Visible crew/equipment: When Art, The Screenwriter, goes on his first ride-along with Squad 51, just as Art rambles on about the fire truck on its mission of mercy going 80 miles an hour, two shadows of mic/camera equipment are visible on the left and right side of Squad 51's hood. What's amusing is that a moment prior to this, Art actually says that they could mount a camera right on the hood of the truck, when they make the film about paramedics.

Visible crew/equipment: When Roy and Johnny climb the tower to rescue the man at the top, Johnny slips and Roy helps him down the ladder. When Chet begins his ascent, twice there are shots looking down the center of the tower, and in those two shots the cases of production equipment are visible on the landing where the camera is situated. The print on one case reads "400' MAGS", referring to the filmmaking magazines.

Continuity mistake: Roy and Johnny move a barking dog, who is tied up in front of a hermit's rock-faced cave, and retie the dog to a branch in some bushes, but in following close-ups of the dog he is still tied up at the original spot.

Continuity mistake: When Chet quickly takes off his turnout coat, one of the sleeves is inside out when Johnny uses it on the dog, but then both sleeves are right-side out while he and Roy are trying to subdue the dog.

Visible crew/equipment: After Roy and Johnny visit Mrs. Johnson at Rampart, there are three actors' tape marks visible on the floor when they walk past the nurses' station, just before Brackett, Chaplain Miller and Early stand at their marks.

Continuity mistake: When the boy who ingested ant poison is laid down on the gurney, the safety belt is wound around the gurney's side bar and clasped, but when exiting the house and loaded into the ambulance the safety belt is directly around the boy.

Continuity mistake: When Johnny goes to the closet to get the mop, because he's 'latrine officer of the day', he gets hit by the phantom, and all the guys run out of the kitchen to see Johnny wet again, so when dispatch drops the tones they all head for the vehicles and Captain Stanley removes his jacket. Then next shot all the guys are running out of the kitchen, as if they were all still there, and Stanley is wearing his jacket.

Other mistake: When Battalion 5 orders Copter 10 and Copter 14 to make an air drop on Jawbone Canyon, it cuts to a shot of Copter 14 taking off. This is the same shot used in S3, E6, "Snakebite", when 85's guys tank Copter 14 in order to make a water drop where the teenagers' car is on fire down below.

Other mistake: At the end of the episode, when Roy, Johnny, and Chet are at their lockers, Roy comments that Gloria won't make the same mistake twice about the $8.42, and Chet laughs, but the subtitles read, "Marco laughing", even though Marco is not in the scene. Visible crew/equipment: At Rampart, Johnny and Roy step out of the elevator and walk down the hallway discussing the inheritance, and when Roy bends down at the water fountain the outlines of the lav mic transmitter, cable and even the dark strap (that holds the transmitter) around his waist are visible on the back of his shirt.

Continuity mistake: After the Doctor yells at Handles for putting him on the Dalek ship, the Doctor grabs him and carries the head with his right arm, then switches the head to his left arm. However, in the close-up as the Doctor asks, "What does this question mean?" we see Handles is back on the Doctor's right arm, but next shot as the phone rings, Handles is carried on the Doctor's left arm again. Visible crew/equipment: When Brackett tells the orderlies to take the stock broker to the CCU and they tend to him, an actor's T-mark is visible under the gurney while it's still propped up, just before Dixie stands on that spot.

Visible crew/equipment: At the gravel pit, when Roy jumps onto the conveyor belt to reach for the trapped little boy, the outline of the bulging mic transmitter is visible on the back of Roy's shirt.

Visible crew/equipment: After Johnny and Roy arrive on scene with the man trapped behind the semi, when they both put down the splints and drug boxes, the bulging outlines of the mic transmitters are visible on the back of their shirts as they bend over. Then, when Roy leans over to check on the victim, the outlines of the mic transmitter and wire are visible on the back of his shirt.

Visible crew/equipment: After Roy and Johnny pick up supplies at the nurses' station, they walk down the hallway and stop midway to talk about Johnny's insomnia. After speaking a few moments, Johnny and Roy head for the exit, so the camera follows them without cutting away, and when a father and son enter the hospital the camera turns, without cutting away, and follows them up the hallway. Just before the father and son reach the nurses' station, the actors' two black tape mark are visible on the floor behind them, precisely where Roy and Johnny had been speaking.

Visible crew/equipment: When Roy and Johnny are at the nurses' station talking about Johnny's insomnia, after Johnny signs for the supplies, as they walk away the actor's black tape mark is visible on the floor, where Roy had just been standing.

Continuity mistake: When Johnny adjusts his IV after the snakebite, he tells Captain Stanley that he's ready to leave, and Chet is not wearing his helmet, but in the next shot as Marco heads for the squad Chet is wearing the helmet.

Continuity mistake: When Johnny is bitten by the rattlesnake he's holding the handie-talkie, but then he drops it and the HT falls to the other side of the car, as he hoists himself up against the car door. However, when he sits down on the ground he is still holding the handie-talkie.
