The Road Trip to Harvard - S2-E4
Continuity mistake: When Lorelai returns to Stars Hollow she goes to Luke's, and as she takes a seat at the counter there's a glass domed cake platter (with what looks like pie) at the end of the counter, which promptly vanishes in the following shots. Also, the blue box of wax paper sheets moves to the opposite side of the hot cups on the counter, between shots. (00:37:55)

Chapter Five: The Flayed - S3-E5
Continuity mistake: While Hopper lies his way into stealing the car from Todd and claims that Alexei has murdered many children, Hopper pushes the driver seat back into its proper upright position. Then as Hopper introduces Detective Byers to Todd, the driver seat is once again leaning toward the steering wheel before being upright in the next shot. (00:24:30)

Return to the 38th Parallel - S3-E9
Continuity mistake: While Rockford is staking out Stabila's house, in a closeup he jots down Nejman's license plate number, then Rockford places his notebook aside. In this closeup note the Chevrolet Impala emblem at the steering wheel center (looks like the 1968 Impala version), though Rockford drives a 1976 Pontiac Firebird Esprit with a different steering wheel. Continuity mistake: In the woods, when Alexei is running with Hopper chasing after him, the individual shots of each of them running are flipped. Note Alexei's shirt pocket and Hopper's bloody head wound. (00:22:30)

Continuity mistake: While Myron is on the closet shelf with Carol's shoes, the camel colored shoes repeatedly change between having camel colored heels to dark brown heels. (00:11:35)

Continuity mistake: When Mike walks into the kitchen asking Alice if he can give her a hand, Alice removes two pots from the stovetop leaving the left side clear, but in the shots from the dining room when Alice trips, there are two large pots on the left side of the stovetop, near the edge of the counter. Continuity mistake: While Rockford is at the Paddock Club restaurant with Al and Marcy, there's a filled salad plate and a place setting on the table in front of Rockford, but everything disappears in two different shots facing only Al and Marcy. Then it all reappears in its proper place. (00:20:55)

Continuity mistake: When Rockford and "Angelo" are at La Rue for lunch Angel is wearing a ring on his right pinky, but in the closeup of Angel mishandling the escargot tongs, the pinky ring vanishes and then it reappears. (00:07:50)

Continuity mistake: After Rocky tells Houston about her grandfather's murder Rockford tells his dad to give her a little time, and then it cuts to the closeup of Houston slamming the butter onto a rectangular butter dish. In the next shot some changes include the rectangular butter dish is now a round plate, and the white laminate counter has changed into a yellow patterned ceramic tile countertop. (00:19:50)

Continuity mistake: After John shows up in his car to take the Simpson family for a drive, Marge has her purse strap hanging off her left shoulder when she asks Homer to at least say hello to John. In the next shot, as she tells Homer that he liked John that morning, note Marge's purse strap is missing from her shoulder, but the purse is still there just hanging in midair under her arm. The strap reappears in its proper place in the next shot. (00:07:50)

Continuity mistake: During the last taping of Homer's Poochie character, June Bellamy is standing beside Homer, and she's wearing a watch on her left wrist, but her watch vanishes in some shots. (00:19:40)

Continuity mistake: After Brodka lets Bart go with a warning the boy rides his bicycle home, and in the closeup the handlebar's single brake lever is at Bart's right hand, but in the next wide shot the brake lever is at his left hand. In the closeup there's also a bar at the center of the handlebar, but it's gone in the wide shot. (00:09:05)

Continuity mistake: At the start, when Claire is being chased by the two goons, as they make a sharp right turn their car's front left hubcap flies across the street, then when they pull up behind Claire's parked car, the hubcap reappears on their tire. (00:02:40)

Continuity mistake: When Brodka brings Bart to the security office and plays the shoplifters video tape, Troy McClure's trench coat buttons are on his right side (viewer's left), but when Brodka turns off the video the buttons are on Troy's left side, between shots. (00:07:30)

Continuity mistake: At bedtime, while we hear Marge singing to Lisa in her bedroom Bart is lying in his bed, and on Bart's nightstand beside the door there's a framed photo of Krusty and an alarm clock, but in the next closeup the photo has vanished and instead there's a Krusty telephone. Continuity mistake: During the car chase, when Rockford pulls into a lot thinking he dodged Hammel's two goons a moment later they back up, and as they make a sharp spin their car's front left hubcap flies off, but it reappears on that tire a few shots later. (00:22:55)

Continuity mistake: When Rockford walks into the Mayfair bathroom there's a guy at one of the sinks. The style of the sink and faucet is entirely different between the closeups and wide shots. (00:46:00)

Continuity mistake: When Rockford finds the rock band clipping amongst Aura Lee's collection of matchbooks, it's been cut directly above the heading "Underground Railroad" when we see it in closeup twice. First time at the beach, then later when Rockford and Sara start back at square one. but while they're still back at square one Rockford phones Becker, and now the words "Coming Soon!" precede the "Underground Railroad" heading. Continuity mistake: While Homer and Barney are smoking in the boys bathroom, when Principal Dondelinger walks in on them the "boys" sign on the exterior side of the door disappears in the closeup, but the sign reappears as Dondelinger exits. The door push plates on both sides of the swing door also vanish/reappear during the scene. (00:04:35)

Continuity mistake: After Pepi and Tom walk off into the sunset together it cuts to Bart handing Homer another beer, and the picture behind the couch has brown sails over the boat, but next shot it's colored properly with white sails. (00:21:30)
