Continuity mistake: In the flashback, "Andi" is dead with her right arm on the last step in most shots (as she was the first time we saw the scene) or the one below (like when Blanc is crouching and curses saying "Sh*tballs." (01:45:20)

Sammo

Other mistake: The way Helen and Blanc clash into each other during the blackout differs radically between the first time and the lengthy flashback; in the flashback she is calling his name, and he tells her "There's great danger." Neither happened the first time we saw the scene. (01:07:00 - 01:43:20)

Sammo

Plot hole: In the flashback, Whiskey fired the speargun at Helen at the bungalow away from the main house as she was fleeing at the beginning of the blackout. She has no light source with her, but somehow in the earlier showing of the events she was one of the first people to pop up at the party room seconds after the blackout started, and with a loaded speargun. (01:06:00)

Sammo

Continuity mistake: In the argument between Birdie and Peg that Helen happened to record, Kate Hudson's hands are in a different position in her lap in the reverse shots when she says "There's no stopping it" and just after she admits "It's my secret phone." (01:37:25)

Sammo

Continuity mistake: In their bathroom consultation, Blanc compliments Helen about the 'interesting stuff about Whiskey'; he is leaning on the sink, and then suddenly he's gesticulating with that same hand. (00:01:29)

Sammo

Continuity mistake: Whiskey is walking with Helen towards the pool. When they are under a colonnade, the Taurus pendant shifted towards her left pectoral much more than it was in the previous shot. (01:26:50)

Sammo

Character mistake: In the flashback, Blanc tells Helen that when Miles will pull him aside to explain his presence, that is when it will be her chance to 'snoop'. However, that piece of dialogue is just unnecessarily wrong since the whole distraction with Miles lasts just a few minutes, does not facilitate at all her snooping, and all the other guests are in their rooms just unpacking and hanging out. If anything, Miles keeping the other guests entertained and gathered together is what would facilitate her. (01:25:45)

Sammo

Continuity mistake: In the flashback, Helen tells Blanc as he kneels to tie the shoelace "Duke and Birdie, I think they're onto me." Notice the sunglasses poking from the top of the frame, and the right hand that moves away showing that the shades are in her left hand. But it cuts back on her in a shot from the waist up and her glasses are in the right hand. (01:25:35)

Sammo

Continuity mistake: The night before the boat trip, Blanc tells Helen "This is your last chance to back out"; his forearm for just that shot is on the back of the bench. (01:24:55)

Sammo

Continuity mistake: Andi topples the shelf and various books fall off scattering on the floor. In particular, "The Innovator's dilemma" is propped on top of a different open book. In the close-up where she pulls the napkin out of it, the book shifted without anyone touching them. (01:23:30)

Sammo

Continuity mistake: When Helen shows Blanc the notepad where she drew the Clue-style tab, the letters are drawn in a different way from the close-ups (most obvious hint; the M for motive does not touch the grid). (01:24:20)

Sammo

Continuity mistake: Debriefing Helen at the restaurant the night before the impostor game begins, Blanc tells her how to behave on the boat. Her hands are off/on the table between shots. (01:18:45)

Sammo

Stupidity: The whole premise of the plan is summarized by Helen in the sentence "They don't know Andi is dead, so why would they suspect anything?" However, "they" conspired in unison to financially ruin her sister, and "they" did not answer the mail, none of them. The possibility that "they" all could have gathered and silenced her by force is one of the most likely ones, and yet neither she or Blanc consider even for a moment that the literal crime conspirators could have conspired.

Sammo

Continuity mistake: At the beginning of the retelling of the story, Blanc holds Helen's phone in his right hand, and yet the close-ups are of a left hand. (01:13:40)

Sammo

Continuity mistake: Blanc says "Where's Duke's phone?" holding his wrist in the closer angle, but his hands weren't there in the previous wider view. (01:04:05)

Sammo

Stupidity: The Disruptors have been close friends for well over a decade, and one of the other guests is Duke's girlfriend who has been living with him for at the very least one year (she was at the previous meeting). Yet nobody seems to have the slightest suspicion or recollection about his pineapple allergy, so lethal that it kills him in a few seconds, even more amazing considering that the favourite drink of one of those drinking buddies of his (who is sitting on his lap in one of the flashbacks) is exactly what would kill him; the topic of contamination surely must have been touched upon. Suggested correction: The disruptors were never close friends. According to 1:19:50, they were Andi's "pack." Andi discovered their potential in 2010 because she was an entrepreneur. They were so unfaithful to Andi that they had no qualms perjuring themselves in the Brand v. Bron case. At 1:27:07, Whiskey describes the group's relationship as fake. She says the group's gatherings are "the worst." The only things each of the Disruptors ever cared for was Bron's "golden titties."

Is the correction just about the usage of the adjective "close" on my part? I mean, fair, but I don't see how that changes the absurdity of the fact that these people (the victim's girlfriend and his "pack", "friends", "group", etc.) who have been hanging out at the bar, shown drinking together and established knowing each other for years and years, somehow are oblivious to the violent allergy of this person - something Duke himself is not secretive about and that they know would kill him with just a drop. It's the typical unrealistic dumbing down/forgetfulness of whoever in a wuddunit is not the main character (hence a stupidity, never painted it as a plot hole).

Sammo

I get it. You say it is stupid that a group of friends know each other so poorly. I'm saying they were never friends. They cared for their own benefits. Hence, they never sought to know each other, let alone care.

FleetCommand

Continuity mistake: Duke falls back on the glass table and spasms. His left hand is on top of the right one, but as he rolls over the hand switched place. (00:59:50)

Sammo

Continuity mistake: Miles fixes himself a drink saying "fake it till you make it." He then joins the others, but look at Birdie Jay and her assistant; completely different poses between shots - Kate Hudson is even dancing with and then without her massive glass. (00:58:40)

Sammo

Continuity mistake: Miles seems to have pep talked his friends into staying for the rest of the weekend after the momentary crisis brought by the premature end of the murder mystery. He says "You're staying" to Lionel, who is holding his glass with both hands, then suddenly with one hand, the other hand being on his knee. (00:58:25)
