Deliberate mistake: Troy and Chad drive into Riley's Auto Salvage and park the truck beside the trailer office (which Riley steps out of), near a tow truck. During "Boys Are Back", just after the shot with the female silhouette and the line "Save the girl," in the next shot Chad and Troy run past the trailer office, but Troy's truck has vanished. No worries, because the truck is back beside the tow truck after the song. (00:56:50)

When they reach the livingroom doorway he's taking a bite out of it as he holds the sandwich is in his left hand, but next shot it's in his right as he continues taking a bite.

Continuity mistake: When Travis gives Tai the invitation to the Valley party when she, Cher and Dionne are walking, the notebook flips over in Tai's hand between the wideshot and last close-up - note its flap.

Visible crew/equipment: Near the start, when Cher picks up Dionne in her Jeep, in Dionne's two closeups when she shows off her hat and when she says, "Well at least I wouldn't skin a Collie to make my backpack," the shadows of film equipment, crane and rigging are visible on the lawn as it moves along with the girls. Visible crew/equipment: After Josh tells Cher she's such a brat, at the start of the next shot which is the first close-up of Cher during the driver's test, just as she says, "I had an overwhelming sense of ickiness, even though I apologized to Lucy," the top of a crewmember's head, with his short wavy hair blowing in the wind, is reflected at the bottom of the Jeep's windshield, directly in front of Cher and the steering wheel. Continuity mistake: During Clouseau's visit to the asylum, when a completely soaked Dreyfus finally climbs out of the pond, his clothes have only partially wet patches before he sits on the bench and then they're soaked again.

Continuity mistake: When Jane is wearing one gown (from Suzanne and Greg's wedding), while carrying another in a bag, she hails a taxi and affixed on its roof there is an illuminated advertisement panel and its number is "9Z66". However, in the next two shots the ad panel has vanished and the taxi's number is now "8Z30". (There is a missing shot which can be seen in the deleted scenes. Visible crew/equipment: After Patrick dumps the cake on Moseby, he wipes some away from his eyes. At the start of the next shot, when a crewmember's finger moves across the bottom of the screen it cues Patrick, who makes eye contact with the finger, to exclaim his line, "You did this on purpose!"
