Revealing mistake: When Ultraman finally confronts the fake Ultraman (Zarab), one of the shots shows the two Ultramans rotating around, followed by a right-hand punch right to the fake's left neck. At the end of the shot, the suit actor can be seen wagging his right arm in mid-air, possibly hitting the neck too hard. What's even noticeable is that parts of the silver paint on the right glove fall off. (00:23:34)
Continuity mistake: When Hayata confronts the monster that just grew to kaiju-like size, he strikes an entirely different pose (right arm forward pointing the gun, right arm back, forward and gun again) in the different shots. (00:19:30)
Continuity mistake: Hayata blindly reaches for the Beta capsule that allows him to become Ultraman. He accidentally knocks it off the building. It happens twice in two separate shots and it happens differently, with either end falling first. (00:20:15)
Revealing mistake: When the monster uses its claw to swat Hayata away, under the superimposed claw you can see the abrupt disappearance of Hayata's shadow from one frame to the next. (00:19:30)
Revealing mistake: During his first confrontation with the alien, Hayata's pistol shoots powerful rays that don't cause a single speck of damage to the walls when the monster dodges them. They are just superimposed. (00:09:40)
Continuity mistake: At the security council meeting, Muramatsu's red pencil is along the notes' side in the wide shot, on the page itself in the closer angle. (00:10:20)
Revealing mistake: When the monster is revealed behind a column as the troops enter the building and it splits in two mirror images, they did not stop the clock in the background, which reveals whenever they stopped filming to change things in frame.
Other mistake: At the beginning of the episode it is said that the events take place 38 hours apart. It's 2:25 PM. We see then Arashi get up in the middle of the night, so it could easily be midnight...but then he reaches the station and it's daylight, and the kid is in his car, even. Moreover, when the troops enter, a clock inside the building points 2:10.
Revealing mistake: The victims of the stasis ray in the episode try to hold still as much as possible...with varying° of success.
Continuity mistake: The shadows on Arashi's chest when the alarm buzzes change at the cut. (00:07:05)
Continuity mistake: Arashi pulls over in the street where the research station is. The car stops a few meters after the turn, but when it's shown again, it's much further into the street. (00:06:15 - 00:06:50)
Continuity mistake: When Arashi steps away from his slippers, those are positioned on the floor in a different way at the cut. (00:05:10)
Continuity mistake: Ide jumps out of bed and quickly puts his boots on, but the boots are in a different position on the floor than before. (00:03:15)
Continuity mistake: Ide can't sleep due to the thunderous snoring in the room. He grabs the blanket; the position of the blanket under his arms changes as the shot changes. (00:03:10)

Revealing mistake: When Bemular shoots his beam at Ultraman, the special effect actually does superimpose over part of Ultraman's leg as if he were hit, which is not what happens. (00:22:05)
Urutora sakusen dai ichi gô - S1-E2
Revealing mistake: When Bemular and Ultraman wrestle by the river, evidently the stunt double's arm couldn't fit inside the Bemular's T-rex arms, because they are entirely lifeless and instead of 'wrestling', the scene is basically Ultraman rolling around hugging a big rubber log. (00:21:10)

Continuity mistake: The submarine is surrounded by burning trees, but when Hayata sticks his arm out to summon Ultraman there's nothing burning in the background. (00:19:40)

Revealing mistake: When Bemular drops the submarine, this does not fall in a plausible trajectory but it is yanked away mid-fall with a string by someone off-screen. (00:19:15)

Revealing mistake: The VTOL hits Bemular with two missiles the second time that Hayata makes him come out of the water. The second missile causes an explosion with the special effect applied in the wrong spot, a spot in the back of the monster that is practically the opposite of the direction in the line of shot. Continuity mistake: When Captain Muramatsu sees Hayata on the boat, he sticks the antenna out from his lapel radio, but he already had it out to talk to Akiko. (00:14:20)
