Other mistake: In Abby's scene when she is required to bring refreshments to the meeting room, all the drama happens because there's a chair blocking her way to the left of the table. Any sane person would just walk to the right of the table. She has all the space in the world to do that, but the plot to work she appears to be unironically too stupid to even consider the possibility. She also has room to put the tray down without moving a step. (also, as a bonus, the hand of one of the guests is embedded inside the table, just the thumb sticking out).

Other mistake: When Mr. Bianchetti gives the approval to Brigitte's plan, he replies "can be done", with no capitalization (it's like a line or a few words are missing).

Other mistake: The scenes inside Brigitte's office happen in the span of 10 days, but the clothes on the floor remain the same throughout them.

Plot hole: During the blackout, the people who will turn out in the next episode to be the killer and the victim say things (in monologue) and act in ways that don't make sense in relation to the plot and are merely meant to cheat the audience.

Continuity mistake: Kindaichi receives the keys of the building from superintendent Akechi. Notice the somewhat lengthy pieces of wire linking the keys to the large ring. When Kindaichi cracks the case and grabs the keys from his room telling Miyuki to go, the links are half the size they were. (00:19:55 - 00:20:45)

Audio problem: Kindaichi is listening to the recording of the phone call a couple times over; however he does not listen to it in a loop, but rather the file shows up as lasting 52 seconds, with the call being just a handful of seconds. On top of that, when he listens to it again in front of the building, the timestamps don't match.

She was barefoot and her clothes were torn in several spots earlier, but in the early wide shot there are not tears and is wearing pink sandals. She is in the sorrier state in close-up. (00:15:40)

Stupidity: Despite the fact that there are 100 (literally) cameras around the racing circuit and (again literally) everyone from the staff to the fellow racers works for the Scorpion gang, Jigen and Lupin's switch can happen without anyone noticing, even if it involved racing side by side for a lengthy period of time.

Other mistake: When Lupin spins out of the oil patch, the "4" on the front of his car (on the arrow) disappears. The number changes also font and position several times throughout the episode. (00:09:40)

Continuity mistake: When the Scorpion Leader announces that the driver of car number 4 is Lupin, we see a close-up of his face, but the man in the car had his face covered up to his nose by a scarf. Lupin puts the scarf and protective goggles only after a couple seconds. (00:04:45)
