Other mistake: At the start, the episode's textbox reads, "Fort Frazier Ordnance Testing Facility" with correct spelling, but in the next shot the base's sign reads, "Fort Frazier Ordinance Testing Facility" when it should actually be "Ordnance."

Visible crew/equipment: When Erica and Hans pay a visit to Dr. Osmond, just as Erica walks into the lab and stops in front of Gargantua's cage, the tape mark is visible on the floor in front of her feet (fullscreen version).

Deliberate mistake: While Laurence is driving to the park trying to find Martha there are closeups of his car en route, and one of the closeups of the front left side of his car is a flipped shot, note the backwards "Saab" and the surface damage which is actually at the right side of his car. Opie's Job - S6-E1
Other mistake: In the scenes outside the grocery store with Mr. Doakes, there are a couple dozen cereal boxes in the display windows - Post Grape Nuts, Post Grape Nuts Flakes, Post Alpha Bits, etc., and all the boxes have part of their names covered, such as "Rap Ut." It's pretty funny considering that TAGS cast did commercials for Post Grape Nuts, and other Post foods.

Continuity mistake: When Daphne and Skippy drop in on Andy and Barney at the courthouse and want to "play jail," Skippy carries the radio and her sweater into the jail cell with her, but when Skippy asks for her ukulele we see the radio and sweater are now on the side desk, under the gun case.

Opie Flunks Arithmetic - S5-E30
Continuity mistake: When Barney, Andy, and Aunt Bee are at the table after Opie goes upstairs to study, in shots that face all three of them there are things on the middle shelf to the left and right of the center plate, but then in other shots either the left item is gone, or the right item is gone.

Visible crew/equipment: At the start, while Aunt Bee is ironing the bowling shirt, a chalk T-mark is visible on the floor under Opie's chair.

Deliberate mistake: After Barney buys the car from Mrs. Lesh, he and Andy are standing at the steps as he tells her not to look back at the car, and the next shot of Andy and Barney at the front door is the same shot from a few moments prior, but it's been flipped so they would be looking in the opposite direction. Continuity mistake: When Harry hangs the sign on Floyd's shop it reads "For sale Harry Walker real estate," but in the closeup of the sign the word "by" suddenly appears and it reads "For sale by Harry Walker real estate", then it disappears. It looks as if it reappears in the wideshot when Howard stops to read the sign later. (00:01:15)

Other mistake: After Andy and Barney hear on the radio that another supermarket has been robbed they head over there, and in the shots at the supermarket note that many of the products on the shelves have their brand names covered with tape or scribbled over. For example, boxes of "Mrs. Cubbison's" stuffing/dressing and "Sunshine Cheez-It" are covered with tape. (00:16:40)

Revealing mistake: When Andy arrives at the studio for the publicity shots, while he's speaking to Mr. Michaels note that behind them we can see the Taylors' Mayberry kitchen cabinet/counter and a wall with their distinctive gold/silver design wallpaper. (00:03:50)

The Taylors in Hollywood - S6-E8
Revealing mistake: When Andy, Aunt Bee, and Opie are visiting the studio set while the scene between fake Aunt Bee and fake Andy is being filmed in a fake Taylor living room, note that behind the real Taylors we can see bits of the interior of their Mayberry house scattered in the background offstage. Some things to look for include their living room's stone wall with the mantle, their two reddish chairs (one with the fringe at the bottom), and a wall with their distinctive gold/silver design wallpaper. It's particularly funny when Opie looks at the "fake" living room set and comments, "Is that our house? It sure looks different!" while we the viewers can see the "real" Taylor set behind him. Visible crew/equipment: (Ep. 2) When The Doctor, Jo, and Dr. Tyler are taken into Omega's palace, in the first shot of the multiple passageways (right before Jo says that it looks like Aladdin's cave) the curved chalk actor's mark is visible on the floor, then we see it again in three following shots. Note that when they're all escorted further inside, just as Dr. Tyler comments about the matter/anti-matter not making sense, Jon Pertwee looks down, presumably to make sure he hits his mark.

Revealing mistake: (Part 4) After Omega takes off his mask and looks in the mirror, when he sees that his physical body doesn't exist he puts his mask back on and screams, but when he shouts, "If I exist only by my will, then my will is to destroy," Omega's mask pops up off his face, and we can see the actor's blackened face as he shouts the last bit of his dialogue. Other mistake: While Andy and Helen are rearranging everything in the squad car's trunk to make it all fit, Helen picks up the large thermos and written on its bottom we see "Reggie personal." Reggie Smith was property master on set. (00:12:45)

Visible crew/equipment: After Goober has deliberately removed the distributor cap from Andy's squad car, when Andy slams the hood shut we can see the reflection of the filming crew on Floyd's window. Then when Andy and Helen drive away in Goober's truck, the microphone pops up into view at the bottom of the screen. (00:17:20)

Wyatt Earp Rides Again - S6-E20
Continuity mistake: After Opie tells Andy that he knows he'll win at high noon, it cuts to Warren in front of Floyd's shop (with its furniture conspicuously missing), but later when Andy walks over to Floyd's shop its facade has changed. Note differences such as window structure, and the name "Floyd's Barber Shop" painted on the window which wasn't in the earlier shot. (00:18:05 - 00:24:15)

Visible crew/equipment: After Andy agrees with Helen to suggest a blind-date for Warren, when it cuts to Warren walking into the courthouse, we can see set lighting and equipment behind the door instead of the usual painted backdrop. (00:01:55)
