Other mistake: Level 2 has a side-scrolling, shoot'em up section. Characters who can fly (Iron Man, Vision) need no help, but Cap and Hawkeye receive instead by Wonder Man a flying bike to ride. In the Genesis version though, Wonder Man tosses the heavy vehicle on the back of the character's head, and it even bounces off them. In every other version, the bike lands on the ground with no incidents.

Character mistake: The opening crawl of the Genesis version mentions that Red Skull is conquering the world "By assembling a team of super-VILLIANS."

Everly (2014)

Continuity mistake: When Everly hits Taiko with a Yoshimitsu-style seppuku, the sword stabs him in the abdomen and comes up diagonally about at the middle of his back in the first angle, but in the view of his back it comes out a few inches higher. You can use the strap of his holster as reference. (01:16:20)

1984 (1956)

Continuity mistake: After his meeting with Julia, Winston at home opens the drawer and in a close-up pulls the diary out from under a stack of papers which he lifted with his left hand. The angle changes, and his left hand is on the edge of the drawer, and not supporting the papers any more, nor any paper is visible. There's also a pen on the table that should have been visible before, but wasn't there. (00:36:25)

Plot hole: Bo Svenson tranqs himself up by mistake just before the Rome-Dubai flight lands. He then wakes up on the same plane in Hong Kong, and returns to the imaginary Persian Gulf sheikdom that was his original destination, on the same day and before dark. It's not how air travel works.

Character mistake: The arcade closing credits feature a "Key animater" and a "Graphic Co operater", plus other questionable examples of engRish, such as "Back Ground."

Sammo

Character mistake: In the arcade, Simon Williams' alter ego is mentioned during the stages as "Wonderman" (wrong) and in the ending as "Wonder Man" (correct), and Namor is "Submariner" (wrong) during the stage, and "Sub-Mariner" (correct) in the ending. The Genesis version is even more incoherent, since it gets "Wonder Man" right in level 2, but keeps the wrong spelling "Wonderman" in level 5.
