Continuity mistake: When Lorelai picks up Rory and they head off on a drive there is no rearview mirror on the Jeep's windshield, but when they run out of gas and start their walk, a rearview mirror suddenly appears.

Visible crew/equipment: While April is wrapping the gift for Sabrina, when Luke talks to her about the party, the reflections of the set's reflector screen and a crew member wearing blue pants are visible on the toaster's silver surface. (00:23:50)

Continuity mistake: At Luke's, when Rachel shows Lorelai the photo of the Dragonfly Inn, Rachel says, "It's an old abandoned inn I ran across when I was exploring the other day." So Rachel took the photograph in the last few days, and in the photo the Dragonfly does not have shutters, and does not have a sign hanging over the porch, etc. When Lorelai visits the Dragonfly with Rachel and then with Rory, the shutters and sign have appeared, as well as other changes. Visible crew/equipment: Where Lorelai walks into the inn's kitchen she pours herself a cup of coffee, and as she walks toward Sookie we can see the red T-mark taped to the floor where she had been standing. (00:06:45)

Visible crew/equipment: After Rory takes Tristan's invitation and walks away, when it cuts to Emily and Lorelai shopping at Damion's, just as Emily notices the hat we can see the crew member and equipment at the right side of the screen. Then, when Emily finds the light-up bracelets and shows Lorelai, some lighting equipment is visible at the left side of the screen and cables are on the floor behind them. (00:08:30)

Other mistake: The Warner Bros. Studio Tour building is quite a distinctive high-rise, and it's located at the corner of Avon and Warner Blvd across the street from the Warner Bros. Studio backlot, which includes the location set of Stars Hollow town square. During the series, in a few episodes such as "Will You Be My Lorelai Gilmore," that high-rise building can be seen from the town square, past Doose's Market, directly behind Sophie's Music store.

Continuity mistake: In the beginning while Dorothy is still on the farm, she walks along the pig pen fence and then falls in. When Bert Lahr picks her up out of there her dress is perfectly clean. (00:03:45)

Other mistake: When the kids leave Linus standing alone in the pumpkin patch, Sally decides to rush back to Linus, and when Linus explains that she'll see the Great Pumpkin with her own eyes, Sally's left arm is blue, the same color as her dress, then instantly changes to the normal flesh color within the same shot. Continuity mistake: Lorelai is in Luke's Diner talking to Luke. Lorelai is wearing a red sweater vest over a white blouse. When Luke is behind the counter, every time the camera faces Lorelai, the left side of her blouse goes from being tucked in under the vest (as if the vest were hastily put on), to being untucked (as it should be) quite a few times.
