim Nezhinski, a white Russian, but the documents say "Anderson, Robert", with a B (Black) for race. Continuity mistake: Vadim Nezhinski is asking Bobby to help him with the drugs, and tells him that they are gonna 'fix' all the cops that get in their way. Behind Joaquin Phoenix you can see the same waitress walk towards a door twice, the second time in particular the aisle was shown in the reverse shot a moment before, she is appearing out of nowhere. Continuity mistake: There's a close-up of the Russian that is bleeding on the precinct floor; notice his switchblade is on the floor really close to the pool of blood. Mark Wahlberg arrives a few seconds later, and the blade is at greater distance, and the bloodstain around the person's arm is slightly smaller. (00:27:40)

Continuity mistake: At the beginning of the movie, Bobby finds a bit of a messy situation by the bar, when a scuffle ensues as drunk patrons try to jump on the counter to join two topless chicks. During the scene, Jumbo holds his plastic cup high up with the arm stretched, or lower, and the distance between him and the scared guy with the white jacket changes. (00:05:10)
