Visible crew/equipment: After Will puts the explosive inside skeletal Jacoby he exclaims, "No fair!" before he and the two other pirates blow up. In the very next shot of Barbossa, as he duels with Jack, the edge of the large wood plank that Geoffrey Rush and Johnny Depp stand on near the pile of treasure is plainly visible at the bottom of the screen. It can also be seen on DVD 2. (This is ONLY visible on the video version.)

Visible crew/equipment: Before being marooned on the 'spit of land,' Elizabeth stands on the Pearl's gangplank. In her close-ups, with the island in the distance, the long 'metal pipe' guardrails are visible behind her in three shots where she is still wearing the dress. The pipes are also visible behind Johnny Depp (Jack) in three shots, including when Barbossa says, "That be the same little island we made you governor of..." In all other shots of the gangplank there are NO guardrails surrounding the actual gangplank while it's extended over the water. (This is only visible on VHS, but can also be seen on DVD 2 and DVD 3 - 'The Lost Disc'.)

Continuity mistake: After Aragorn's coronation, he and Arwen approach Frodo, Sam, Pippin and Merry. When they all bow to the Hobbits, in the close-ups the people surrounding the Hobbits are very close. However, in the overhead wide shot there is a large gap between the Hobbits and the crowd. Revealing mistake: When the Black Pearl swings alongside the Interceptor for the battle, Elizabeth shouts, "Fire all!" The next shot is from behind the lit cannon which is aimed at the Pearl and the following shot faces the Interceptor's cannon, as it goes off. In the shot facing the Interceptor, the raw wood scaffolding type beams are perfectly visible at the entire lower part of the screen, where the painted planks (below the gun ports, above the bilges) of the hull should be. Continuity mistake: Now a resident at Sunnyvale, when Evan looks under his bed for his journals, in the shot from under the mattress the blood stains that appear on his white tee differ from the stain in the shots before and after.

Continuity mistake: At Sunnyvale, when Evan bursts into Dr. Redfield's office the Doctor stands up and in the wide shot Dr. Redfield starts to put his books down on the desk, but the way he holds the books differs in the next close-up.

Continuity mistake: After little Kayleigh picks up the blockbuster, older Evan is now at Sunnyvale Institution. The blankets are not tucked under the mattress, then they are tucked when he gets out of bed, and in the shot from under the bed, as he searches for his journals, the blankets hang down to the floor, yet in the next shot they are not.

Continuity mistake: When armless Evan goes back, the journal, cereal bowl and OJ are visible in a close-up and in the next shot young Evan rushes away from the table. The position of the journal is quite different in the two shots. (01:44:45)

Visible crew/equipment: On Isla de Muerta, Barbossa yanks the chain off Elizabeth's neck, grabs her hand and in the next shot as he places the gold medallion in the palm of her hand, the crew's metallic reflector screen is clearly visible on top of the Aztec gold chest, it even moves a bit. Visible crew/equipment: During Jack's escape, he swings about on the rope. As he does, in the shot immediately following Jack's first close-up, the film crew's blue flat-topped boat, as well as their speed boat with its trailing wake, are both visible at the bottom left of the screen. Continuity mistake: As Aragorn et al are in front of the Black Gate, Aragorn shouts, "Let the Lord of the Black Land come forth!" In the first overhead shot, Éomer is second from the end, the rider with the flag is at the very end and Gandalf is a good distance away from Aragorn. Yet, in the next close-up, Gandalf is right beside Aragorn and in the next rear shot, Éomer is at the very end as the rider with the flag is now second from the end. (02:30:00)

Audio problem: At the Black Gate, Aragorn shouts, "...This day we fight!" and in the wide shot as Aragorn continues, "...that you hold dear on this good earth..." his lips are not in sync with the words. (02:32:05)

Continuity mistake: When the children return home, the first exterior shot pans closer to show Mrs. Darling sitting in the red chair which is angled towards the window. In the next interior shots the angle of the red chair differs. (01:34:55)

Continuity mistake: When the mermaids swim toward Peter and Wendy, in the wide shot as three of them begin to surface, floral plants float between two of the mermaids. However in the close-up as the mermaids surface, they are next to one another with no plants between them. (00:42:20)

Revealing mistake: When Peter scares away the mermaids, one of them lifts her hands up and hisses at him. As she does the silvery make up is visibly smudged on the palms of her hands and at her right armpit. (00:42:35)
