Continuity mistake: After Snowy runs away, two gunmen grab ahold of Tintin, restraining him. As Tintin is yelling "Cowards! Murderers!", the gunman on the left is holding Tintin's upper arm with his right hand. The shot cuts to a closer angle of Tintin and there is no sign of the gunman's right hand. (00:11:00)

Continuity mistake: When Tintin and the others are locked in the room, Tintin looks out the window, assuming he thought he heard Snowy. On the left hand side of the window is a plant. A few minutes later, Snowy arrives and the plant is still there, but when Tintin throws Snowy out the window telling him to wait, the plant has vanished. (00:13:55 - 00:16:20)

Continuity mistake: Captain Haddock places three strips of tape over Rastapopoulos', Carreidas' and Krollspell's mouths. The last piece of tape over Rastapopoulos' mouth is a strip that goes from the top of his left cheek down to the bottom of his right cheek. A few seconds later, as they leave the room and go outside, it goes from the top of his right cheek down to the bottom of his left cheek. (00:20:35)

Character mistake: When Rastapopoulos and Carreidas are arguing, Haddock intervenes telling them to cut it out. Rastapopoulos and Carreidas attempt to kick each other but end up kicking Haddock's leg. The kick is shown to have hit Haddock around the back of his leg, but Haddock then grabs his knee in pain. Continuity mistake: At the start, keep an eye on the tape strips over Carreidas' mouth. There is a vertical piece of tape directly over Carreidas' mouth, followed by another piece of tape from the top of his right cheek down to the bottom of his left cheek positioned at a sideways angle, followed by another piece of tape from the top of his left cheek down to the bottom of his right cheek also at a sideways angle. All three strips of tape are meeting with each other at a midway point by his mouth. However, when Haddock says "Come on" to Carreidas and Krollspell when they are under fire later on, the tape strips positioned sideways now meet each other at around Carreidas' left cheek area, further away from his mouth. Continuity mistake: When Rebecca is reading on her iPad and Tom, as Mr. Fuzzypants, reading the newspaper, there is a bowl of strawberries and blueberries on the table, positioned about a foot away from the newspaper. In the next shot, the bowl of strawberries and blueberries is suddenly much closer to the newspaper. (00:54:45)

Character mistake: When Tom goes into cardiac arrest, the doctor uses the defibrillator paddles on him, but she uses them whilst the hospital gown is still on him. A defibrillator must be used on bare skin if the electricity is supposed to get through to his heart. (01:08:55)

Other mistake: Two security guards at Firebrand are shown watching a video of Tom, as Mr. Fuzzypants, jumping across a doorway and Lara and Madison attempting to catch him that Nicole filmed. The problem is, the camera angle shows an angle in front of Lara, Madison and the cat and Nicole filmed the video from behind the cat. Nicole can even be seen filming in the background of the video. There is still no way this footage could have been filmed from this angle. (01:15:55)

Deliberate mistake: When the two security guards inside Firebrand alert the other security about David being on the roof, a news reporter overhears, announces it and everyone looks up. The news channel then shows an above angle shot of David standing on the ledge within a second, but how did the news channel manage to start filming David standing on the roof that quickly or even manage to film from this angle? David going up onto the roof was entirely unplanned and within a few seconds of anyone realizing he was on the roof, there is suddenly a news helicopter from above filming the entire thing. It could not have been filmed from the ground because the news is filming an above angle shot and would have been too far away to film. This was probably done intentionally to increase the drama, but still makes little sense. (01:16:50)

Deliberate mistake: After David jumps off the roof of the Firebrand building, it is discovered that he had been wearing a parachute, but this parachute was never visible on him at any point previously in the scene. Even when he was on the roof and after jumping, the parachute was nowhere to be seen. The parachute was too big to have gone unnoticed. It would have been visible whenever the shot was behind him and the straps would have been seen whenever the camera was in front of him. (01:17:30)

They turn around to face each other and are now shown with their side facing the building, but when David deploys the parachute, he is suddenly back with the building facing behind him again. Visible crew/equipment: After leaving the Ambassador's compound and returning to the Annex after Ambassador Stevens decides to stay at the compound, Rone is asked how did it go, where he replies "He's a rock star. Everybody in Benghazi knew he'd be there" and walks indoors. Whilst Rone walks through the doorway, the reflection of the camera and cameraman can be seen reflected in the glass pane of the door as the camera passes by. (00:33:45)

Whilst Rone is talking, the camera is panning down on Oz who is keeping watch and the shadow of the camera can be seen cast on the top of the wall towards the left of shot. (01:27:35)

Visible crew/equipment: When the Annex is being invaded by the Tangos, one of the GRS team members is shown running across the courtyard whilst Oz, off-screen says "We got about 25-30 Tangos." About a second before the shot ends, the shadow of the camera can be seen cast on the wall of the building whilst the man is running and is then cast on a tree in the foreground of the shot.
