Visible crew/equipment: At the Thatcher farm, when Mary Ellen introduces her mother to Darcy the tip of the microphone is visible under Olivia's blouse, near the collar. Then when Darcy opens her door, that mic is visible again as Mary Ellen asks if she and Olivia could come in. (00:12:05)

Continuity mistake: After Ike tells Corabeth his idea of having Elizabeth take Corabeth's place at the store, both Ike and Corabeth walk into the store, and during this scene we see the military honor roll board on the wall. In some shots the nameplate with "John Walton Jr" is at the bottom, but in other shots that nameplate is second from the top, under the "Jason Walton" nameplate. (00:38:55)

Visible crew/equipment: While John and Olivia are getting ready to leave for Alexandria, Ike arrives on his motorcycle and grabs the newspaper from the back, and in the next shot just as Ike says hi to everybody, we see the outline of the mic transmitter on Ike's back with its wire leading up to his shoulder. Continuity mistake: When Jim-Bob walks down the stairs carrying the new puppy, there are greeting cards on the shelf above the desk, and on the table there are only candles with greenery, but in the next shot as Jeffrey takes the puppy the greeting cards have vanished, and now there is food on the table along with the candles, which have also switched places. (00:47:00)

Continuity mistake: When Paul enters and exits the Dew Drop Inn, in the exterior shots the doorknob is at the left side of the front door as it opens, but in the interior shots that same door opens the opposite way, with the doorknob still at the left side of the door. (00:16:30)

Continuity mistake: While standing in front of the church, when Corabeth gives Cindy the ridiculous book Corabeth is wearing black gloves on both hands, but in the shots facing Cindy as she tries to refuse that book, we see Corabeth's hand gestures at the right side of the screen, and that hand is bare.
