Plot hole: The whole premise of the plot is that nobody is staying at End House but Nick (and the servants); she even says explicitly that there is just one room that is usable and everyone else stays at the Majestic. During the party though, Freddie tells Maggie to go get her coat which is "in my room." They are at End House, not the hotel, how would Maggie have a room there? (00:35:00)

Plot hole: The killer's plan needs to have Maggie at End House - but it's achieved through Poirot's proposal to have Nick call her to act as added protection. But this makes no sense; Maggie's presence would have not protected Nick in any of the alleged attempts to her life; the frame would have crushed her too, she would have died in the car, she couldn't have prevented the rock from falling, and Nick was shot while the most famous detective was with her, even! A random little girl from Yorkshire would have not mattered, so it makes no sense that Poirot endangered someone for no gain.

Plot hole: The hole in the hat was pre-existing and the bullet was fired in advance and dropped. Poirot notices immediately the hole when Nick puts the hat down but somehow missed it while she was wearing it as she supported him. He also does not notice that the bullet has not been fired at that time - which would have been still hot if just fired, not at all if dropped. Most importantly, in the spot where they were sitting, it's not even possible to think where a shooter could have ever been hidden; nobody wonders where the mysterious shooter could have been or cares to investigate the circumstance despite knowing the very moment the supposed shot happened. The fact is basically ignored throughout the rest of the episode.

Continuity mistake: Once Ghost Nick enters the room and Poirot turns on the lights, the Crofts stare at her, and you can see in frame the right arm of "Mne LeMon", sitting by Milly. Next shot though, Miss Lemon is standing on her feet. (00:40:10)

Revealing mistake: When Verdean is scrolling the Wikipedia page for the Israeli wrestler "Johnny Jerusalem", the page itself is a well thought out fake one (the wrestler in question is non-existent), but the prop person who made this fake did not bother going all the way through editing the wording of the footnotes ("References" paragraph), that display instead the name of the real wiki page they edited as foundation. The webpage is an edit of the real Wikipedia page of The French Angel, the real life pro-wrestler who was also rumored to be an inspiration for the look of cartoon orc Shrek. All the names and dates have been slightly altered ("Paul Blowzier in New York" instead of Paul Bowser in Boston, "Carl Pohiello" instead of Karl Pojello, etc). (00:37:20)

Continuity mistake: Verdean's team gets interrupted by the Israeli police while they are excavating in the Holy Land. There are two shovels sticking out from the ground next to the digging spot. Before the arrival of the police car, Boaz is leaning against the shovel that is further from the hole, but as soon as Verdean starts quoting the Scriptures, he is leaning on the closer one. Continuity mistake: Between the first and second song by Katie, she turns towards Angie and Luke. Continuity errors happen there, with her doing twice the gesture to open quizzically the arms she was clutching the microphone with, to the mic itself suddenly switching hand, from left to right. (01:17:10)

Continuity mistake: Katie does her second performance, the song "Bless myself." Her friend comes onstage to help her out of the leather jacket. In the next wider shot, both girls are pulling at the same jacket between them...but Angie was already wearing a black jacket herself, and now she is not. (01:17:30)

Continuity mistake: When Angie rushes to hug Katie from behind after hearing the evil stepmom's threats backstage, Lucy Hale's hair is parted differently between shots (she has more or less hair in front of either shoulders, and it keeps switching). (01:11:05)

Continuity mistake: Katie tells Victor that she sorta loves him; Meatball has his hand on Victor's shoulder all of a sudden. His hands also assume inconsistent positions when he keeps getting cut off by Katie a few seconds later, being open or pointing fingers. (01:06:10)

Continuity mistake: Talking about the musical qualities of rosewood, Luke holds the guitar with an upward hand, downward in the shots that follow and precede. There are other continuity mistakes in the scene, including a very noticeable one when Victor runs off and when Luke comments on the missing head of the painting; all of a sudden he's not holding the guitar at all. Continuity mistake: At the end of the little practice session with Victor, Luke tells him he could be a Beatle. Victor's hand goes from the bottom of the guitar to his mouth - it's not even the first time it happens in the scene, the takes from behind the child actor have choppy continuity. Continuity mistake: Throughout dinner, Bev's steak and lettuce keep changing place randomly. Moreso, when she takes a break she puts the napkin on top of the food, but when she is back, the napkin is at the side of the plate. Between shots the cloth also ends up crumpled differently. Continuity mistake: Luke invited Bev to dinner. Walking back from the car, Gail tells Katie to write a song for her daughter. There's an obvious cut during their walk, and in that cut it's easy to tell how the extras walking on the opposite sidewalk disappeared, while a new one appeared. (00:49:20)

Continuity mistake: Angie takes off her veil during the dance-off with the principal; when the two are dancing aligned belly to back, in the crowd behind Gail on the left of the screen there are two girls, one in pink and one in orange. They are side by side in the closer shots, but there are guys between them in the wider angles. It keeps switching back and forth. (00:39:50)

Continuity mistake: When Gail approaches Bev at the Bollywood event, behind them there's a juggler, who disappears at the cut. (00:36:25)

Character mistake: Gail reads right through Katie's poor excuse about crotcheting, and says she won't go to the ball "after what you pulled today with Guy." She did not do it (well she didn't do anything, but 'supposedly did') today, but yesterday. (00:31:00)

Continuity mistake: Talking about plans for the ball, Angie takes a bite of the sandwich. Cut for a few moments on Katie, and Angie is now also holding a big mug. So far it's not quite practical but technically possible. But after a couple more cuts, Angie's sandwich is now half-eaten, way too fast. (00:30:10)

Stupidity: When Gail shoos Luke off the first day, in fact nobody accompanies him to the door and they discuss the evil plans when he's not even gone nor they even check he is, they just go ahead with the script. It's a rather odd dynamic, very rushed and movie logic-like. Or theater logic, since it's a typical 'exit stage left' moment.

Continuity mistake: After shooing Luke, Gail tells Bev that she'll lip sync to Katie. She has her hand on her shoulder, but pulls the arm back before the cut. Next shot and her hand is back on her daughter's shoulder. Same thing happens a bit later during the Colin Farrell peen joke. (00:22:55)
