Question: When Norrington and his crew successfully win back their ship from the pirates when the curse is lifted, the soldiers begin to chant something. What are they chanting and what does it mean?
Answer: They're shouting "huzzah", which was a traditional sailor's cheer. The modern-day cheers "hurrah" and "hooray" derived from this word.
Question: Even though the Simpson's home state is a mystery, in the episode where Homer gets kidnapped in Brazil, Lisa says that if you look at the clues, you can figure it out. Has anyone tried to look at all the clues and figured it out? My theory is that the Simpson's home state is Oregon (where Matt Groening grew up). There was even an episode where Homer joins the Navy and it shows a plotted map of USA where Homer sails off from the west coast of America (either Oregon or northern California). Has anyone else came up with this conclusion or have totally different conclusions?
Answer: This is an age old battle that has been going on since the show's debut. People give supporting arguments for almost every state, and some say that it's made up. According to Matt Groening, Springfield is not based on any Springfield in the USA (Even though there are over 150 of em), he says it is based on Portland Oregon, his home town. http://www.roundspringfield.com/?section=usual&page=faq#1.
Question: Can anyone tell what brand the black and white hat that Will Smith is wearing when they are waiting for the Dixie 7?
Answer: A german movie magazine wrote that this hat has no brand. It was made especially for the movie by the costume designer. The label on it is merely blank. A reader asked the same question at the magazine's forum.
Question: Why does Rogue get that blonde-white streak in her hair at the end? I've never read the comic books, so if the answer's there, I wouldn't know.
Answer: In the comic books, Rogue could fly and was impervious to bullets. She got those abilities from another mutant, but she accidentally drained too much and received a permanent fix. That is what gave her the grey streak in her hair and put the other mutant in a coma.
Question: Faith uses the term Five By Five when someone asks her how things are. What does this mean?
Chosen answer: "Five By Five" is a term originally used in radio communication to indicate that the signal is good, and is now occasionally used to indicate that things in general are okay.
Question: What are the drummer and Anna/Tess saying to each other during the band audition? I've watched it a lot, and i can never get the part where Anna has a short monologue.
Answer: Drummer: "what are you doing?" Anna/Tess: "I don't know, it's not working." Drummer: "Just do it".
Question: Is a third X-men already being/been made? When will it be released?
Chosen answer: It's in the pipeline. The script is being worked on, Bryan Singer is expected to direct again, and a number of the cast have the third film included in their contracts. Expect it in 2006.
Question: Why is the movie called "10 Things I Hate About You"? I thought it was in reference to Kat's poem, but she lists at least twelve things.
Answer: 10 Things I Hate About You is a play on the title of the Shakespeare play Taming of the Shrew. This movie is a modern re-telling of that play. Unlike DiCaprio's version of Romeo + Juliet, this movie doesn't use the original dialogue from Shakespeare. The premises are the same.
Answer: She only says "I Hate" 10 times. Some of those she says more than one thing that bugs her, but written in list form it appears as 10 things.
Answer: Actually, one of the screenwriters had been looking through her old high school journals for inspiration, when she found a list titled "things I hate about Anthony" (her ex boyfriend). She showed it to the director and he decided to make it the title, also the reason that they wrote the iconic poem for Kat.
Question: When Krusty runs for Senator there is a news program on with the news scrolling on the bottom of the TV. It says "Rupert Murdoch terrific dancer". Who is he?
Answer: His company News Corporation owns Fox and its subsidaries, which is the network that runs The Simpsons in the states, and was once the owner of the Los Angeles Dodgers baseball team.
Question: Why don't Red's parents come back for him, even when he becomes famous?
Answer: They probably do, it just isn't shown. Alternatively, they could have died in-between the time we see the young Red and Tobey Maguire. That could be a contributor to all his anger and rage.
Question: This goes for X-men 1 and 2, why are some of the characters, i.e Beast, Gambit, Spike not in the films?
Question: What type of horse did they use to play Brego?

Question: When Anderton, after his eye surgery, has his dream about the day he lost his son, look carefully at the people shown at poolside after Anderton discovers that his son is gone. For about a second, the camera follows a suspicious-looking man wearing a fairly wide-brimmed hat, and a towel around his shoulders. While we see this man, the video suddenly becomes "choppy," as though something significant were happening. The camera also zooms in toward his face. This all happens in about one second. Are we to assume that this is the man responsible for kidnapping Anderton's son?
Answer: In my opinion, no. I do see what you are referring to, but this has been shot and edited in a manner to give the entire sequence a dreamlike effect. There is nothing in this scene (or in the entire movie, really) that gives any clues to Sean's fate, which is left intentionally ambiguous.
Question: In one movie trailer way back when the movie first came out there was a cut scene in which Eddie turns into cartoon pig. Is there any DVD that includes this scene?
Chosen answer: Yes, on the most recent DVD, it shows a sequence when Eddie is in Toontown and he begins turning into a pig. It also shows how the sequence was made. I think it shows it on Disc 2.
Question: At the very end B-rabbit's friend asks him to join him and help host the Battles. B-Rabbit responds by saying "No thanks, I'm gonna do my own thing" and goes back to work. What did B-rabbit mean by that?
Chosen answer: What he meant was that he was going to go off and try to be a success as a rapper on his own without anybody helping him achieve his goal.
