Continuity mistake: At the Beachcraft crash site, when Locke hands Sayid the gun, in the shot facing Locke the metal tool chest on the airplane is closed, yet, it's wide open in the next shot. (00:25:50)

Revealing mistake: After a close-up of the drawing of one-armed Lord Nelson, Killick opens the lid of the steaming food for Jack in a close-up, just before Killick says, "Oh, here we go again. Scrape, scrape, screech, screech." Later, after Pullings takes command of Acheron, Jack tunes up his violin and Killick says, "Here we go again," in another close-up of the steaming food for Jack. Every detail of the food shown in both close-ups is exactly the same - obviously shot at the same time. (00:26:25 - 02:05:20)

Visible crew/equipment: Upon entering the Chamber of Secrets, Harry spots Ginny and runs towards her. After the last close-up of Harry's face as he runs, there is shot that faces Ginny, showing Harry's back. At the very start of this shot, on the bottom left corner of the screen two overhead studio lights, other equipment and scaffolding are perfectly visible, reflected in the puddle to Harry's left. Later when he runs out of the pipe, towards Ginny, some light reflections are visible as well. (Visible on DVD fullscreen.) (02:04:40)

Continuity mistake: When Mr. Tweedy collects the eggs, he adds check marks in Tuesday's column on the list he holds. In Monday's column it reads that chickens 276 and 277 did not lay eggs the day before. However, when the list is submitted at the end of the week, there are check marks in Monday's column for chickens 276 and 277, as if they did lay eggs.

Continuity mistake: When Bob Conway meets with the High Lama, there is a pillar candle atop a 2 ft tall ornate candle holder, on the table beside the Shangri-La founder. The style of the tall candle holder is actually completely different between the High Lama's side shots and close-up; the height of the wide candle greatly differs as well.

Continuity mistake: After Johnny Storm jumps from the Baxter Building, a close up of him coming from the left is inverted, as seen from the inverted "4" on his chest. (01:21:35)

Trivia: Fantastic Four creator (and Marvel editor-in-chief) Stan Lee has a cameo as Willy Lumpkin, the Four's mailman. It was his only Marvel movie cameo based on an actual comic character.

Visible crew/equipment: When Phoebe and Paige are trapped against the wall/stairs by the web, the seat that Paige rests on is visible, together with supports under her feet - also note the decorative stair baluster has been removed.

Trivia: Stan Lee makes a cameo appearance in the beginning of the movie when Jean is being recruited and showing off her powers. He is the man holding a hosepipe. (00:02:50)

Continuity mistake: When Logan pulls out the two horns from his stomach, the camera shows two holes on the singlet as part as his wounds. In the following scenes, the holes of the t-shirt have recovered (I know Logan has healing ability, but not his clothes).

Visible crew/equipment: When Nina's just been shot, and makes it to the barn to call CTU (around 7.10am), while she's speaking on the phone there's a cameraman visible on the right hand side (DVD). (00:12:40)

6:00 A.M.-7:00 A.M. - S1-E7

Visible crew/equipment: When the guard surprises Rick and Kimberly in the shed, you can see an arm and parts of the camera at the left side right behind Rick when the guard leaves. (Widescreen DVD). (00:23:20)

Continuity mistake: When Kate and Sawyer go underwater to retrieve the case, in a close-up it is easy to see that the male corpse is barefoot. But in a following close-up, when Sawyer swims up with the Halliburton case - just as the words "Production Designer Carlos Barbosa" appear onscreen - in this specific shot the man is actually wearing a black shoe on his left foot. Visible crew/equipment: When Sarah and Nick return to the trailer with the baby T-rex, there is a shot of Nick carrying the rex towards the operating table. Look between the baby rex's legs - there are a series of wires leading from a opening in the animatronic dinosaur's belly to a bulky device (presumably a battery pack) in the actor's pocket. Once you know where to look for the wires, you will notice them in many other shots in the film when various actors are holding the baby rex. (00:46:40)

Continuity mistake: When Peter starts grabbing himself, his shirt is seen semi-tucked into his pants. The camera angle changes and the left side of his shirt is now hanging outside of his pants. (00:55:34)

Visible crew/equipment: While Harry is in Dumbledore's study, in the two semi-overhead shots as Lucius Malfoy says, "So it's true. You have returned," and later when he says, "Come Dobby, we're leaving," sitting on the floor directly behind Dumbledore is a large STEEL piece of the crew's equipment, plus in the second shot another piece of equipment actually moves in front of the steel piece. Revealing mistake: At the start of the Vader vs. Ben lightsaber battle, when Ben turns his on, a cord can be seen that runs up Ben's sleeve.

Continuity mistake: When speaking of Merry and Pippin, a certain Orc says, "What about them? They're fresh." This Orc's face has very distinctive marbled skin coloring. After Grishnak says, "What about their legs? They don't need those..." when that other Orc says, "Just a mouthful," before Uglúk cuts off his head, the skin coloring on his face is quite different. (These were shot at different times.)

Visible crew/equipment: When Hagrid enters the hut on the rock, as well as when he leaves, the bare floor near the front door is clearly visible. However, when he says, "It's not everyday your young man turns eleven, now is it?" in the next shot as Hagrid sits down, on the floor to his left is the crew's mat with marks for the Dursleys (Fiona Shaw and Richard Griffiths), who stand near the door.
