Continuity mistake: During Esther's banquet when she is pleading her petition, Xerxes has a dagger tucked into the front of his golden belt, but while Esther is holding the necklace in her hand, in two shots facing Xerxes the dagger is gone, and then it returns. (01:49:50)

Revealing mistake: After the scene with the apothecary where the two eunuchs purchased the belladonna it then cuts to Esther, and in her closeup as she lifts the silver cup to drink, there's a small white modern sticker on the underside of the cup. (01:02:00)

Continuity mistake: When young Robbie stands at the doorway of the trauma room with his father's body, the green door to the back supply cabinet is wide open and the floor is relatively clean, but when Robbie stands beside his father there are changes such as that cabinet door is closed, and the floor is littered with used latex gloves, etc. Then the cabinet door is wide open again when Carol and Luka walk in. Continuity mistake: Frederick picks up a bottle of champagne out of the ice bucket and shakes it a little. As he does this the foil and wire are still on top. He turns and aims the bottle at his wife, then tips it back and the foil has vanished as he now just removes the wire and cork.

Continuity mistake: When Luke offers Lorelai coffee, Luke grabs two paper hot cups, but the camera angle shifts and he is holding only one cup, then the angle shifts again and he is back to having two cups while he proceeds to pour the coffee. (00:38:10)

Visible crew/equipment: When the son of the accident victims is being led through the trauma rooms to see his parents' bodies, you can see Laura Innes crouching under a table in the background directing the scene. Innes was the director of this episode and it was established that this episode took place on her character's day off. Therefore, she should not have appeared in front of the camera at all. Continuity mistake: While Rockford is at the Paddock Club restaurant with Al and Marcy, there's a filled salad plate and a place setting on the table in front of Rockford, but everything disappears in two different shots facing only Al and Marcy. Other mistake: At the end of the episode Lisa and Bart watch Itchy and Scratchy in the TV room, which is beside the kitchen at the back of their house. The TV room has a window that faces the backyard, with the record player on a shelf in front of that window. The problem is when Bart looks out the back window and sees Lester skateboarding past the house, the view outside is actually the street in front of the Simpson house, not their backyard as it should be.

Continuity mistake: After John shows up in his car to take the Simpson family for a drive, Marge has her purse strap hanging off her left shoulder when she asks Homer to at least say hello to John. In the next shot, as she tells Homer that he liked John that morning, note Marge's purse strap is missing from her shoulder, but the purse is still there just hanging in midair under her arm. The strap reappears in its proper place in the next shot. (00:07:50)

Revealing mistake: While Homer is waiting for Marge to come downstairs, both Patty and Selma are wearing turtlenecks. When Homer thanks Mr. Bouvier, in the next wide shot as the twins nod their heads, both of their turtlenecks are not colored in properly at their torsos, so the background is visible through their bodies.
