Revealing mistake: While Magnum and Rick are driving to Greenberg's house, as Magnum shouts that they're not meddling, in this shot there's a bar with duct tape (device to secure side camera) over the Ferrari door beside Magnum's left arm, where the camera is located at this particular angle. Visible crew/equipment: 00.24.15 After Magnum has stayed up all night watching Erin's videotapes, Magnum is sitting in the chair holding the empty yogurt container then he stands up, and with this angle of the camera we see the normal ceiling. Soon after, twice we see set lighting at the ceiling, first, when Magnum tells that Erin didn't even blink, and second, when David tells Magnum that he loved Erin. (00:24:15)

Continuity mistake: While Magnum is at Erin's place he watches Erin's videotapes, and the TV set he uses changes style between wide shots and the TV's closeups, during the requisite scenes. (00:21:25)

Continuity mistake: While Magnum is at Erin's place, when he pops in the videotape of "acting class winter 1974" the VHS machine atop the TV is entirely silver on its top in this and a following closeup (also note there's black tape covering the machine's brand name). However, in other shots the machine is black and silver on top, which is even more noticeable in another closeup after Magnum shows David the videotape of Erin with the shotgun. (00:22:05 - 00:25:45)

Visible crew/equipment: After Ffolkes mentions his eleven-hour jet lag and excuses himself from the group, Mandy and Suzie get up to go for a swim, and as the women walk past Magnum a bit of lighting equipment is visible at the top, left side of the screen. (00:28:15)

Visible crew/equipment: When Magnum goes back into Samson's motel bathroom to show Hooker the plastique he found, there's a visible black T-mark taped to the floor (which wasn't there when Magnum first entered the bathroom a few minutes prior). Visible crew/equipment: After Mandy has Suzie's introductions, Higgins makes a crack about Magnum then heads to the stairs. There are three wide shots of Magnum with the two women, and a piece of equipment is visible beside the chair at the right side of the screen, which is gone in the women's semi-closeups. In the third of these wide shots, as Magnum walks toward the bedroom for the first sleeping shift, we can see crew member movement at the bottom, right corner of the screen. (00:06:55)

Visible crew/equipment: At the start, when Apollo and Zeus surprise Magnum in the wine cellar it cuts to Higgins smiling at Magnum's scream, and in this shot we can see lighting equipment at the right side of the screen, which is again visible when both Higgins and Magnum return from the wine cellar. Then when Higgins walks over to answer the phone, a bit more equipment is visible at the left side of the screen. (00:02:50)

Visible crew/equipment: After Magnum just barely gets into the Ferrari before Higgins' beauties get hold of him, when the alarm goes off Magnum punches in a code. In the next shot, at the left side of the screen, we can see a crew member (presumably the dog trainer) wearing a dark shirt standing beside the dogs, before Higgins or the two women are anywhere near the car.
