Continuity mistake: Arnold Betrays Iggy: When Arnold goes to Iggy's home near the start, the front doorknob is on the left side of the door, but the next time Arnold goes to see Iggy to bring him the box of chocolates, the front door opens the opposite way, with its doorknob now on the right side of the door. Other mistake: Snow: After Grandpa turns the street into an ice rink, it cuts to Arnold in the backyard (by the garage) of Sunset Arms where he's been stowing logs in a storage container. When Grandpa shows up in the backyard and tells Arnold, "You got no play ethic," we see the fronts of Green Meats and Art's Shoe Repair behind Grandpa, but that's impossible because Sunset Arms is on the same side of the street as those two stores; we should only see the buildings/stores that are across the street from the boarding house. Revealing mistake: During Cactus Jack's first trap failure while he's under Handsome's wagon, Jack loses his cowboy boots and pants. The camera follows the insane stretching suspenders, and when it cuts to Cactus Jack in his red long johns, the black booties for the stunt are visible at his feet/ankles; then next wide shot, that footgear is gone. Additionally, as Cactus Jack gets pulled toward his pants, it appears that he slides past his pants in the long shot, but is successful in the next close-up. (00:33:00)

Other mistake: Handsome and Charming head out of Snakes End (followed by the newlyweds) and begin their long journey. It then cuts to Cactus Jack before he begins the journey, and at the start of this shot as he places Whiskey's bit, we can see the signpost with three wooden arrow signs and the hillside behind him. This is the same location where Cactus Jack lays trap number seven, named "the tunnel in the hillside," on the next day during the journey; noticeable when Handsome and Charming arrive. Continuity mistake: Cactus Jack's leather cowboy boots have block heels and spurs with rowels and jingle bobs. In quite a few shots throughout the movie, Jack's boots change to no-heel flat soles, and the spurs are missing, though we still hear the distinctive jangling of Cactus Jack's spurs.

While Jaime walks toward Marco, the dealer at the counter, the camera moves at the same pace as Jaime, and we can see the reflection of the camera on the glass (between Jaime and the camera). Just as Carmine clicks his key fob and his car explodes, Carmine's coat is entirely unbuttoned, but when he's blown backwards and slams onto the ground, in the first overhead shot of Carmine lying on the ground, his coat is buttoned up.
