Continuity mistake: When House writes "temporary psychosis" and circles it on the white dry erase board, both the words and circle change repeatedly in the following shots.

House, M.D. (2004)
Visible crew/equipment: After Jack rescues Elizabeth, Norrington shows up on the dock and points his sword directly at Jack. In the first shot facing Norrington, (as the sword points toward the camera, which is Jack's POV), the clear reflections of crew members are visible on the large underside of the crossguard, at the hilt of Norrington's sword, when in fact the only one who should be in the reflection is Jack, or possibly even Murtogg or Mullroy. (00:16:50)
Visible crew/equipment: During many close-ups of Jack, Will and other characters, either two side by side reflectors or a single large reflector screen are clearly reflected in their eyes. (00:16:45)

Beauty and the Beast (1991)
Continuity mistake: When Belle opens the bedroom door for Mrs. Potts and Chip, in the close-up the bottom corners of the doors are aligned perfectly with the edge of the floor tiles, when both doors are closed. Later, when Cogsworth comes in to announce dinner, the bottom corners of the doors are above the center of the tile, when the doors are closed. This should never change. (00:30:15 - 00:31:20)

Beauty and the Beast (1991)
Continuity mistake: After Beast shows Belle to her room, he slams the door and when Belle leans on the door there are backplates secured to the door, behind the two door handles. However, in the next shot the backplates are gone. (00:24:50)

Beauty and the Beast (1991)
Continuity mistake: When Mrs. Potts and Chip go to Belle's bedroom, the small colorful decorative pillows that lie on Belle's bed disappear, then reappear, etc., and the three large pillows change their appearance and position in the following shots as well. (00:30:20 - 00:31:05)

Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (2004)
Continuity mistake: When Harry arrives at Lupin's office the tall dark ornate chair sits directly in front of the corner of Lupin's desk, with one of its chair legs right beside the desk leg. However, in the wide shot when Lupin explains that he resigned, the chair is much further away. Then after Lupin leaves, when Harry walks towards the door, the chair is beside the desk again. Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (2004)
Continuity mistake: When Harry is in Lupin's office, as the Professor says, "I resigned..." his cane leans against the corner of the trunk beside the doorway. Yet when Harry says, "But Dumbledore..." the cane hangs off the center of the trunk. As Harry says, "None of it made any difference," the cane is gone, but when Lupin says, "You helped uncover the truth," the cane hangs again. Then when Lupin says, "If I am proud of anything..." the cane leans against the corner, but wait, when Lupin leaves the office the cane hangs off the trunk once again. (02:06:10)

Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (2004)
Continuity mistake: In Lupin's office, the chair, vase on the floor, etc., between the window and fireplace significantly change positions. Noticeable when Lupin says, "This time tomorrow the owls will start arriving..." then continues, "Dumbledore has already risked enough on my behalf," to the close-up when he magically packs his belongings in the trunk and thereafter. Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (2004)
Continuity mistake: When the Dursleys are in the dining room, the chair located near the telephone, on the kitchen counter, changes position throughout the scene. In some shots its back is right beside the phone, in others not, and then in other shots its back leans right up against the wall and in others it is positioned well away from the wall. (00:02:45)

Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (2004)
Continuity mistake: When Marge floats out the patio doors after Vernon yells, "Stop!" there is a horizontal tear along the vertical one at the back of her jacket, that is gone in the last shot of her after Vernon lets go. (00:05:25)

Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (2004)
Continuity mistake: When Marge turns upside-down, just before floating out the dining room door, the bottom of her jacket falls towards her arms and the back of her jacket is deliberately pinned to her blouse and skirt, so as not to fall entirely down. (00:05:15)

Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (2004)
Continuity mistake: When Harry falls backwards onto the pavement, after seeing Sirius the dog, in the shot facing Harry the trunk lies halfway up on the pavement. However, in the next shot as the Knight Bus nears, only the very top edge of the trunk leans on the pavement. Yet in following shots it is halfway up the pavement again. (00:08:10)

Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (2004)
Continuity mistake: While HRH sit in the Leaky Cauldron, as Ron says, "Even Scabbers enjoyed himself," and continues, "Yeah, along with the dung beetle," the stool behind Harry is straight and not under the small table at all. In the next shot as the twins get on Ron, the stool is crookedly pushed under the table. (00:16:40)

Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (2004)
Continuity mistake: When Harry falls back after being startled by Sirius the dog, the Knight Bus headlights shine glaringly bright light all over Harry and the trunk. Yet in the next shot facing the oncoming Knight Bus, Harry and the trunk are barely lit by the headlights, which are nowhere near as bright. In the previous shot the light is obviously provided by spots. (00:08:10)

Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (2004)
Continuity mistake: After leaving the Dursleys, Harry sits down on the pavement beside his trunk, with no room between the two. When he turns to look at the squeaking swings, in the shot from behind him, there is at least a foot of space between Harry and the trunk. Yet in the next shot that faces him, the trunk is beside him once again. (00:07:20)

Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (2004)
Continuity mistake: When Marge floats out the patio door in the exterior shot her jacket lies flat over her skirt. In the next shot Vernon shouts, "I've got you Marge," as he grabs hold of her hands, and the bottom of her jacket is way up by her arms - note the blazer lining and her blouse. However, in the next shot the jacket lies straight and flat once again. (00:05:25)

Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (2004)
Continuity mistake: In the first exterior shot, as the Dursleys eat dinner, both sides of the kitchen window (above the patio set) are closed. When Harry says, "Oh yeah, I've been beaten loads of times," the right side of the window is clearly open, as the window's diamond shaped pattern is only towards the left side. It's also visible when the lights flicker and the window curtain on the right blows in. In the last shot, as Marge floats away, both sides of the window are closed again. (00:03:10 - 00:05:45)
2nd Mar 2005
Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (2004)
Continuity mistake: Between the shots of Marge floating out of the house and later when Petunia runs to Vernon on the grass, there are many significant changes. The short brick walls that edge the Dursley garden are actually different bricks, different grout and are even aligned differently between these shots. The bushes along the wood fence are at least 2-3 ft away from the corner bricks in the first shots, but in the last shot are aligned with the corner. The height of those bushes go from being way above the top of the wood fence to being at least a foot below. In the first shots there are small metal plaques that are attached along the top of the wood fence, but in the last shot they are gone. (00:05:30)

Troy (2004)
Trivia: Due to the political situation in Iraq, the location for scale shots was moved from Morocco to Mexico, an ideal alternate choice with its broad beach. However, the rushed decision presented some obstacles. Coastal Mexico is an endangered turtle habitat, so to be granted permission to set up the Greek encampment and build boats on the large stretch of beach, the film crew implemented their own turtle incubation nursery, releasing a multitude of turtles while on location in Mexico. They also did not have an accurate idea of the physical conditions of that particular beach - it was unstable and 100 feet of beach washed away overnight, leaving Greek ships teetering precariously on the edge of the bank with the missing sand.
