Visible crew/equipment: During dinner, when the freshly glued vase with the flowers springs a few leaks we can see the top of the kitchen set in some shots, particularly when Alice makes the joke about three coins for the fountain.

Continuity mistake: At the start of the episode, in the exterior shot when Jan and Peter rush through the patio door Jan doesn't have a ribbon in her hair, but in the interior shot suddenly there's a long red yarn ribbon in Jan's hair.

Visible crew/equipment: During the scenes in the living room after wig-wearing Lucy comes home in a huff about Ricky, an actor's mark is visible on the carpet at the fireplace, and there's a T-mark on the carpet between the couch and desk.

Visible crew/equipment: When Lucy tells Ricky, Fred, and Ethel that she made a carbon copy of the novel they just burned in the fireplace, the actors' tape marks are visible on the carpet when Lucy says, "Pardon me," in the wideshot. Then later, when Ricky, Fred, and Ethel walk in while Lucy's typing up her sequel, they stand at tape marks again. (00:11:05)

Continuity mistake: When Ricky has five seconds left on Freddie Fillmore's show, in the wideshot Ricky starts singing "Let's have another piece of" and he's holding the paper with his right hand while snapping the fingers of his left, but it cuts to Ricky's closeup and the paper's now in his left hand while he's snapping the fingers of his right hand. Continuity mistake: After Mike's mother tells him that she heard a prowler, when it cuts to Mike and Carl showing up at her house we see that the window is wide open, but when they move in closer ordering the "sicko" to come out of the hedge, the window is closed as it should be, until Mike's mother opens it when she sees that the "pervert" is actually Kay. Continuity mistake: At 09:21 on BluRay disc, is the scene where Woody is instructing the army man to go downstairs. You can see in his left hand there is a set of binoculars and in his right hand is a pistol. In the very next shot (at 09:26) you can see the binoculars in his left hand, but the pistol has disappeared from his right hand, enabling him to salute Woody. A few shots later (09:33) we get a good look at the army man. The pistol is still missing. We also get a look at the holster, which is empty. There was no time for the army man to put the pistol in the holster between shots, and it would technically be moulded to his hand anyway. (00:09:20)

Continuity mistake: When Lucy's locked out on the penthouse balcony, Ethel places the broom handle through the small round finger hole of the scissors, with the large oval finger hole to the right of the round hole and the blades pointing out, then holds the scissors in place as she puts the broom over the balcony rail. When Lucy retrieves them from the broom, the scissors have flipped over. The blades are pointing out and the broom handle is still through the small round finger hole, but now the large oval hole is to the left of the round hole. (Impossible to do on its own. Try it). Revealing mistake: At the Brown Derby, when Lucy bumps into the waiter causing him to trip and spill the tray all over William Holden, we can see that the waiter's hand is taped to the bottom of the tray for the stunt to be done efficiently. (00:15:15)

Continuity mistake: After Ricky takes out the extra expenses from the prize money, when starched-up Lucy walks into the office Fred's holding the last dollar bill, and in the closeup of Ethel's and Fred's shocked reactions to Lucy's appearance we see Lucy's hand holding the dollar, but in the next wideshot Lucy's open hand is empty so Fred gives her the dollar. Visible crew/equipment: After Ricky sneaks the dollar bill into Lucy's purse he sees her stirring in bed, and when Ricky ducks down to hide from Lucy, the two curved chalk actor's marks are visible on the carpet. (00:07:15)

Continuity mistake: At the end of Ricky's song "Lady of Spain" when he sings the verse "all that my eyes are revealing, Lady of Spain", in this wideshot we see Lucy in front of the balcony doors facing forward raising her arms, then in the next side closeup Lucy's still facing forward and a flag has suddenly appeared behind her on the balcony door. Continuity mistake: While tired Lucy is trying to open the card table's legs, she lays her head down then falls asleep, and when it cuts to Ethel and Fred walking in on our sleeping Lucy, there's writing on the table's underside which wasn't in the previous shot. (By the markings on the table it also looks as if the table has been turned on its adjacent side). (00:06:10)

Trivia: When Lucy's reading the book about infant care, she's holding a baby doll wearing a bonnet in order to learn how to bathe and diaper a baby, and the doll she's using is not just any prop. It's actually one of the show's endorsed products named the "I Love Lucy Baby" doll, which were sold in stores.

Visible crew/equipment: At the start, after Fred and Ethel walk in, when Lucy and Ethel walk away from the kitchen shutters carrying things, the stage microphone and stand can be seen at the right side of the screen. (Later in the episode, when Lucy and Ricky appear in the quiz segment an identical microphone is on stage with them). (00:00:35)

Revealing mistake: When Ricky brings home the psychiatrist, in all the long shots of the living room from the time Ethel walks around the coffee table toward Fred, we can see that all four coffee table legs have been propped up on stone blocks.
Continuity mistake: While Eddie performs "Hot Patootie", he's seated on the motorcycle with Columbia for a bit, and when Eddie stands up he's holding the mic in his left hand, but as he walks up the steps it's in his right hand, then next shot when he's facing Frank-N-Furter the mic is in Eddie's left hand, and next shot it's back to his right hand again.
