The canister falls directly forwards, and lands directly in front of his right headlight. Wrangler then continues to drive forwards, but the canister is now more to his side. (00:20:25)

Other mistake: Wrangler knocks over a canister of oil which starts spilling oil onto the ground. There is a hole visible on the canister where the oil should be spilling out of, but no oil is shown spilling out of the hole. It is just shown spilling across the ground on its own. (00:20:35)

Other mistake: The canister that Wrangler knocks over when he taints the Champ's fuel supply starts spilling oil onto the ground. A puddle can be seen being made from the spilt oil and is shown spreading across the ground just before the scene ends. When the oil puddle is found the next day, it is virtually the exact same size as it was the previous night when the scene ended, even though the puddle was in the middle of spreading across the ground. Trivia: Derailed: There are three tasks that need to be completed in order to obtain a gold medal, as shown by the final summary at the end of the level - Mission Time, Fastest Speed and Better Than CJ. The task "Better Than CJ" is a reference to the mission Wrong Side of the Tracks from Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, where the main character CJ was driving along the side of a train on a motorbike.

Trivia: Hood Safari: When Franklin, Trevor and Lamar are approaching Grove Street, three men who bear a resemblance to CJ, Ryder and Sweet from Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, can be seen driving away from the cul-de-sac in bikes. This is a reference to the mission Sweet and Kendl from GTA: San Andreas in which they have to ride bikes to evade a gang.

Revealing mistake: Casing the Jewel Store: When Michael and Lester return to the garment factory after taking pictures of the jewellery store, there is a shot from the side of the building that pans from the car around to the building. When the shot is panning around to the building, there are some cardboard boxes and other objects shown next to the building that are suddenly animated partway into the shot. They just appear to pop-up onscreen out of nowhere.
