Continuity mistake: After Opie tells Andy that he knows he'll win at high noon, it cuts to Warren in front of Floyd's shop (with its furniture conspicuously missing), but later when Andy walks over to Floyd's shop its facade has changed. Note differences such as window structure, and the name "Floyd's Barber Shop" painted on the window which wasn't in the earlier shot. (00:18:05 - 00:24:15)

Other mistake: During the scenes at Goober's filling station we can see a few brand names covered. For example, the "Chew Mail Pouch Tobacco" wall thermometer sign has its brand name "Mail Pouch" covered with black tape, and all the yellow "Pennzoil" cans have half the letters of their brand name painted yellow, so all the cans read "en zo."

Other mistake: When Ida is with Prince, in some of the closeups Prince is wearing a custom halter noseband with "Sky High Angels" embossed on the leather. The "Sweethearts of the Rodeo" rodeo stunts featured in the movie were performed by the "Sky High Angels" a real rodeo drill team, and Prince was played by Hank, an equine member of the "Sky High Angels."

Continuity mistake: At the start, when Cindy walks into the kitchen she sets her books down on the counter with the book's binding facing the sink, but in the closeup the book's binding now faces the opposite way, toward the stove. Additionally, the grocery bag which was on the counter right beside Carol, has been moved for the closeup so Carol is in full view, but the bag is now at the very edge of the counter near the stove, which is pretty odd since there's not enough counter there to actually hold the full grocery bag (presumably something else supported the bag off camera).
