Continuity mistake: When Brackett leads Mr. Teal to his wife they walk into treatment 2, which has a windowless door, but in the shot from inside the room they're actually in treatment 1, which has a window on its door.

Emergency! (1972)
Visible crew/equipment: While Roy and Johnny are climbing up to rescue the boy on the bridge, there's a closeup of the boy as he breathes heavily. When this shot pans to the right we see Roy (his stunt double actually) place the rope behind his back, and a mysterious dark gloved hand quickly appears behind Roy (and it's not Johnny's hand).

Greatest Rescues of Emergency - S7-E5
Other mistake: After getting their promotions, Roy and Johnny start recalling their history together and when Johnny remembers joining the paramedic program he says he was at 8's, but Johnny was at 10's and it even shows the clip from the show's pilot where Johnny's standing behind Engine 10 talking with his Battalion Chief. The filming of the show's Station 10 was done at the real Station 8. As an aside, the real Station 8 was also seen in the 1950's TV show Rescue 8.

Emergency! (1972)
Continuity mistake: At the start, Station 51 and Truck 8 are dispatched to the cardiac patient stuck in the elevator, and we even see Truck 8 roll up in front of the building in the overhead exterior shot, but in the hotel it's 127's guys with 51's.

Camera Bug - S4-E10
Plot hole: At the end of the episode, when Johnny tells the guys that he sold one of his photographs for $25, Chet claims the money is his and points to everyone in the photo, noting that Captain Stanley, Marco, Mike, Roy and Johnny are all in the photo but Chet's not, which means he's the one who actually used the camera and snapped the photo. However, the itty bitty problem here is that earlier in the episode, during the rescue, we can see that after Marco heads up the hill that it's actually Chet who's with Mike, Johnny, and Roy carrying the victim up the side of the hill, alongside Captain Stanley. So the only one who could have really taken that photograph was Marco, which completely contradicts the whole bit at the end.

Emergency! (1972)
Roy: Well, what did your doctor say?
Captain Stanley: Well, actually, I haven't talked to a doctor yet.
Roy: Then how do you know it's arthritis?
Captain Stanley: What else could I have?
Roy: I don't know, but instead of expecting the worst, you might just try to get the facts. Let me call Dr. Brackett. I'll arrange an examination.
Captain Stanley: No, no, no!
Roy: What do you mean, no? Why not?
Captain Stanley: I can't leave here. I'm on duty.
Roy: I'll make the appointment for tomorrow.
Captain Stanley: No, I don't want to impose on Dr. Brackett.
Roy: You're not gonna impose on Dr. Brackett. That's his job. That's why I'm giving him a call.
Captain Stanley: No. Look, Roy, look. What if it isn't arthritis? Then I'd feel silly bothering him.
Roy: If it is arthritis, wouldn't you like to know about it?
Captain Stanley: That's hard news to take.
Roy: Well, you've already given yourself the worst possible news.
Captain Stanley: Yeah, but I could be wrong.
Roy: Look, wouldn't you like to know one way or another? At least you'll stop worrying yourself to death over it.
Captain Stanley: You'd worry too, if you had arthritis.
Roy: Maybe you don't!
Captain Stanley: Then why see a doctor?

Dr. Early: You chewed out a paramedic the other day.
Dr. Sunderland: [Sighs.] Oh, that.
Dixie: And he's thinking of quitting. Doctor, he takes care of people in places that would curl your hair. When was the last time you risked your life for a patient? Well, they do it with some regularity. Doctor, you were 10 miles out of line.

Emergency! (1972)
Continuity mistake: When Johnny and Roy rappel down the cliff with the downed hang gliders, both of their lifebelts are buckled going from their left to right sides, but in Johnny's first closeups when he's with the second victim, Johnny's lifebelt is on the opposite way, note that it's buckled going from his right to left. Then once the glider falls Johnny's belt is on the original way.

Captain Hook - S6-E8
Character mistake: When Johnny and Roy are with the heatstroke victim in the polar bear costume, they're on different sides of the victim when Roy says, "Twitching here in both arms," and Johnny looks at her left arm and responds, "Yeah, the same thing over here too." And then it happens again, when Roy says, "Got some heavy spasms in these arms," and Johnny responds, "Yeah, same thing over here."

Other mistake: When Johnny and Roy rappel down the cliff to the downed police traffic helicopter, Johnny gets on the HT and says, "All right, Cap, this is HT 51..." but the subtitles actually read, "Hi, Cap, this is HE 51..." Then when they reach the chopper, Johnny says, "There it goes," and Roy says, "Okay, I'll take this side," but the subtitles reverse who says both lines. Subtitles from Universal Studios 2010 DVD.

Other mistake: During the rescue at the studio, when Roy tells Marco and Chet that they need to latch up the wagon before it pulls the stuntman over the falls, we hear the dispatcher say, "Copter 10, respond with Engine 69," but the subtitles read, "Trucker 10, respond..." There is no such thing as Trucker 10. Subtitles from Universal Studios 2010 DVD.

Peace Pipe - S2-E5
Continuity mistake: When Engine 51 rolls up to the house with the fire in the toilet and then also at the hydrant that Roy and Johnny lock off, Engine 51's license plate reads 110856 (different engine). However, right after Chet proposes a treaty, when Station 51 is dispatched to the "construction accident," just as the front bay door opens in the shot from inside the apparatus bay, Engine 51's plate reads 180174.
