Continuity mistake: When Johnny and Roy are heading to the parade in The Old Engine, and get sidetracked dealing with a fire rescue, they are wearing the old-style shirts with a ten-button, square bottom bib front, with five buttons on each side. When Captain Stanley laughs at them on the roof, their shirt style differs in the close-up, it's now a nine-button, pointy bottom bib, with four buttons on each side and one button at the bottom point.

Deliberate mistake: During the rescue of the car at the top of the draw bridge, The Boat approaches and radios in to say that they have a diver standing by. Then after Johnny shouts, "Are you all right?" the rescue boat is shown again, but this time it's a flipped shot - note that everything is reversed from the prior shot.

When the two ambulance attendants bring in the stretcher, a crew member's entire right arm (wearing short, white sleeve with pinstripes) comes into view on the right side of the screen, as the camera pans back.
