Factual error: This episode takes place in NYC during the 1930's, but after McCoy's phaser is stolen in the exterior shot of the buildings a fallout shelter sign can be seen. These signs were put up no earlier than 1961.

Continuity mistake: When McCoy arrives in NYC while the man is stealing a bottle of milk, in the closeup the actor's ring finger is partially amputated, but when he steals McCoy's phaser his finger is intact in the closeup.

Visible crew/equipment: After the Klingon vessel's attack on the Enterprise, while returning fire just as Kirk orders to maintain firing range at 100% dispersal pattern, the set's unfinished wood plank with grey paint drip marks can be seen at the bottom of the screen. Additionally, at the end when Spock goes to stand beside Kirk's chair (also when he walks away) the actor's mark can be seen on the floor by Spock's feet.

Visible crew/equipment: When Kirk is thrown into jail with Spock you can see the movement of the entire blue crash mat used to break his fall.

Continuity mistake: When Joey takes the steaks out of the freezer, Phoebe's holding a napkin up by her face with her left hand while her right hand is down and empty, but in the next shot it's her right hand that's up with a napkin.

Revealing mistake: When Monica offers Joey lemonade and he takes off his clothes and is behind the lamp, the tops of his boxer shorts are visible when he says "Were you just gonna give me lemonade?" Broadcasts may crop off this bottom part, DVD doesn't. You can also see his gray boxer shorts through the plant in the previous shot.

The One With The 'Cuffs - S4-E3
Continuity mistake: The handcuffs that Joanna uses on Chandler have a single metal bar connected via pivot to a double bar with the lock area. When Joanna first cuffs Chandler, the double bars on both sides face up at his wrists, but when Chandler's on the phone and when Rachel unlocks his right cuff, the handcuffs are going round his wrist the opposite way with the single bars facing up - quite impossible. Then the same thing occurs when Rachel handcuffs Chandler to the filing cabinet.

Visible crew/equipment: While Joey, Ross, and Chandler are waiting at the vet's office, in the following flashback scenes with the duck, when Joey bathes the duck the end of the bathroom set wall can be seen at the right; and when Chandler's sitting in the canoe with the duck in the pail, a crew member can be seen where the set wall ends.
