Magnum, P.I. (1980)

The Ugliest Dog in Hawaii - S1-E8

Factual error: Wheels stuck in the jungle terrain, the mobsters get out of the car. It's a jungle in Hawaii, but, lo and behold, the first sound they hear is the call of a kookaburra, which is native of Australia and New Guinea (but also one of Hollywood's favourite stock sounds). (00:25:05)

The Ugliest Dog in Hawaii - S1-E8

Audio problem: During the car chase, the evil boss says a line "Well, there ain't gonna be no witnesses now, so be a good boy and pull that piece and get ready to use it." recorded at higher volume and 'flat' as opposed to variation of the street noises, making obvious that it was dubbed in later. Magnum, P.I. (1980)

The Ugliest Dog in Hawaii - S1-E8

Continuity mistake: Shawn Hoskins is waiting at the gas station when she is approached by one mafioso posing as a 5-0 agent. In the establishing shot her hair is in front of both shoulders, but closer angles feature her with her left shoulder clear of any hair. (00:20:25)

Magnum, P.I. (1980)

The Ugliest Dog in Hawaii - S1-E8

Revealing mistake: Magnum punches the baddies who tried to dogjack them at the gas station. Old Mr. DiGorgio drives the car and picks them up. Not so old, actually, because Michael V. Gazzo is substituted at the wheel by a younger and leaner stuntman with a fake stache. (00:21:35)

Other mistake: The wall calendar in the hospital background during Story mode has a total of 23 days in the month.

Character mistake: In the "After the Mexico Match" cutscene, Espadas tells to Tsubasa in the hospital "You knew you won the moment you DEFELECTED the ball with your face", in an obvious typo.

Character mistake: During the "World Youth Begins (Part I) " cutscene Shingo Aoi is taunted by Italian star player Salvatore Gentile. Gentile says; "Giapponese are so bad at football." This mish-mash of English and Italian is nonsensical, it should be, if anything "Giapponesi are so bad", plural, not singular.

Magnum, P.I. (1980)

The Ugliest Dog in Hawaii - S1-E8

Other mistake: During the short action sequence with Magnum scaring off Steve and Mitch before collapsing, the lights go off for unexplained reasons; Mitch already ran off and past the guard, so he couldn't have switched them off, and in the fight nobody knocks lights down or bumps into switches. That aside, there's also an odd timing on the noise of the syringe falling, since neither Magnum or Steve appear to hold it in hand and Magnum punched free earlier. (00:12:10)

Continuity mistake: Steve is typing away while DiGorgio disses him for failing to snag the pooch. When he says "You need somebody to tell you somethin' ", Steve's closed fist moves from the keys to the top of the typewriter. (00:10:20)

The Ugliest Dog in Hawaii - S1-E8

Revealing mistake: The moment Mitch and the other goon walk away leaving Victor DiGorgio in the car, you can spot in the background Michael Hasegawa in his private cop uniform waiting for his cue to enter stage, and just pretend to randomly notice the parking violation. (00:03:10)

Plot of Fear (1976)

Revealing mistake: Lomenzo needs to search through the police archive, and his coworker guides him through it. He opens a drawer where there are 3 folders containing case files starting with the letter A (including a ludicrously generic "Associates"). When he opened it, the labels on the front of the drawers were all starting with letter V. (00:10:35)

Plot of Fear (1976)

Continuity mistake: Inspector Gaspare Lomenzo arrives home and bickers with his girlfriend. After telling her that he's her "white slave", he leans against the counter; his hand is on the corner in the wider angle, on the front in the close-up. (00:09:20)

Plot of Fear (1976)

Revealing mistake: The protagonist figured out that the killer is following the "Shaggy Peter" nursery rhyme and explains it to his colleague. A close-up of the supposed killer follows, putting together an album with obituaries. The obituary to the left is an obvious fake; its bottom half begins with half a word mid-sentence, and it mentions a daughter-in-law; the actress Greta Vayan playing the victim - a prostitute - was in her early 30s.
