Continuity mistake: When Sam is in the bathroom holding up two sample paint chips, in the first shot she's holding up the yellow in her left hand and the blue in her right hand, but in the next shot they've switched and are in the opposite hands, just as Jay arrives with the coffee.

Continuity mistake: When Rockford finds the money in Rocky's mail, Angel pulls a requisite Angel move and swipes some of the bills. Angel's lowest two polo shirt buttons are open, but in the next closeup as he shoves a bill into his shirt pocket those buttons are closed, then open again. (00:06:10)

A Bad Deal in the Valley - S2-E22
Continuity mistake: When Rockford goes to see his friend the preacher to ask about a new fence in town, the wood box that the preacher opens has the word "donation" on it, with the bottom of the letters facing the hinged side of the box. In the box's closeup some changes include: the wood top is now different and the word "donation" faces the opposite way, with the top of the letters facing the hinged side. (00:38:40)

Continuity mistake: At the motel, when Rockford and Hudson are walking down the stairs during the citizen's arrest, in the closeup of the scuffle Rockford is wearing a dark belt with a large rectangular gold buckle, but in the following shots he's wearing a tan colored belt with a simple single prong buckle. Continuity mistake: During Esther's banquet when she is pleading her petition, Xerxes has a dagger tucked into the front of his golden belt, but while Esther is holding the necklace in her hand, in two shots facing Xerxes the dagger is gone, and then it returns. (01:49:50)

Continuity mistake: When young Robbie stands at the doorway of the trauma room with his father's body, the green door to the back supply cabinet is wide open and the floor is relatively clean, but when Robbie stands beside his father there are changes such as that cabinet door is closed, and the floor is littered with used latex gloves, etc. Then the cabinet door is wide open again when Carol and Luka walk in. Continuity mistake: When Lorelai returns to Stars Hollow she goes to Luke's, and as she takes a seat at the counter there's a glass domed cake platter (with what looks like pie) at the end of the counter, which promptly vanishes in the following shots. Also, the blue box of wax paper sheets moves to the opposite side of the hot cups on the counter, between shots. (00:37:55)

Continuity mistake: While Hopper lies his way into stealing the car from Todd and claims that Alexei has murdered many children, Hopper pushes the driver seat back into its proper upright position. Then as Hopper introduces Detective Byers to Todd, the driver seat is once again leaning toward the steering wheel before being upright in the next shot. (00:24:30)

Continuity mistake: While Rockford is staking out Stabila's house, in a closeup he jots down Nejman's license plate number, then Rockford places his notebook aside. In this closeup note the Chevrolet Impala emblem at the steering wheel center (looks like the 1968 Impala version), though Rockford drives a 1976 Pontiac Firebird Esprit with a different steering wheel. Continuity mistake: While Rockford is at the Paddock Club restaurant with Al and Marcy, there's a filled salad plate and a place setting on the table in front of Rockford, but everything disappears in two different shots facing only Al and Marcy. Continuity mistake: When Rockford and "Angelo" are at La Rue for lunch Angel is wearing a ring on his right pinky, but in the closeup of Angel mishandling the escargot tongs, the pinky ring vanishes and then it reappears. (00:07:50)

Continuity mistake: After Rocky tells Houston about her grandfather's murder Rockford tells his dad to give her a little time, and then it cuts to the closeup of Houston slamming the butter onto a rectangular butter dish. In the next shot some changes include the rectangular butter dish is now a round plate, and the white laminate counter has changed into a yellow patterned ceramic tile countertop. (00:19:50)

Continuity mistake: After John shows up in his car to take the Simpson family for a drive, Marge has her purse strap hanging off her left shoulder when she asks Homer to at least say hello to John. In the next shot, as she tells Homer that he liked John that morning, note Marge's purse strap is missing from her shoulder, but the purse is still there just hanging in midair under her arm. The strap reappears in its proper place in the next shot. (00:07:50)

Continuity mistake: During the last taping of Homer's Poochie character, June Bellamy is standing beside Homer, and she's wearing a watch on her left wrist, but her watch vanishes in some shots. (00:19:40)

Continuity mistake: After Brodka lets Bart go with a warning the boy rides his bicycle home, and in the closeup the handlebar's single brake lever is at Bart's right hand, but in the next wide shot the brake lever is at his left hand. In the closeup there's also a bar at the center of the handlebar, but it's gone in the wide shot. (00:09:05)
