Young Kidaichi's Murder: File 1 - S2-E1

Revealing mistake: There's a frame of animation obviously missing when the cameraman moves past the rest of the crowd that gathers after the maid's scream. He basically teleports past Miyuki while his hand is still in the same position it had when he had the hand on her shoulder. (00:14:40)

Continuity mistake: Finch just started working for the company. We see at 9 sharp the secretaries, who all are wearing high-heeled shoes curiously of the same beige color, change them slipping in more comfortable ballerinas of a variety of different colors. The coffee break is announced a couple minutes later, and all of them storm the food cart wearing again their beige high heels; the colourful flat shoes are nowhere in sight. (00:11:25 - 00:12:50)

Continuity mistake: During the musical number "A secretary is not a toy", when the line "employed to do a gavotte / or you-know-what " the secretary in purple (third one in the left wing) turns her head facing straight ahead, and she repeats the gesture in the next shot. (00:35:30)

Continuity mistake: Ponty gives the flower to the boss' secretary saying it cries out to be given to her. In the background there's another secretary with a light blue dress, and a man in a suit that walks in the corridor. Cut, and the secretary changed position and the man vanished. (00:19:20)

Ghost Passenger Ship Murder Case: File 1 - S2-E5

Continuity mistake: At the dismal dinner party, Miyuki wears her hair in front of her right shoulder, except in the shot when the ocean magazine photographer introduces himself, when all of a sudden her hair is all the way back, and then after the captain throws his glance at the crowd in POV. Death on the Nile (2022)

Continuity mistake: Jackie shows Linnet the engagement ring. Gal Gadot in the view from behind puts her hand on her mouth, and the gesture is repeated in the close-up. (00:12:40)

Young Kidaichi's Murder: File 1 - S2-E1

Stupidity: Kindaichi behaves in a criminally illogical way in this fourth parter episode. The original victim told 4 separate people some sort of keyword for the party, each one linking to another person. Kindaichi after at least the second if not the first victim could and should have asked EVERYONE (he had every opportunity for that) if they received such a 'password' by Tachibana before he died. Instead, he pointlessly follows the trail of breadcrumbs and two if not three people die for nothing.

Scream 2 (1997)

Stupidity: When the Jada Pinkett and her boyfriend are outside the theater, they are part of a long line. They get their tickets at 9:50, but when they enter the movie, which is in a one-night only sneak preview event, is already running. The event in general is completely absurd especially for a premiere, since everyone in the audience acts like savages (but they shut up Maureen the moment she says something). It is also a movie based on a gruesome tragedy with real people killed barely a couple years before, where they hand stabby props.

Scream (1996)

Character mistake: When they are surprised by Gale, Billy angrily says to Stu "Man, I thought she was dead." To which Stu replies "She looked dead, man. Still does." However, Stu didn't have time to check on Gale, since she crashed the vehicle moments before Sidney is attacked by a Ghostface that had to be Stu himself (since he does the quick clothes switch coming from the car).

Scream (1996)

Other mistake: When Stu brings Sidney's dad out in the kitchen, you can see behind him a September 1996 calendar. Earlier in the movie, the scenes inside Principal Arthur Himbry's office do show a September calendar, which is obviously the intent of the movie, but it's a September 1997 calendar.

Scream (1996)

Continuity mistake: When Billy jumps on Sidney in the corridor making his comeback, a bag of potato chips that was lying against the bench's armrest goes from vertical to horizontal. It wouldn't be surprising that a small and possibly mostly empty bag would be toppled over considering the movement that just occurred, however when Sidney headshots Zombie Billy the bag is back being vertical. Scream (1996)

Continuity mistake: In the close-up with Sid smashing the vase on Stu's head, her arm is bloodied all the way down to the elbow, while when she reached for the object the blood reached just about the wristwatch. (01:40:40)

Scream (1996)

Continuity mistake: When Sidney bites Stu's hand, in close-up the wrist is well visible and displays the bracelet in full, but in the wider angle that section is entirely covered by the bloody sleeve. (01:40:35)

Scream (1996)

Continuity mistake: Stu is slumping against the desk and says he's dying. In the closer angles you can see his left fingers are coated in blood, but in wider angles (for instance when Billy grabs the receiver off him and yells "I'm gonna rip you up, you b**ch"), the fingers are cleaner. (01:38:40)

Scream (1996)

Continuity mistake: Finding out that the gun is gone, Stu whines "Houston, we've got a problem here." Sid in background turns towards him instantly, but she re-turns in the next shot. (01:36:35)

Scream (1996)

Continuity mistake: Stu puts the voice box and the cellular phone inside the breast pocket of Sidney's father; the order is clear and visible even after Stu pushes the poor man to the ground; the white box is in front of the black phone. A minute later once they two-stooged their alibi we see again Mr. Prescott on the floor, and the two devices have swapped place in his pocket. (01:34:20 - 01:35:30)
