It is a double summer issue with the July 7-21 date, and at the same time its numeration begins with an eight. Rolling Stone could have a number 800-something in July from 1999 to 2002. Factual error: Amongst the weirdos with personalized funeral requests, besides a guy from England with the same residence as Sherlock Holmes, there's a guy who believes to be a vampire, Gyappy. He really believes in his classic Bela Lugosi character to the point of not having his age written down, but his residence is a generic "Poland, Earth", while it should be Romania or Transylvania. Continuity mistake: The crew, with the freshly added 3 Aestivalis pilots, is going down with the turbolift. In the view from above, Jun Aoi is standing close to the wall, to the side of Goat. In the shot that follows though, he is in front of him impeding part of the view. (00:11:45)

Other mistake: Akito falls into a pitfall forming under his feet. The ground near Megumi Reinard crumbles and she falls as well a couple seconds later. In the underground cave Megumi is exactly on top of Akito, as if all the soil and rocks she was standing on vaporized clean in midair. (00:13:30)

Other mistake: After looking for the special nanpura sauce, Akito is dashing through the corridor crossing paths with Yurika. Behind him in the frontal view the corridor looks empty, but a moment later his cart blazes past her followed by other 4 less than a meter apart. (00:09:10)

Plot hole: Akito's attack is point blank, on a ship part of a fleet with Distortion Field activated (basically, they have shields, like the good guys' robots). The explosion he causes is according to Ruri's damage report big enough that it managed to vaporize 80% of the ships they were facing, but his Aestivalis and the other 3 right floating nearby make out of it literally without a scratch. Continuity mistake: When Megumi mentions the fact that the captain celebrates weddings and not just funerals, the magazine in her lap has a light blue cover. After Yurika runs away bawling, her magazine has a red cover with different artwork. (00:07:40)

Continuity mistake: During the 'double attack' against the robot called by Hikaru with a Gundam reference "Devil Aestivalis", her mecha is in front of Izumi's as they approach waving left and right, but when they get punched away Izumi's is the one leading the attack. (00:18:40)

Continuity mistake: Ranma runs away from Shampoo's first assault. There's an establishing shot of the 'Pand' cafe, and you can see the big hole in the wall. The debris is shaped like rocks, thicker than the wall they supposedly were a part of. In the next shot, when Akane points her to the wrong direction, you can also see toppled furniture and a dude poking his head out of the wall, not matching the earlier view. (00:03:55)

Other mistake: Genma is snoring instead of listening to Ranma, and he punishes him slamming his face into the floor. One of the last images flashing on screen during the KO is Azusa Shiratori the ice skater, a character Ranma has not encountered yet. (00:11:40)

Continuity mistake: Shampoo breaks a part of the outer wall of the Tendo house swinging at Akane. You can see the chui wrecked through 3 vertical rows and part of a fourth, completely destroying horizontal wooden slats. After the intermission we see Akene raging next to the wall, which is now broken in barely 3 sections and with a visible horizontal slat intact in one out of 3. (00:09:50 - 00:11:45)

Continuity mistake: As Mr. Tendo is fuming, Shampoo pulls out a book. Seen from behind, she is holding it with the thumb of her left hand along the edge. In the reverse shot, the position of her hand is not consistent; her thumb should be visible or at least part of her hand should be closer, for the thumb to be in that position and at that height. Continuity mistake: Ranma's shirt has wet stains in the upper part from Nabikini pouring water to turn him back into his male form. Then he falls into the pond thanks to Ryoga's disturbance, turning female again. And the chase begins again, with his shirt having just the wet patch around his shoulders, while she should be wet head to toe. (00:20:00)
