Question: How did Davian know Julia was Ethan's wife?

Answer: Presumably John Musgrave told him, as he was working with Davian.

Question: Dan Aykroyd tricks the Russians into revealing themselves by saying something in Russian. What does he say specifically?

dizzyd

Answer: According to the IMDb trivia for the film, it's "Чем меньше знаешь, тем лучше." ("Chem men'she znaesh', tem loocheh."), meaning "The less you know, the better."

Question: What was the get-away plan for the bank robbers? Surely they couldn't just hope a news helicopter would show up.

Answer: They told a hostage to call a news station knowing that that station would send a chopper.

Question: How did Bishop end up with 2 guns during the robbery of Quiles? I'm assuming they edited out of the part where Bishop probably took Quiles' gun from behind the counter. He was holding the 2nd gun in his left hand when they were hiding from being seen by the cops in the store. What do you think?

Answer: Bishop held his second gun when Bishop found Quiles' gun in his convenience store (when Quiles pulled his gun while Bishop and Radames' gang first altercation scene).

False. If you look at the movie again, Quiles' gun was a long nose revolver, Raheem gun was a snub nose. This is A Blooper. It happens in movies.

That would explain how Bishop fired much more than 6 rounds when chasing Q in the finale. You can't reload a revolver that fast while running.

Question: Why was Jason never recovered after Tommy drowned him at the end of part 6?

Answer: To leave well enough alone, Jason always finds a way to come back. It would have been better to let him stay at the bottom of the lake to rot. Besides greedy developers or publicity would have turned the place into a tourist attraction.

Answer: Because nobody but Tommy and Megan as well as the campers knew he was in the lake. If they did then they looked the other way.

Question: Why couldn't the crew put on their spacesuits, then go out and assess the damage?

dizzyd

Answer: That would involve depressurizing the command module and LEM. Given that a substantial percentage of their on-board O2 supply just got vented into space, wasting more at that point to only confirm what they already knew wasn't worth the trouble.

kayelbe

Answer: Even if they could go out and assess the damage, they didn't have the tools, materials, or knowledge to actually be able to fix it.

Answer: According to screenwriter Sam Ham, Batman started out solo in the comics.

Gibson Rickenbacker

Answer: In addition to the other answers, it may also be a factor that around this time the "current" Robin, Jason Todd, wasn't very popular, to the extent that a phone poll was taken which ended up with him being killed off not long before this film was released. Batman was Robin-less in the comics from 1988 - 1991. Given Robin's lack of popularity and strong association with the Adam West Batman series, the filmmakers may well have felt that a clean slate would be a better approach.

Answer: Probably because this was the first movie in the series. It sets up the entire Batman premise and goes into Wayne's backstory before he met Robin. Adding Robin at this point would only clutter and confuse the plot. It would also slow the action and diminish the conflict between Batman and the Joker. Robin being introduced later allows for his own history to be better incorporated into the overall story.

Question: The four troublemaking hot rods nudged Mack onto the rumble strips. Did they mean to? Also, were the rumble strips what caused one of McQueen's souvenirs to fall and hit the button that opens the trailer door? (03:56:18)

Answer: Not sure on the first part but yes, the rumble steps caused vibrations in Mack that resulted in the ornament falling and opening the tailgate.

Question: At the end when they destroy Starkiller Base, did it become the new sun for that star system? Because it sure does have the features of one after the implosion.

Answer: Yes the sun was restored when the base was destroyed. Basically creating a new solar system.

Question: Was it only Wonka bars that the golden tickets were hidden in? Charlie's family seemed to buy him something that looked like a Wagon Wheel rather than a chocolate bar. Was there a chance to get it from all Wonka products or did Charlie's family just make a mistake?

Answer: It was just the Wonka bars that had the golden tickets no other Wonka products.

Question: Does anyone know the song that plays on the radio after a Graboid swallows it?

Answer: Trouble by Travis Tritt.

Question: Is it true that James Cameron hated this movie?

Answer: A quote from the man himself from a BBC News article in 2003 "Great. There was a small part of me that hoped it wasn't good - but another part of me hope'd it succeeded. And it did. And I'm so glad it did. Jonathon's made a great movie. Arnold's in great form. I really like what he's done with it."

Question: How come not a single person saw that Evan managed to "change his clothes" instantly? There were people sat behind him looking straight at him. Wouldn't they see him in his suit one second, blink and then see him in the robes? They all laughed and thought he was crazy but surely they all saw him come in wearing the suit and it's not like you could miss someone getting changed.

Answer: God wanted to see what he wanted them to see, to believe in something you can't believe requires faith.

Question: Why were the kids crying after Nick said all that after the car burned down. I get their feelings might have been hurt but with all the other stuff he said why would that of all things make them cry?

THE GAMER NEXT DOOR

Answer: Because what he said was true.

Question: In the final race, Lightning stops at the finish line and gives up the win to help The King. I don't get why. If he wanted the win and the Dinoco sponsorship, then why not win, then go help him. Sure, he was being a good sportsman, but even in football, you can win, cheer, and then go congratulate the team and say good game. He would have been praised either way.

Answer: It was about choosing personal character and integrity over fame and monetary reward. Lightning McQueen knew that if he won, the ensuing glory and adulation could be shallow and fleeting, as it had been for Doc. McQueen was already selfish and arrogant, and he realised winning the championship would have made things worse. He instead made a sacrifice to help someone else, stayed loyal to his less-glamorous Rust-Eze sponsor, who had always supported him, and knew who his true friends were so that, moving forward, he could build a more meaningful life.

That Hope Is You, Part 2 - S3-E13

Question: At the very end of the episode, why does the Discovery warp instead of using the spore drive? Dilithium is still in short supply, everyone's desperate for it, seems daft to warp places which takes time, rather than jumping directly from place to place.

Jon Sandys

Chosen answer: Discovery had plenty of dilithium from before the Burn, and the implication seems to be that the dilithium planet in the Verubin Nebula has essentially ended the galaxy's shortage, although it will take time to mine and distribute it. That said, I suspect the reason Discovery warps at this point is to test out its new warp drive system, replacing the warp core which was ejected inside the Viridian.

Question: What does the Environmental Protection Agency billboard say before they paint it black?

Answer: It's never shown or suggested what the billboard used to say - it looks like the whole thing (including the mention of the EPA) was mocked up, printed and pasted up over an existing or blank billboard by Project Mayhem.

Question: When Costigan finds out that Costello is an FBI informant, why doesn't Costigan speak privately with Costello and reveal to him (Costello) about being an undercover cop in order to get Costello to tell him (Costigan) who the moles are in the police department? Then he (Costigan) can inform Dignam and Queenan, so they can have the moles (Sullivan (and Barrigan)) arrested. If Costello is an FBI informant and Costigan is an undercover cop then they are on the same side, so theoretically they can trust each other.

Answer: Just because Costello is an FBI informant does not mean he is a nice guy. Costello would probably kill Costigan if he knew he was a cop. They are not on the same side at all. Costello also benefits greatly from having Sullivan as a police officer that is loyal to him, so he would never roll over on him.

They aren't FBI informants either. They are Boston State Trooper undercover agents.

Question: Just want to make sure... so the bank and the insurance were both used by Dylan's dad? And that's why they took their money because they didn't pay for the dad's death? Correct me please.

Answer: No they took the money to impress their fans and to reveal the bad guys.

Answer: They both ripped off Thaddeus. It was part of the frame.

Question: When Miranda was confined in her cell and Rachel was throwing her from wall-to-wall, the guards found out through the camera monitor thinking she was trying to kill herself. But the time when Miranda escaped and went to Chloe's cell, looked through the glass and noticed the Anima Sola tattoo (sheriff Ryan's chest tattoo)...how was that not captured on tape? I know Chloe was not the main character/story, but that bothered me since she was supposedly getting abused by "the devil" in the institution. Either a security cam inside the cell like Miranda's, or a security cam out in the hall to see the sheriff walking in and out of Chloe's cell.

Answer: The Sheriff either had another accomplice or bribed someone to look the other way. Miranda's husband was his partner, he may have given him access codes or cards to get in and out without being seen.
