Continuity mistake: When Bilbo brings the two bowls of stew for Fili and Kili there's a spoon in each of the bowls, but after Bilbo sets down the bowls one of the spoons has vanished when he picks up the bowls again in the closeup, but the spoon reappears when they run after the Mountain Trolls.

Continuity mistake: After the drive-by shooting at the Federal Building, when Owen and Sam escort the defector and his girlfriend into the sedan, the license plate number is "5GOI417" which soon changes to "5PCI294" when Sam drives backwards. Then it changes back to "5GOI417" when Owen and Sam leave the car, and yet it's "5PCI294" again when Owen points his gun at the camera.

Visible crew/equipment: In the rec hall, when Kensi feigns sickness while posing as a cadet the gunman jumps off the stage, and as Kensi bends over the small rectangular bulge of her mic pack can be seen at her back. (00:30:25)

Continuity mistake: At 12 Grimmauld Place, when Harry and Sirius are in the room with the Black family tree, as Sirius says, "My parents with their pure-blood mania," the area of the wall with both Sirius's and Andromeda's names and burned off pictures is quite visible (as in other shots as well). Bellatrix's name is beside Andromeda's (her sister), but there is no picture over Bellatrix's name banner in this shot (only branches and leaves), nor in any other shot, except in the previous close-up, as Sirius says, "My deranged cousin," where there is a picture of Bellatrix over her name. Continuity mistake: While Harry is communicating with Riddle's diary, after the words "let me take you back fifty years ago" appear on the page, the ink pot's lid is open as the diary pages flip and Harry lifts the book, but in the shot from Harry's POV we see the ink pot lid closed, then the lid is open again when Harry's transported.
