Continuity mistake: Gwen's phone call;Spidey holds the plutonium in a different position in each shot - at the end he even just has it standing perfectly vertical on its own. After the first two shots -when his arm goes from behind the grill to under his chin - we are not talking about consecutive shots anymore and the camera cuts away each time for over two seconds so it is technically possible he'd change position every time, but it randomly goes from above the grill, to behind, front, and perched on it. Continuity mistake: In the second part of the chase, Sytsevich drives off leaving all the police behind and all the plutonium falls from the rack except the second container from the left in the top row. During Spider-man's antics in the back of the truck you can see the container about to fall (and eventually falling) from the third hole from the left. (00:10:50)

Sammo

Continuity mistake: Aleksei Sytsevich abruptly stops the truck creating a pile-up of police cars. There's a close-up of a container of plutonium falling off an otherwise full rack, but the following part of the scene shows the rack half empty, and in any case the one contained that fell in the close-up was the bottom left one, in the rest of the scene the one missing from that column is the top left one. Continuity mistake: When Spidey wastes 20 seconds of valuable time for the ever important task of fixing Max's combover, he says "Lick that", and in the next shot Max does not lick 'that', but 'the other one'; Spidey put in front of him his left hand but the reverse shot shows Jamie Foxx's tonguing Spidey's right phalanges. (00:10:00)

Factual error: A helpful automated voice from Oscorp informs the robbers that "Plutonium-838 is a radioactive material and is highly explosive." No it's not. It is radioactive obviously, but it is not some volatile explosive. (00:09:10)

Sammo

Continuity mistake: When Aleksei Sytsevich says his own name and cackles, we see the other marauders jumping on the Oscorp truck. There's a shot from a crossroad with a pedestrian wearing a grey suit that looks at the police car in pursuit, and at the street corner there's a woman by the garbage bin; the camera angle changes and the people at that corner have changed. (00:08:10)

Revealing mistake: In the airplane fight, heavy objects (and people) get sucked out of the door once the cabin is depressurizing, but the cables and the mask tubes on Richard's side stay softly curled and unmoving throughout the scene. (00:06:10)

Ghostbusters 2 (1989)

Continuity mistake: Janosz is kinda bored as he awaits for the word of Vigo, the scourge of Carpathia. In close-up as he hears "I, Vigo..." he grimaces with his hands at chest height and not any wider than the shoulders. Turning to the wide shot, he is listening with his hands raised and the arms spread. (01:12:25)

Ghostbusters 2 (1989)

Revealing mistake: People are running away from the movie theater, terrified by the ghosts. Are they really though? The girl at the head of the line (she moves towards the screen from right to left, almost blocking the path of another notable extra that waves around a popcorn bag) just can't keep herself from laughing. Same for a guy that tries to whip the animated fur into submission using his scarf (although one could argue in that case that it's such a weird predicament that a bystander could be amused). Suggested correction: Exactly, some people are like the Ghostbusters, they ain't 'fraid a no ghost, which is why they laugh.

Continuity mistake: When Dana tries to take Oscar back from the museum on her own, the cloth on top of the pillow where Oscar is resting goes from crumpled to straight. (01:18:20)

Other mistake: Richard Parker is running away from Oscorp after triggering an alarm at either 6:30 or 9 PM - the movie is contradictory on which one. He goes home to quickly pack and get his son, and then goes to his brother's place to dump him there. The next scene shows him and his wife discussing the situation, including where to spend the night; they are mid-flight to Wisconsin and it's daylight.

Sammo

Continuity mistake: When Mary and Richard Parker says goodbye to their son, the scene is similar but also different from the previous movie; she delivers her line with a calmer voice and doesn't stroke his hair in the jittery nervous way of the original. The dad's farewell to Peter is also longer and here they touch hands. (00:02:25)

Ghostbusters 2 (1989)

Revealing mistake: With his unexplained amazing pyrotechnic and telekinetic powers Vigo lights up the Ghostbusters' dark room and traps them locking the door. Winston barges in and luckily his very mundane fire extinguisher easily puts down the hellish supernatural flames; it's so effective that it also extinguishes the flames in the foreground without him ever pointing the thing at them. Continuity mistake: Tully is chasing Janine after she wished him goodnight. When the camera cuts closer to them, the cars parked on the sidewalk change abruptly, and they get back to the same models only at the end of the scene when someone honks a horn at him and the camera switches back to the original angle. Continuity mistake: While Peter is doing his pantomime with Vigo's painting saying "Walk for me talk for me, yeah!" you can see Dan Aykroyd stiffening on the ladder, acting as if Ray suddenly got possessed/mesmerized by Vigo. In the close-up that follows we see the process happening in a different and more gradual way. (00:51:40)

Other mistake: Dana leaves her home in such a hurry that she does not even put anything on her baby in the middle of December. She shows up at Peter's home, he phones Ray who then rushes out of the door saying he's gonna check Dana's apartment. Peter tells Dana that Ray is going to check her apartment, but their phone convo ended way before Ray had taken that decision, and he has no contact with the others till morning when they meet at the museum.

Suggested correction: Dana easily could have grabbed something that was laying on a table or piece of furniture that was on her way as she was running out of her apartment to dress Oscar in, or a good Samaritan could have given something as she made her way to Venkman's place. And Ray tells Venkman on the phone that he is going to check Dana's apartment.

Continuity mistake: When Ray screams at the slime that "YooOOOuuUUU take the cake" his wrists in the background are crossed and the watch is visible. Cut, and his hands are joined and the wristwatch concealed. (00:39:45)

Plot hole: The crux of the plot (one of the many plotlines, that is) is that Harry Osborn hates Spider-man because he refused to help him when he is quickly dying of the same genetic disease that killed his father. You can see the problem in this sentence already; he is a teenager, but he's dying super-quickly (he already has a large ulcer on his neck) of a disease that didn't bother him with severe symptoms before and that took away his father at 63. No reason is given of this sudden outburst in Harry's case, in fact nobody even acknowledges that such a difference exists.
