Question: Is Jack Handle actually a person in Step Brothers? Cause if so, we only hear his name when Robert announces that's who he will be moving in with.
Answer: I doubt it's a person. Jack likely refers to Jack Daniel's, and a handle is usually referred to as a half gallon. Hence the name Jack Handle.
Question: Did Rachel really escaped back to the real world? If so, then why does the sky flicker to static and why does the ring symbol flash when the camera pans out of their house at the end? Is Rachel trapped in another realm of Samara, was Aidan still possessed or did something worse happen to the both of them through that ending? (01:45:40)
Answer: Yes, she escaped, and there's no indication whatsoever that Rachel is trapped or that Aidan is still possessed. I believe the little static/ring flash was simply to imply that Samara was still "out there" somewhere. Similar to how a lot of ghost movies end with a jump-scare of the ghost popping out, even if the heroes survived and escaped.
Question: How did Beetlejuice leave the model and attack the Deetzes as a snake if no-one conjured him?
Chosen answer: Barbara did conjure him earlier in the movie when she saw lights in the model going off and then said his name three times. According to Juno, they let Beetlejuice out but didn't put him back, which gave him the opportunity to attack the Deetzs.
Question: Why are Connie and the other woman wearing black and teary-eyed when Kay visits the children before her encounter with Michael? I believe the woman by the fish tank may be Kay's mother but Connie also seems tearful and upset and dressed as if in mourning. (03:05:30)
Answer: As I recall, this scene was shortly after Mama Corleone died. Connie would still be mourning and wearing black. The other woman is not Kay's mother, but probably a random Corleone relative. Connie is grieving her mother, but also is saddened by Michael's cruelty toward Kay and at seeing Kay's emotional secret visit with her children. Michael had prevented Kay from seeing them.
Question: When the bad guys ring Nicholas from outside the motel Harry and Lloyd are staying at, how did they know that they were staying there? Sure they would have noticed the Mutt Cutts van BUT until the note on the door they didn't know that Lloyd even had a roommate. They didn't see them leave after they took the briefcase and legged it so how did they even know that they were travelling across the country in that van?
Answer: They see Lloyd and Harry together long before that...right at the beginning, in fact, when the two return home. After Lloyd says, "I fell off the jetway again", the henchmen pull up and see them enter their apartment building. The note explicitly says they "packed up and drove to Aspen", so it wasn't very hard to simply head that way and subsequently find them at the hotel...as you say, the van is pretty distinctive.
They didn't have the van in Aspen.
Harry and Lloyd were in the hotel room and reading the newspaper, found out about the preservation society gala. When they both went, Shay immediately recognized them and told Nicholas. Nicholas ordered Shay to keep a close eye on both of them. Although they didn't have the van in Aspen, that wouldn't have mattered now since shortly after they arrived, Nicholas knew he could finally get the ransom money back.
Question: When Ana's car is vandalized, shouldn't there be cameras in the parking garage to show who did it and how they got in to the garage?
Answer: Considering that this is a private residential garage and not a public pay-to-park one, it would be reasonable to assume that there should be multiple security cameras throughout. Christian Grey is a particularly high-profile person who is always heavily guarded. There should be cameras aimed at where his vehicles are parked.
Answer: I ran a parking garage located at city hall and there was only one camera present, which was pointed at the booth/exit gate. There were never cameras in the garage to see accidents or vandalism. Plus, the recordings were never saved for more than 24 hours unless someone requested the recording be pulled before there were deleted.
Question: The movie was made in 1958, why does the calendar in police station show July 1957?
Answer: Because movies aren't always set in the year they're released. Absent any conflicting information, the assumption must be that the events of the movie take place around July 1957.
Question: When the girlfriend is at Dale Massey's grave at end of movie, it seems like it showed her angry face and then cut away to the credits. Were they possibly thinking of doing maybe a revenge sequel?
Question: In the TV version, after the segment "Boys Do Get Bruised", why did it show Walter lying in the coffin instead of Carl? Walter survived at the end of the segment so it made no sense for him to be in a coffin.
Question: What was the get-away plan for the bank robbers? Surely they couldn't just hope a news helicopter would show up.
Answer: They told a hostage to call a news station knowing that that station would send a chopper.
Question: At first, was Mandy serious about committing suicide with Emmett, or did she want him to die and be solely blamed for the murders?
Answer: The way I look at it is Mandy was all for suicide with Emmett but then once she met Garth all of that changed, and she wanted to be with him. It was at this point that Emmett became expendable if you will and had to die. He became the scapegoat/sacrificial lamb. This is just my opinion.
Question: I read that there was supposedly a deleted scene which happens during or after Daniel's fight against Dutch. Namely, after Daniel scores a point, Dutch gets so angry that he tackles him, causing him to get disqualified in the process. Is this true that this scene existed?
Answer: Yes.
And why was this scene deleted? It would explain how Daniel was able to defeat Dutch by scoring only one point.
Question: What was Justin Tarr's (Eddie) line? Outside Enrico's "Remember Sashu"? Was that the name?
Answer: I think so. Kind of a throwaway line probably to cement that he was an informant and trading in favors was expected. I always felt Bullitt's response, "I'll try." was pretty weak.
Answer: Disagree that "I'll try" was weak. Bullitt seems like a guy who underpromises and overdelivers. His "I'll try" probably means more than the Norman Fell character guaranteeing Paradise. Of course, try what? Get him off? Sentence reduction? Better conditions? But presumably they both know all the parameters. I had no idea Eddie was a lawyer, but he looks pretty well set up for just a professional snitch.
Answer: Soft Shoe - a fence, one who deals in " hot" or stolen merchandise.
Question: Wouldn't the air-to-air refuelling plane have exploded once E.D.I shot off the couplet?
Question: What two items were on Mr. Liotta's resume that should have been excluded?
Answer: Mr. Liotta's resume should have excluded her skills, favorite movie, and that she hates bees.
Question: Why did Richard Burton crash the bus through the doors of the structure it was in, instead of having one of the team quietly open the doors and slowly driving it out and away from the village? Didn't what Burton did draw unwanted attention?
Answer: Logic is seldom a factor in action movies. "Crashing the gate" has always been a popular action film gimmick, as it creates urgency and tension and elevates the audience adrenaline level, even when "crashing the gate" makes no sense. A similar scene is found in "Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade," when Jones and his father are making their castle escape in Austria. Indiana Jones ingeniously distracts the Nazis by launching an unmanned motorboat down the canal, and the Nazi pursuers are adequately distracted. In fact, the Nazis probably would have left the scene entirely, chasing the motorboat, if Jones had just waited patiently for another minute or so. He doesn't wait. Rather, Jones bursts out of a crate on a motorcycle within feet of the Nazis, instantly giving away his true position and initiating the whole motorcycle chase scene that follows. Again, logic goes out the window, and the hero senselessly "crashes the gate" for no other reason than to drive the action.
Question: I know the pool was a busy one when filmmakers shot the pool scene, but how were they able to get permission to get in and get all those extras in the film?
Answer: The filmmakers would have rented out the entire pool and closed it off to the public. This movie was filmed in Utah, and many businesses in Utah, at least at the time the film was made, were closed on Sundays, so it's possible they rented out the pool on a day that there was no business being conducted anyway. I believe this was all done in one day, because I attended a panel with Patrick Renna at a convention in 2019, and he mentioned the day they filmed at the pool wasn't particularly warm.
Question: Kendall was really part of 8. This is evident as he was rescued by Pike but went along with the story that he was rescued by Dunbar. Also, that Dunbar was in interrogation but knowing it was really Pike. He also uses the phrase, get your story right. He drew an 8 to indicate that he was part of the organization. He was rescued by Pike because he was part of 8.
Answer: First of all, what's the question? Second, Kendall was indicating that Section 8 was involved because they had the reputation of being a renegade outfit, to deter the fact the he was part of the drug smuggling gang that was operating within the military base.
Question: Is this filmed at the Grand Traverse Resort?

Answer: Putting the Allspark into Optimus' chest would have killed him and destroyed the Allspark (though apparently not completely considering the direct sequel). Optimus would not have fought Sam and would willingly have sacrificed himself to achieve this goal. Without the Allspark, Megatron cannot create more Decepticons (again, this idea is ruined by the sequels which show this not to be the case). Trying to kill Megatron with the Allspark was a huge risk, if Megatron had seen the attack coming he would have easily killed Sam and taken the Allspark since Optimus was momentarily incapacitated.
