Continuity mistake: When Sun brings the luggage to Jin her face is mildly dirty. After Jin says, "Go wash up," in the next shot facing Jin, Sun's entire face is filthy, yet when she turns it's just a bit dirty again. (00:15:25)

Continuity mistake: When Jack removes the paper with Kate's mugshot from the marshal's jacket pocket, in the close-up of the paper there is no writing at the top center of the paper, only at the sides. However, in the previous shot the center writing is visible from behind, and is also perfectly seen when Hurley finds the paper.

Continuity mistake: When Kate, Jack and Charlie find the cockpit with the pilot, the blood on the pilot's face differs between shots, such as in the shot from behind, when he turns to show the location of the transceiver. (00:39:15)

Later, after the house is destroyed, when Ray walks through the basement doorway, the walls, moldings, and so on are entirely different, and now there is an extra wall (perpendicular to the camera) to the left (viewer's) where there was none before. Continuity mistake: When Lucy, Peter, Susan and the Beavers speak with Father Christmas, the position of his large bag when it's on the ground, and then in the sleigh, distinctly differs between shots.

Continuity mistake: When Karen arrives late to Mason's swim meet, Jack balls her out, and she stirs the Bloody Mary she's holding then throws the celery stalk down into the pool. Yet, two shots later, as Jack rides his scooter out, the long celery stalk is amazingly back in her drink. (00:50:40)
