Visible crew/equipment: When Ethel's on the stoop in front of the building waiting for Lucy and Ricky, right before Ethel asks Ricky about Lucy's driving lesson, just as Ricky drives up we can see cables moving in front of the new Pontiac pulling the car. Then, when Ethel crashes the new Pontiac into the old car, the jiggling cables are again in front of the new car. Lastly, when Lucy finally starts the old car's engine, now there's a moving cable in front of the old car as well. (00:09:50)

Continuity mistake: When Ricky sings during the rehearsal, there's a pencil tucked behind his ear with its point facing the back of his head, but after Ricky's song is done and he moves the microphone stand, in the next shot when Lucy walks in the pencil point now faces the opposite way, though Ricky hasn't touched the pencil. Trivia: When Mr. Willoughby puts on his bellboy hat he shouts, "Call for Philip__," and stops short, then adds that he's "heard that a thousand times but just can't remember the fella's last name." The sponsor of 'I Love Lucy' was Philip Morris Tobacco Company, whose popular ad campaign at the time was a bellboy who shouted, "Call for Philip Morris." (00:17:10)

Continuity mistake: When Lucy handcuffs herself to Ricky we see the style of handcuffs as they phone the locksmith, but when they're both in the bedroom their handcuffs are entirely different, then their handcuffs revert to the original style when the locksmith shows up. Additionally, when Lucy cuffs Ricky's wrist note the direction of the locking bar around Ricky's wrist, but the next morning when the locksmith is with them, the locking bar is around Ricky's wrist the opposite way, which is quite impossible. Trivia: Before Lucy begins her first rehearsal for the Vitameatavegamin commercial, the director calls out, "Maury, will you stand by with the script, please," and Maury, the script coordinator, takes a seat in front of Lucy with his back to the camera. Maury is played by Maury Thompson, who was the real-life script coordinator for "I Love Lucy" during the first season, before becoming camera coordinator. (00:10:50)

Trivia: When Ricky's on the air as the host of "Your Saturday Night Varieties" he tells the audience that he will start things off with a little music, and before he begins to sing he looks offstage and says, "Mr. Hatch, if you please" to cue the start of Ricky's music. Wilbur Hatch is the name of the real-life music composer and orchestra conductor for "I Love Lucy." (00:22:05)

Continuity mistake: After spending the night at the hotel, when Ricky goes to the front desk to speak with the "Justice of the Peace" it's 7:30 on the wall clock. Then, when Mr. Willoughby stands by the stairs and calls to his wife it's almost 7:40, but when Ricky gets ready to propose it's 7:30, but it's 7:45 when Mrs. Willoughby comes downstairs in the closeup, then back to 7:30 in the wideshot. Visible crew/equipment: When Ethel is about to open the door because Fred is too "busy" to do it, the shadow of moving boom equipment is visible on the wall to the right. Then after Ethel opens the door to find Lucy dressed in her starlet outfit, when Lucy walks in disappointed that she was recognized, in the next shot facing Ethel the shadow of the moving boom mic can be seen on the door.
